Author Bio:
Fuzzy sock collector, martini connoisseur, baseball fanatic, and dandelion lover, author Jules Dixon is a living testament to the genius of sugar and caffeine being able to keep a human alive. She’s addicted to everything related to the amazing emotion of love, probably instigated by her own happily ever after of 25 years with her beer-brewing hubby. Their love story created a sassy, artistic daughter and a computer genius but ultra-sarcastic son.
Jules explores the rich psychology of sexual orientation, sexuality, choices, and conflicts of high school, college, and new adult characters with sizzle and humor in her novels and novellas. She’s a busy writer, and she loves it!

Excerpt:
The door was open to the other bedroom, and when I reached to close it I heard the rustling of covers in the room. The glow of the moon drowned Gray’s room in silver light. I watched him adjust the pillow under his head as he stared up at the ceiling. His warm liquor-colored eyes glinted kaleidoscopic colors in the moonlight. I started to pull the door closed, and his eyes met mine. I froze. Parts of my gut that hadn’t experienced the waves of anticipation in years twisted like a there was a hurricane inside of me.
Without speaking he scooted over in his bed and threw the covers back. My brain willed my body to move into the room, and in seconds I was next to his bed.
“One more night, Izaac.”
“I’m afraid it’ll only complicate what I’ve made a mess of, Gray.”
“I’m good at unraveling complications. Come here, cowboy.”
He was good at unraveling my willpower, too.
I slipped into the bed. “I wish I could offer you more than tonight.”
“I wish for a lot of things, but I’m not asking for anything more than this night.”
What words couldn’t express our bodies would. Gentle and unhurried kisses prolonged our progress. Seven days with Grayson had more passion and connection than the last five years of my life. Those years had been the abysmal pit of repentance. Every move I made was calculated to prevent and eliminate relationships with people, but now I had people who wanted to have me in their lives. I was going to lose the most important person I’d ever had in my life.
“Gray?” I whispered in his ear.
“What?”
“I could still be a good guy to you.”
“Izaac, it’s okay to still care about Quinton, but I won’t compete with a ghost for your heart. It’s too hard to wonder if I’m the one in your mind at any given time or if you’ll leave when a memory of him overwhelms you.”
“I’ve held on for so long that I think maybe I’m just a living ghost myself.”
“Then let me show you that you’re alive.”
His stubble abraded across the skin of my chest, and I fisted his hair as he explored every dip and inch down my stomach. If I couldn’t give him more, I could give him tonight. He deserved more, but this would have to do.

