An excerpt from Charlotte McClain

Howdy guys… I'm busy playing catch up so I'm going to leave you all with an excerpt today… this is from Charlotte McClain and here's her site.

Spark of Desire

Excerpt:

Spark Of Desire by Charlotte McClain

He stalked to the hall and through the door that had been closed when he first arrived before realizing it was her bedroom. In the far corner sat her bed, shoved against the wall. With its high head and foot boards it seemed to have walls of its own.

Covered with an Indian patterned purple satin...

Beyond the Night…now available…

I was lucky enough to get an early read of this one (disclaimer: Jos gave it to me)… and it's good… strange twist on an old legend.  Loved it.

"That was a big-ass snake," Jade said, trying to keep her own breathing under

"A big-ass snake?" he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. They were dark

"Yeah. I don't like...

Crazy busy

Insanely busy with the writing projects and a related, but not a writing, and not entirely fun project. Oye. Busy busy.

So some links instead.
blog for Hunter's Need being one of their top books of the month.

I'm getting a slew of hits from people doing a search for this… "Nora Roberts ebooks for resale" and "Stephanie Meyer ebooks for resale" and guess what… you can't find master resale rights to those, because the authors own them and authors like to keep those rights. ...

Weird random Q of the day…

So… how important are clothes to you in a book?  Mai

Me, I couldn't care less, unless the clothing plays a really crucial part, and for me, crucial would be… "It's prom day, and there's a prom dress"  or "It's a wedding day, and there's a wedding dress."  Every day ordinary clothes?  I couldn't care less.

If it's a first date type of scene, yes, I'll probably make some mention of it, but I don't tend to discuss clothes a lot in books and when I see a lot of references to clothing in books I'm...

a real-life love story

About a week ago, I was watching my husband playing video games with my son.  It's the Wii Fit Plus, which comes with a 'skateboarding' game.

It brought back some memories.  My DH used to skateboard.  I can remember sitting on the curb and watching him when I was a kid.  I mentioned it on twitter and somebody asked me how long I've known him-how we'd met.

I've known him since I was ten or eleven.  My older brother used to skateboard with him.  I can remember watching them together and...

The ARC winners…

Okay, this was a hard decision…just remember, guys….you made promises, you gotta keep them.  Well, the table dancing doesn't have to hold, but in all seriousness, I do ask that you post a review to either a store like Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Powells, etc or if you are a blogger, your blog.  If you tweet, please tweet about it, too.

If you aren't sure you can do that, I do ask that you let me know in an email and I'll draw another winner.  I'm not doing this to be unfair, but as my ARCs are...
