A Brand New Cover!
Before I get to the cover I want to let everyone know I posted the winning names for the Slave to Pleasure promotion contest on that thread in the comments. Sorry for getting that posted late. I had to get a book turned in this week so my brain has been a little mushy.
As for the cover…
Just got the final on this and I'm very excited. My first wolf shifter book will be out at Loose Id in less than three weeks. (October 19th)
Huge props go out to cover artist Valerie Tibbs for creating this wonderful cover.

Saturday Snippet – Villains
This week's theme is Villains. One of my favorite things to write. I've chosen a snippet from my latest release, Slave to Pleasure. Cirdan is my villain and this is not the first time I've written about him. He can also be found in Dragon's Fate and Taken by Tarot. His story will be coming next in the Taken series and I look forward to torturing him.
Excerpt:
"Aren't you a pretty sight in the night, cousin?"
Nissa jerked at the cold mocking voice, knowing full well who stood behind her. The man who'd stolen her from the only home she'd ever known and thrown her to the wolves had returned.
Unsure what he planned she moved slowly as she turned so as not to trigger any violence in her direction. As the anger in her swelled so did the magic and it was broadcast to everyone in the clearing. She spied many men with weapons surrounding her whilst Cirdan stood wearing a cocky smile she longed to slap from him.
"What are you doing here?" She tried to keep the contempt from her voice, but her hatred made it impossible.
"Is that any way to welcome family? Didn't your mother teach you better manners than that?"
"Leave my mother out of this and tell me what you want. You've already sold me and as you can see I've been collared appropriately." She stood tall stretching her neck and tilting so the gold sparkled in the bright moonlight.
"And judging from the marks on your body you've either been a very bad girl or you've quickly grown to love pain." He emphasized the word pain with a sensual magic undertone that whispered across her skin, sending a frightened shiver down her spine. Obviously pain turned him on, probably in a sick and twisted fashion, but either way she needed to avoid the topic with him.
"I wear the hunters' collar as required by the Fae. What more do you want from me? Haven't you done enough?" She really hoped she wouldn't regret the question.
"Hardly. In fact I've been far too soft with you. And in return you broke the law when you ran away. It's not just the hunters who've been looking for you."
"I've already atoned for my grievances with my owners. It hardly seems your place to interfere at this point." Cirdan's eyes flashed hot and angry at her words. She should have watched what she said to him, but her hatred festered just below the surface and seeing him again did little to ease her.
"You really do seem to have an issue with authority, don't you?" He stepped close enough to touch her, running a fingertip down the side of her face. Revulsion settled into her stomach leaving her nauseous and anxious for an escape. She was so lost in her disgust she almost missed his attack.
His opposite hand flew up and arched toward her cheek, but the flicker of movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention. She grabbed his wrist, applied extreme pressure to its weak points and stopped the blow mere inches from her face.
She didn't doubt he was stronger than her, but she had him in a grip that weakened him and could put him on his knees if she wanted to. Dear Goddess did she want to, but his men moved forward with swords drawn to protect him.
"Don't you ever dare to touch me again unless you want to die. I have plenty of respect for those who deserve it." She spat in his face and at the same time released him. He stumbled back a step or two and his guards moved in, surrounding her. Some of them so close the tips of their swords nicked at the skin of her neck.
"Well, you're a lot stronger than I expected, I'll give you that. Too bad you don't have the smarts to go with it. Why is it the dumb ones end up with the strongest magic?"

Off To The Fair
After a busy work day filled with what I hope will be lots of writing, I will be headed out to the Fetish Fair Fleamarket in Charlotte, NC. Both Friday night and all day Saturday I can be found in the vending room selling copies of some of my print books, including Lucas. As well as handing out goodies about some of my latest ebooks.
Tonight from 8 – 9 PM I will be participating in the Literary Foreplay event where I will be reading from my latest Slave to Pleasure. Many attending authors will be participating and it's hosted by the lovely Beth Wylde. I've never done a reading before and I hope not to embarrass myself.
I'm looking forward to the event. I had a lot of fun last year and expect this year to be even bigger and better.
Happy Friday!

Slave To Pleasure – BDSM, Fae AND Menage
So Slave To Pleasure released last week while I was gone to convention and this is honestly the first chance I've had to write about it. Bad, Bad Me!
So… I'm going to have a contest as a belated celebration. There will be three separate prizes to win including a $25 gift certificate to either All Romance eBooks or Amazon, an autographed print copy of Lucas from the Black Cougar series, and a free download copy of any book in my backlist. See details below.
Living in exile with her mother, Nissa a half human half fae, trains with the hope to one day become a hunter. When she goes into her first sexual heat six years too soon, she is kidnapped and sold to the highest bidder at the slave auction. Unwilling to give up her freedom for slavery, even if it is to two rugged and virile hunters, she takes desperate steps to escape.
She should have known she couldn't outrun the inevitable.
Roane and Erik have shared everything in life and plan for Nissa to be no exception. The steely innocence they recognize in her matches up to everything they've been looking for. Purchasing her at auction should have sealed the deal, but neither of them bargained on her ruthless determination or the secret she harbored.
Forced to face her weakness, Nissa agrees to a bargain. Seven days and nights of total submission, no questions asked and freedom is hers. Nissa is certain in the end she will want to leave and Roane and Erik are certain she wont.

