Welcome to May’s Lunar readings. How was the New Moon for you? We’ve also just celebrated Beltane, another seasonal sabbat, with a big old shift forward.   Summer is even closer, and the changes or enhancements Beltane brings can be powerful.  Not just in love, old, new, or future, but in other areas.  It’s a time of renewal, reviewing and refocussing yourself.

So, when I drew these cards I put the question to them, ‘What advice do you have for us at this special time?’ and without further mischief I give you your cards.

Taurus – Full Moon in Leo

During the Month of May dear Taurus, you are told ‘Don’t let Pride get in your way! The Full Moon comes into Leo bringing potentially a cheerful and vibrant time, there is a greater sense of confidence, it is a time to shine. Taurus for you this is really good news. But here I add a tad of a cautionary note, this requires balance, because what could happen is, it may make you a little too bold. You may tread on the toes of other people around you, or come across as a little over enthusiastic or insensitive. But forewarned is forearmed.  And the main message that comes with this card is it’s time to feel proud.

An apt card for a Taurean who can dig their heels in when they really want to, or when they don’t want to lose face.   Think of the situation you are in, are you dealing with it from your heart, or ego?  Leo energy comes from the heart which speaks of courage, bravery and love.  Has a deadlock developed?  The way to overcome such obstacles is to love more, and thoughts for the greater good are the solution.  This could help you deal with all your relationships.

So, to sum up be proud, be bold but keep your balance.  As a result of you finding your courage you may find it in yourself to call time on situations that have come to their natural end. It will be a bearable ending, but a necessary door that has to be shut. On a bonus note you will find your creative juices flowing, so whatever areas you have felt like pursuing you are being told this is the right time.  Keep it positive and loving and the outcomes could be amazing.

Gemini – New Moon in Aquarius

Aquarius is the sign of innovation, technology, and the advance of the human race.  A very individualistic sign, it can appear detached, scientific rather than spiritual and even inflexible.  Being more of an intellectual sign, Aquarians find it easy to detach emotionally.  When you get this card you are being told it is a time of detachment, and dropping ‘the norms’ and ‘coventions’ would be a good approach.

Aquarius is about progress and modernity, so this the time to move forwards.   The New Moon in Aquarius means, ‘Don’t look back change is on its way’, and it’s coming fast. Whether you get the change you want to happen depends on your faith in it, and how much effort you are willing to put in to get it.  You have to perfect a particularly difficult balancing act, where you are independent in manifesting your dreams, but still connected to those you care about.  Time may be of the essence when this Lunar card appears, because the Aquarius energy has an urgent buzz to it.  There is a sense in releasing yourself from the past, in order to free yourself up for your future.

Look at the people around you, this is why you are being asked to step back and work alone at this time, do a little evaluation of the people in your life.  Therein could lie the answers to freeing up movement.  Also allow yourself to be more creative in your thinking, let yourself go, express yourself.  Think karmically about how you have been behaving, we need to give willingly in order to receive as willingly.

Cancer – Full Moon in Sagittarius

Cancer you are an emotional sign, and prone to over-thinking. Micromanaging or obsessing about something will only hold you back, and create a stressful situation where there shouldn’t be one.  Are you so hooked into the planning and idea’s phase that you are putting of getting on with actually doing something about making your goal happen? It’s good to think things through, but sometimes you need to step back and look at the bigger picture.

What do you then see and feel about your current situation? What’s the best thing about it? Maybe now is a good time to be thankful for your blessings, even if you are not exactly where you want to be, it is where you need to be for now.  Like the Fool card in tarot this card is also a reminder that we can take a few risks and proceed with less assurance or guarantees in life. Keep an open mind about what’s best for you; You may surprise yourself by what you learn.

How about a mini-break? A time out, that gives you the time and space to lean back and people watch? You’ll regain your focus, bat away the things that have been fogging your mind, and regain your confidence. You’ll come back recharged and ready to be a winner.  You can also take this time to let the people in your life know how much you care. Have interactive conversations with people you love spending time with, for the things you will hear will be inspirational and supportive.

Leo – Full Moon in Aquarius

Leo show the world your true self! This month whatever you have been hiding, whoever you have been hiding it from, in a good way, will now come out.  And if anyone protests, well perhaps they are not right to be in your world, warts and all.  Have you been compromising your identity, to ‘fit in’, and Aquarian would never do this?  You are a Leo, larger than life, but not always yourself. Be both, you are magnificent.

Do you feel the need to detach a bit from a particular area in your life, to give you thinking time?  Who is keeping who at arm’s length, you or them? Don’t fight this natural distance, it’s a healthy space to take stock of things, and regroup with a better plan for the future.  Things will be different but change is good in this case. Going back to the first paragraph, be yourself in all relationships, and they will evolve to suit the real you more.

You will become aware of your own feelings, don’t let the negative or comfortable ones hold you back, be prepared to move on.  In doing so you will see the beauty around and in you, your world will seem a brighter place to be.  Don’t let your head guide you, on this occasion listen to your heart. The feelings of others will matter to you now, and you may be a shoulder to cry on for in general you are giving, releasing love and as a result big thing could happen.

