Joanne Harris is also known as Joanne M. Harris

Joanne Harris is an Anglo-French author, whose books include fourteen novels, two cookbooks and many short stories. Her work is extremely diverse, covering aspects of magic realism, suspense, historical fiction, mythology and fantasy. She has also written a DR WHO novella for the BBC, has scripted guest episodes for the game ZOMBIES, RUN!, and is currently engaged in a number of musical theatre projects as well as developing an original drama for television.
In 2000, her 1999 novel CHOCOLAT was adapted to the screen, starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. She is an honorary Fellow of St Catharine's College, Cambridge, and in 2022 was awarded an OBE by the Queen.

Secondly, "The little book of Chocolat" and I came across to the recipe of "Vianne's chocolat" and one of the ingredients is "red chilli" I was wondering what kind of chilli are you refering to? Because I am mexican, and here we have a large variety of "red chillis" and it's quite vague that ingredient. For me at least. Thanks in advance!! Hi there! Hi Joanne,

Thank you for being my friend. I see that you are from Barnsley, well, I'm from Morecambe. So, we're not too far from one another. I hope you had a great Christmas and a even better new year. Last year I published my first novel The Pocket Watch Killer. Hopefully one day you'll get to read it and if you do please let me know what you think. Well, my imaginary friends and I are busy writing, so, we must get on. I hope everything goes well for you in this new year and you have a great time doing whatever you do.