It's been a while since I have had a new release and I didn't love that long dry spell. But somehow everything got weighted to the beginning of the year and the end of the year. So when the opportunity arose to try something new, I decided to go for it and self publish this story.
If you've read Dragon's Fate or Taken by Tarot, you'll recognize the world and even a few of the characters. If you haven't read those, no worries, Slave to Pleasure is a stand alone story that works fine without reading the others.
If I ever believed that self publishing was easy (I really didn't), boy would I have been wrong. It's a lot of work. I'm not one to ever be sloppy (hello, I'm a Virgo) or do something half ass so I went through a professional editor and proofreader. I went to a really good cover artist for the cover and spent hours getting everything else just right.
Oh and I should probably warn you that my fae are not the nice sweet people as often portrayed on television. They do what they want, when they want and with who they want. Rules are made to be broken for them and you can count on a REALLY hot book.
If you buy a copy I hope you'll go back after you've read it and leave a review. Reviews often help push someone undecided to give it a try. And you're always welcome to email me, I love hearing from readers.
Now for the contest:
I need your help to get the word out! It's easy to enter the contest and more than one on the list gets you extra entries.
1) Write a review and send me the link so I can verify
2) Post about the book on your blog (send me the link)
3) Talk up the story on a reader's loop (forward me the email)
4) Tweet or post something on your Facebook (send me the link)
**Contest runs through Sunday and I will choose three random winners and post them on Monday**

Purgatory News
[image error]First: I got a brand new review today on Rope Dreams, the first in the Purgatory series from You Gotta Read Reviews.
The review:
This short story was a wonderful read that was full of emotion. Katie is a character that many readers can relate to. She is smart and willing to embrace what she feels but sometimes she needs that extra push. Leo and Quinn are a great team and are ready to give Katie the push that she needs.
Rope Dreams is another good book in the Purgatory series. It can be read as a stand-alone but it is more enjoyable if you read all the books in the series. Eliza Gayle does a wonderful job of pulling the reader in and keeping them entertained all the way to the end. I love going back to Purgatory and seeing who is going to play next and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment in this series.
To read the full review click here.
Second: The bad news. The Purgatory series is going to be temporarily out of print as of September 30th. So if you'd like to read any of them soon, I'd encourage you to grab your copies now. All four of them are available at All Romance eBooks, Amazon, and Fictionwise.
They will return and as soon as I have re release information I will share.
Third: The better news. I am writing a 5th Purgatory story. I'm keeping the details close to the vest for now, but when it's completed I will definitely report more.
Once all five of them are available in ebook again, they will also be compiled into a Purgatory anthology for print. YAY!
So that's all I have for this Labor Day Monday. I've just returned from Dragon Con so I am in recovery and catch up mode for a couple of days but will be posting pics shortly.

Two Lips Gives Dirty Deeds 4 1/2
Wow, this review came across my email this morning from my publisher and I don't know how I missed it. Makes my day to get these.
Two Lips Reviews gives Dirty Deeds 4 1/2 Kisses!
Here's what they had to say:
Dirty Deeds by Eliza Gayle was one hot read. Between the demon lifestyle and the D/s lifestyle, my face flushed red. I was happy she met with the man who'd left her with unanswered questions, and finally got to fulfill those needs she'd been holding for him for so long. This is one short read I'd recommend to any number of readers.

T.V. Tuesday
Taking a quick break from the writing to say hi and write a little something on the blog. Since I haven't done a T.V. Tuesday post in a while I thought I'd give a shout out to a new show I'm watching.
You know how it is in the summer. The regular networks are all on reruns and the movie channels are playing the same 10 movies over and over again. So this just means I'm out there looking for something new or at least new to me.
Of course, I'm glued to HBO on Sunday night for True Blood. (Can't believe there is only one more show in the season.
Thankfully a friend of mine turned me onto a brand new show called Covert Affairs on USA. Her words were "It's fun." and I have to say I agree 100 percent.
Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly) stars as a brand spanking new CIA operative with an interesting cast of coworkers and family to keep her busy. The highlight of the show? Auggie her blind tech guy coworker.
Love love love Auggie.
And any show that will put a flogger in the hands of Oded Fehr, if even only for a few seconds, is my new favorite show. lol
Trust me. I searched valiantly for a picture of that scene with no luck. But he guest starred I think in the 5th episode and it was a good one.
If you try out Covert Affairs, let me know what you think.
Happy Tuesday.

New Cover Squeeee!
Just got the new cover for Bottoms Up last night and had to share. What do you think?
Here's the unofficial blurb:
Snooping is risky business…sometimes it pays off in unexpected ways.
Jenn has been in love with her best friend since college and despite their years apart she is determined to at least find out if he has any interest in her. When the opportunity opens up in the form of a job interview in his hometown, she jumps on a plane with a plan to see what happens.
Riley walked away from Jenn after college to explore and understand the dark side of him that harbored needs he knew she was too young to understand. They kept in touch and after years of exploration into his kinks, he's decided the time for hiding the truth from the woman he loved has come to an end.
When Jenn finds a bdsm book and a flyer for a local sex club in his condo, she is both shocked and intrigued. Riley catches her red-handed snooping through his things and dares her to give him and his lifestyle a chance. Two days to explore her potential submissive side and see where it leads.
With no hesitation and barely a thought to how far he might go, she jumps at the chance to prove she's the woman for him, even if it's just for the weekend.
No final word yet on a release date. That comes after we get through edits. But look for it this fall from Resplendence Publishing.
