BIG Blog post of winners!

Now that halloween is over its time for me to take down the decorations and get ready for the next celebration. Which is closer than I expected. In fact I highly recommend checking back tomorrow. But only if you like naughty books because November is all about the naughty. :)

But first...

There are prizes to be given out. Some of the list below is already posted within the blog posts but since I haven't heard from all winners I gathered it all up in one place. So here goes.

Tracey D won an ebook...

Haunted Houses with Stephanie Adkins!

Hello everyone! I'm so happy to be guest blogging here today. Since Halloween is only a few days away, I decided to do my post about real haunted houses. Maybe some of you have visited them. Everyone that leaves a comment will entered in a drawing for a chance to win a copy of my new paranormal release from Cobblestone Press called The Wicked Flame. I look forward to reading your comments!

Happy Halloween!

Moira Rogers - Paranormal Style

Hi, everyone! Thanks for joining us today on the DAMM blog as we talk about our new release (among other things), and thanks to Eliza for having us!

As a paranormal author, this is one of the most exciting times of year. Even readers who normally eschew paranormal books might delve into them right about now to enjoy rare tales of shapeshifters and witches and vampires.

Bree and I just love that stuff any time of year, so it's no wonder we write it. And, for us, there's a big delineation...

Live Tweets from Authors After Dark Paranormal Weekend

If you're curious about what's going on at the Authors After Dark Paranormal conference in NY this weekend be sure to check out my Twitter and/or Facebook page. I had some trouble last night with getting a cell phone signal so couldn't live tweet but today I seem to be doing okay so i'm tweeting about the event as it happens.

I'm about to head to the Elemental panel where we will be discussing all things witchy and I will discuss my Pentacles of Magick series. (I'm going to sit next to Joey W....

Why We Want Monsters In Our Bed, Not Under It

As little girls we dread the dark and fear the monsters under our beds. Then we grow up and find ourselves wishing they were in them.

Today there are plenty of sexy shapeshifters, demons, and other dark antiheroes living on women's bookshelves and providing fodder for their fantasies. However, the dynamics that make these fringe creatures so attractive seem to be most clearly defined and celebrated by the biggest bad of them all—the vampire.

Modern creatures of the night may be rooted in class...

Today's Guest: Belinda McBride talks about Werewolves

Wow, it's nearly Halloween!

Well, to preface things, I want to thank Eliza for inviting me to blog today. I swore that I was taking October completely off to focus on prepping for a writing blitz in November. That meant no promo, no blogs…yeah, right. I'm an addict.

When I initially decided to enter the erotic romance field, it was my intention to focus on fantasy and sci fi. There were two genres that I would not touch: Vampires and Werewolves. I felt that there were already so many excellent ...

Decorating...Halloween Style

After a brief stint with sick kids this week, i've redonned my party hat and have halloween once again on the brain. In fact, here in the Carolinas we are experiencing cold and dreary weather. Perfect for getting in the halloween mood.

Here at Casa de Gayle we go all out when it comes to decorating for my favorite holiday. Full graveyard out front, lots of monsters and creatures of the night and the downstairs of our house is transformed into a green glowing bat cave. (and if I had my way, i'...