Out Now! Christmas at the Castle by Jenny Kane @jennykaneauthor ~ Release Blitz

BlurbChristmas at the Castle is a seasonal treat from Jenny Kane, featuring much-loved characters from her bestselling novel Another Cup of Coffee.
When hotshot businesswoman Alice Warren is asked to organise a literary festival at beautiful Crathes Castle in Scotland, her ‘work mode’ persona means she can’t say no – even though the person asking is her ex, Cameron Hunter.
Alice broke Cameron’s heart and feels she owes him one – but her best friend Charlie isn’t going to like it. Charlie – aka famous author Erin Spence – is happy to help Alice with the festival…until she finds out that Cameron’s involved! Charlie suffered a bad case of unrequited love for Cameron, and she can’t bear the thought of seeing him again.
Caught between her own insecurities and loyalty to her friend, Charlie gets fellow author Kit Lambert to take her place. Agreeing to leave her London comfort zone – and her favourite corner in Pickwicks Café – Kit steps in. She quickly finds herself not just helping out, but hosting a major literary event, while also trying to play fairy godmother – a task which quickly gets very complicated indeed...
Available to buy from Amazon, and to read as part of the Kindle Unlimited Programme: http://mybook.to/christmasatthecastle
ExtractCharlie pushed open the door of The Deeside Bookshop. Instead of being greeted by John, she was surprised to see a much younger man behind the counter. Having never known the shop without John in it, Charlie was immediately concerned. ‘Um, hello, I wondered if I could speak to John, is he OK?’ ‘He’s very OK, thank you. Soaking up the sun in New Zealand in fact.’ ‘Oh.’ Not sure what to do, Charlie decided she’d dive straight in anyway. If John trusted this man to run the shop in his absence, then he must be alright. ‘Could I have a quick chat about the literary festival at Crathes? I know Ms Warren has already approached the shop, but I…’ The man, who Charlie guessed must be in his late thirties, ran an exasperated hand through his short hair. ‘I already told your colleague I can’t help. What Ms Warren is asking of me is not cost-effective. Although I wish you luck with the festival, the tactic of sending her prettier colleague to get me to change my mind is not going to work!’ Prettier colleague? Charlie felt thrown. No one ever thought she was prettier than Alice. ‘I assure you no… tactics are in play. I’m only helping out today because I’m a friend of one of the other organisers, and I have a more sensible and, I think, more realistic proposition for you than Alice did. I will tell you about it if you would like to hear it; if not, I’ll leave you in peace to stare around your customer-free shop!’ Rather taken aback by the edge to her tone, the tension in Charlie’s shoulders unknotted a little as, to her amazement, the man began to laugh. Placing the books he’d been holding on the counter he said, ‘I’m sorry, forgive me for being abrupt. My name is Gervase Potter; I bought John out a few weeks ago. This little empire is now mine.’ Tilting his head to one side, giving Charlie the impression he was enjoying the view, he added, ‘I would very much like to hear your proposal. How about we discuss it tonight over a drink at Scott Skinner’s? I haven’t made it there yet, and I hear it’s a nice pub.’ With her brain privately grappling with the concept of being asked out for a drink by a handsome man who liked books, Charlie replied, ‘It is nice. I often go to Skinner’s to write when I need a change of scene from my desk at home. Oh, I’m Charlie, by the way. Charlie Davies.’ ‘I’m pleased to meet you, Charlie. So, you write?’ ‘Yes.’ Charlie pointed to the bookshelves, ‘I’m over there somewhere.’ ‘You are? Who are you, then? I mean, who else are you?’ ‘Erin Spence.’ ‘The Unbrave Heart Erin Spence?’ Charlie’s pulse started to beat faster. He didn’t immediately connect me with The Love-Blind Boy. ‘Yes. Yes that was my first novel.’ ‘I love that book.’ ‘You’ve read it?’ Charlie was shocked. ‘Forgive me, but you don’t look like you’d be into women’s fiction.’‘I’m not as a rule, but my ex-girlfriend had the audiobook and we played it on a long journey once or twice. I enjoyed it. You have a very perceptive view of the male side of things.’ ‘Really?’ Charlie could feel herself blushing, ‘Thanks. It’s kind of you to say so.’ ‘Not at all. That drink tonight, then? Eight o’clock? With a meal as well, maybe?’ ‘To talk about my idea for the festival?’ ‘I’m making no promises, because I think I’d rather talk about you.’ Charlie’s head buzzed with contradictory thoughts. Had she been right to agree to go out with Gervase? Only this morning she’d been thinking about how she felt about Cameron being back, and now she was going on a date with someone else. A part of her knew she’d only said yes in the hope that Alice and Cameron might see them. But so what if they did? Cameron isn’t going to be jealous, and I don’t want him any more anyway. And Alice wouldn’t notice in her current mode if I walked around naked with a pineapple on my head. A new thought entered Charlie’s head. Was there any point in going out with another man until Alice had gone home? Gervase would only have to see them standing next to each other, and it wouldn’t be her that he wanted to take for dinner anymore. Suddenly, Charlie stopped moving. She knew she was being ridiculous, but somehow the thought of how Alice was always going to be there to eclipse her wouldn’t shift...

Be Warned: spanking and light BDSM Where You Can Find Far from BlindAmazon | Evernight | All Romance Ebooks | BookStrandThe first review is in! 5-stars from Liz's Reading Life "This story is another sizzling creation from SJ Maylee."

Far from Blind Excerpt: He closed the door behind them and the distinct click of a lock tumbling over echoed around the room. Maybe no showing yesterday was a mistake. If they’d had any chance at all, she’d blown it for sure. How could she expect him to trust her now? The air, thick with unsaid words, closed in around her. It was time to take care of business and escape before she embarrassed herself. “This must be for you.” She held out the envelope. “Thank you.” He took it from her and tore it open, revealing a piece of paper. His cheeks pulled into a little smile, then it disappeared. He maneuvered around his desk and sat. “Do you like me, Candy?” “Of course I do.” She clasped her arms around her middle. The bigger question is what he thought of her before Club Blind and now. “Then why didn’t you show last night?” He pressed his lips together and kept his gaze on her. “To be honest…” “That’s all I’ll ever expect from you.” “I’ll give it to you straight. You don’t want a girl like me.” She blew out a breath as if it could help her raging pulse. Never in a million years would she have guessed she’d want a man to tell her she was wrong. “Is that what you believe?” “Yes.” She kept her focus on him. He gave nothing away. His expression didn’t change, only his fingers tapped on his desk which was irritatingly neat. “Then we have a problem.” He stood. “We’d agreed to meet. I kept up my end.” “And I didn’t.” She blew out a deep breath. “Come here.” She didn’t move. She didn’t take her next breath either. He pointed to the ground in front of him. “Don’t make me ask twice.” She jumped and then slipped around his desk. Damn, he really did smell good. No matter whether it was aftershave or him, the deep woodsy scent turned here on. Everything about Brad turned her on. “Did I ask you to join me at Mistress Charlie’s yesterday?” “Yes, but—” “Do you believe I’m a liar?” “No.” “I don’t think you are either.” He tapped under her chin, lifting her focus back to him. “But I don’t believe you’re being honest with me right now and that’s a problem.” “I’m sorry I didn’t show yesterday.” “I appreciate the admission, but I can’t let the action and the attitude go unpunished.” “What, are you going to spank me?” She chuckled. “I think it’s time.” He tucked some of her hair behind her ear and his touch lingered along the side of her neck over her ugly mole. “Don’t you agree?” “Agreed, Sir.” She leaned back on his desk. It was the only thing holding her up. “Safeword?” “Red.” “Very good. Bend over my desk, please.” “Right here?” She looked around his office. She didn’t find any windows to the hall, but his windows facing the next building were wide open. “You really are pissed.” The corner of his lips lifted slightly. “The windows are treated. No one can see in here.” “Oh.” “You’re stalling.” “Can you blame me?” “You do know I’m an accountant, right?” He tugged on her hair. “We like to add.”

