So last night was my first release day signing. First midweek signing. I was nervous as hell. However, it went pretty well. Sold several books and most of them were to readers who hadn't read me before, so that's a good thing….assuming they like me… O_O

Two of the people I met were actually booksellers from a small, local town which is pretty cool. So… also made contacts. Double good. We got to talking and I said something about being in a fishbowl.

They laughed and I joked about...

Unplugging

I need a break.

It's official.

I'm not taking a total break, but I'm going to cut back on how much I'm on twitter and how much I'm hitting blogs right now.  It's too easy to get  caught up in the politics of writing, too easy to get caught up in the mess that the publishing industry is in…and it takes so much of my brain, there's too little left for writing.