Virgo – New Moon in Aries

And ‘Action!’ Virgo, the rehearsal is over, the scene is set. Go! Aries is a ‘Director’, of a card to get, you are about to take the first steps on a new path, and you’re heading the right direction. Aries says, ‘Yes’, something positive is about to happen.  Even if you are saying, ‘Wh’oooahh’, but I’m no-where near where I need to be, maybe not, but you’re well on well way. With true grit, assertiveness and a dollop of courage you’ll go further forward along the Virgo brick road.  The only ‘but’, here is don’t rush, and don’t push people out the way to get to where you’re going.

Have a little talk to yourself, don’t let your mind let you give up on this, it’s not an option.  This project will manifest within the next year, so make a solid plan. To help you along with this, someone will be coming into your life who will prove to be influential.

This is a time of commitment, hard work, but work that is so worth you doing, even if you tire, or feel despondent, you are told just have a rest.  If there was ever a time to note the phases of the moon for the next 13 moons, it’s now.  Look at the phases from dark to full, and look out for eclipses.  Make a note of the moons in your horoscope, work with them.  For moon guidance is the key here, and that is another way of saying of going with the flow, when it’s time to work like crazy you put in the hours you need, when it’s time to sit back and let your hard work develop, do so.  If you are good at manifesting, now is the time to put your skills into practice!

Libra – Waxing Moon

Libra can you feel the energy around you building up?  The force and speed of it, will be coming at you from behind, and pulling at you from the front.  This is the effect of the Waxing Moon.  As in a Cauldron reading with our Wiccascopes, the gathering moon, is adding ingredients from you, those in your life who affect you, and the outside world.  This builds up full of hope, wishing, anticipation, perhaps fear and yes endings, but it’s about the ultimate result, the opportunity this recipe or moon spell gives us.

In this case it is a very positive omen, you can create the reality you dream of, it will take some work and like Virgo you’re not there yet.  But as energy rises up, Emotions are building too.  Look at your self-confidence and self-belief systems.  Be honest Libra what is your goal now? Mediate to gain more focus on your dreams, then you can make a brave commitment to take more pragmatic steps.

You are headed in the right direction, you do have potential, and yes this can happen for you. The moon appears to be slightly bigger and rounder as it is more and more empowered each night.  This is you right now. As each day goes by so are you more empowered, so make the most of such a force of nature and make those plans, then act upon them.  Go, Go, Go!

Scorpio – Waning Moon

Dear Scorpio what do you need to release? As much as the waxing moon gathers, a waning moon let’s things go, so that by the time it’s a dark moon, you are left with the reality and truth.  When the Moon is waning it’s not time for action, there’s nothing more you can do but wait to see how things pan out.  A good time to relax. And let go of things that you in heart of hearts know have served their purpose.

The waning moon points to what’s falling away.  Life goes in cycles or phases there’s a time to do and a time not to do.  Sometimes we to rest and release.  Regardless of what the real moon is doing, a situation has reached a peak, for good or for bad, and it’s time for the you to slow down.  What do you need to release?   Almost definitely something from the situation you’re going through.  This card is potentially very positive but it can also suggest and ending means movement for you. If you are fighting for something, with little results, take a more relaxed approach.

So, in essence it’s not a good time to start new projects, you need to create the space to allow that to happen.  In letting go of something, you may also have to apologise to someone, which will release you from a situation.  Perhaps remove a feeling of guilt and restore the karmic balance.  You too can also work with the moon cycles, flow, be organic.

Sagittarius – Full Moon in Aries

Sagittarius ‘Fire!’ Aries brings supercharged energy is here. Which will bring the explosive end to a situation. Have you been a little egotistical lately though?  Are you fighting over something with someone else? Be careful you could both destroy the thing you are fighting over.  Guidance is to both put down your end of the rope and sit down.  Wait and think. This would be a good time to talk to each other, if you have hurt someone’s feelings, are they due an apology or explanation.

Try a different approach if things have got a bit heated, kindness, politeness, niceness this is what will work in your favour. Whilst some assertiveness is great, ensure it’s not aggression. This situation calls for reducing tension by finding a more peaceful place for now. Think of a toddler ‘wanting’ and acting up, take a time out. You need to have more fun.

The Full Moon combined with Aires is super-fiery, emotions may run very high.  But there’s a great excitement about what lays ahead for you. If you are writing or texting anything, choose your words carefully, in conversations think before you speak.  You could sound harsh and too direct. But knowing this can ensure that you can embrace the positive energy with this card to use it to put into your projects and schemes.  You can burn it off with a little sports or physical recreation.