Hot-Blooded Lust (Federal Agent Chronicles Book 3) by Ravyn Rayne @BlushingRavyn ~ Author Interview with this Prolific Author!

EXCERPT
“Anytime you want to climb on that pole again, Kai, I’m game.” Joel grinned. Wiping that smile off his face seemed near impossible. He’d been teasing me about it since the moment I climbed on top of the bar and danced.
“You’re never going to let me live it down, are you?” I actually didn’t mind, not that I’d tell Joel. My cheeks burned remembering that night.
Although I was just doing my job, I knew how turned on it made him. If it weren’t for the fact we were in a bar on duty, I’d have given him a lap dance. Joel’s tongue would have probably hung out of his mouth. Being an FBI Agent was tough work, most of the time. The few moments where I could have some fun and let loose, why shouldn’t I?
Joel’s lips trailed a soft path of kisses across my jaw. I curled beneath the sheets of his mattress. “Joel, we can’t.” Though I wanted to, I wasn’t quite comfortable with it. The reason had nothing to do with him being my boss. We were over that. “Your kids are in the next room and the walls are thin.”
“They’re asleep.”
I laughed. “Yeah, for now. You’re loud. There is no way it won’t wake them up. The neighbors at my place give me slack when I run into them getting the mail.”
Joel whined and reached for my hip, pulling me against him. “Then why did you insist on sneaking over? You’re such a tease.”
“I am not!” I playfully shoved his chest. I tried my best to keep my voice down to a minimum. It’s not that I didn’t like his kids, I just thought it was too early for us to be doing weekends together. Which is why I opted to sneak over after they were in bed. I didn’t think ahead to the fact that we’d have to keep our voices down and that Joel was a loud moaner during sex. Not that I was particularly quiet, but he had the tendency to make sure everyone could hear us.
“Want to play a game?” he asked. His thumb stroked my hip, inching my shirt as the pads of his fingers grazed bare skin.
“Like Monopoly?” I wasn’t in the mood for board games.
Joel leaned his head forward, chuckling softly. He reached for me, brushing his lips against mine. I dragged my fingers into his dark, thick hair. “I had something more adult in mind.”
“Oh?” My hands paused their ministrations, trying to image what Joel would have thought up. He struck me more as a strip poker kind of guy, but we were already half-naked. Where was the fun in that? Joel climbed out of bed and headed for his closet. I whimpered in protest. “Where are you going?
I’m right here.”
“I know a game that will be fun for both of us.” He brought one of his work ties out from the closet.
“If you’re planning on tying me to the bed, you know we have handcuffs for that.”
“No need. Unless of course you’re naughty. Close your eyes,” he said, and I did so, feeling the tie cover my eyes as he secured it at the back of my head. I was blindfolded. This was new for us.
My heart skipped a beat. I trusted Joel, but it still made me nervous. “What do you plan on doing?” I asked.
“Kai, you complained that I’m loud when we have sex. I’m going to make sure that you’re the one making all the noises. Better keep your voice down, I’m not sure I locked the bedroom door."Title: Grave Misfortune (Palace Secrets Book 3) Author: Ravyn Rayne Publisher: Blushing Books Genre: Historical Romance, Romantic EroticaBOOK SYNOPSIS

EXCERPT
“Come with me.” Vincent’s tone is sharp and short. “You broke the rules, Helene. There are consequences for not following orders.” He grabs me by the elbow and whisks me into a nearby room, kicking the door shut behind us.
I slip from his grasp as he blocks my exit. Consequences? Is he out of his mind? I should have known not to trust him and come to court. Not that I felt there was much choice but I could have lied to the king or told him I had a husband to stay with. It might have begged more questions but those I could have skirted. “Let me go!”
“Not until you’ve been taken over my knee.”
I scoff at his words. He’s not serious. “What are you going to do, spank me?” I’m half-joking. Rowland wasn’t a prince but he never would have had the strength to discipline me.MEET THE CHARACTERS IN THE SERIES ON THE AUTHOR's WEBSITEAbout the Author