Capricorn – New Moon in Taurus

Taurus are you focusing on finances this month, well you will be. You could also be examining your self-worth.  Well potentially you could have whatever you want. They key to your success is self-belief and faith that you can do it.  Now we’re going to talk ‘laws of attraction’, appreciate your own value, and add something to it, you will attract your own abundance accordingly. Taurus is also associated with Venus and this cards also has a new moon energy, so now is a good time for you to also make a 12-month financial plan like Virgo, another earth sign.

Did I say Venus? I give you new romance, and developments in existing romances. So, if a relationship has been struggling, or you’ve been looking for romance then romance could take a turn for the better. Time to relax, tune into your primal side, massage, or relaxation. Be clear on what you value, and what you’re aiming for, or ‘who’, if we’re talking romance. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to operate from a place of inner peace.

This may be a good time to start a nest egg or savings fund, it is o.k to talk about finances here, but you are getting your house in order here, to make you feel more comfortable.  Which is the Taurean way.  A roof over your head, a meal in your stomach, and 4 cosy walls to keep your family safe. This is the time to work with this energy and earn the money you want, so can have the creature comforts you want.

Aquarius – New Moon in Pisces

Oh, hello you Aquarius child, how apt you get this card, the New Moon in Pisces asks you to Meditate and contemplate. I bring you dreams, romance, harps, violins and poetry. A new start is heading your way, and it could leave you a little dizzy. There might be some confusion and disappointment if you feel you’ve been here before and you have an idea of what is about to happen.

But, think positively, be grounded and strong, ensure that you’re in a good place, then wish hard because the words you say out loud from your soul and heart could help bring about the manifestation of your dreams.   In other words, to get a positive outcome from this onslaught of Piscean emotion, you have to steer yourself in the right direction. This is the last zodiac sign, and the new moon in Pisces suggests an eleventh-hour attempt to achieve your dreams.

Logically thinking is of no use to you now, you will have to feel your way around this month, let your solar plexus and your sacral chakra override your head.  If you are a little scared, stare your fear in the face, and push it out the way, it may be holding you back.  A situation that may have caused you some disappointment and heartache, is now getting the healing and closure it needs. This is also a karmic card to get, be honest with people and yourself.  Don’t let rose-tint glasses hide someone’s true intentions.  Do all this and you won’t be so dizzy, yet enjoying a new lovely time.

Pisces – Cardinal Moon

Pisces you are being encouraged to have courage, and make the first move in a situation this month.  Whenever this card appears it signifies that new is about to start and you are quite going to be in charge of it. Be bold, a little bossy, perhaps.  Don’t wait for it to happen, make it happen. Cardinal signs are self-starting, determined and great organisers. This card suggests that you’re going to need to be all those attributes to achieve your goal.

If you’re are having worrying thoughts about something, don’t, do something about it instead.  Be assertive, not aggressive, assertive.  Stand up and speak up for yourself.  If you really believe in what you want, and want it to work out, you have to become a leader. And whilst your emotions have to be followed, you have to follow them unemotionally.  As a leader.

However, in trying to be bold, stop and think, keep your feet firmly planted on the ground and plant them one in front of the other at a steady, assured pace.  Running could prove reckless.  By taking this methodical approach you will come into your own power, and find that by owning your own space, is actually quite nice.

Aries- South Node

Aries you message this month is ‘Don’t let your past hold your back’. The South Node is a karmic point, as is the North Node.  This node relates the past, recent and very, very distant, it is suggested even past lives.   Whatever is going on and whatever you’re considering, are you still dealing with it as you always have? We all have ‘go to’, place where we process our issues, but by repeating old patterns, you can get very stuck.

The South Node card signals that the relationship or situation you are wondering about may have become stifling, or unhealthy.  There may be a sense of release here, of someone releasing themselves from you or you from them. There are changes to be made, that could mean departures for you, or making necessary changes to make staying where you are happier, safer and more evenly flowing.

This is a time to release yourself from the past, as the saying goes, ‘Do as you always have, and get what you’ve always got’.  The South Node identifies areas in your life where you may be holding too tightly. It suggests that by being more relaxed, and flexible in your thinking you will achieve success and feel a whole lot happier. So Aries, embrace the gentle energy that comes with node, you will feel relaxed, your approach to planning and carrying out your plans will flow a lot more easily.

Mercury enters your 2nd on the 6th and just two days later and for the first time in your adult lifetime, will meet Uranus in here. New ideas around money and how to generate and handle your cash rush in heralding possibly financial freedom. So bear this in mind this week as ruler Mercury enters your 9th and on the 8th encounters Uranus in here for the first time in your adult lifetime. What happens now may be unexpected or it may be something you have set in motion yourself. It may require you to leave your comfort zone, head out into the unknown or set you on a new learning journey. No matter how it presents itself – please be open minded. It has your best interests in mind no matter what it looks like. Your 9th is your house of expansion and yes, freedom. Unexpected journeys and moves may feature. Think Bilbo Baggins. Just like Bilbo, opportunity may come in disguise.

The era of being told ‘no’, of being rejected or rejecting ended back in March when Uranus left your 7th of all things loved by Librans. Balance has been restored to the Force in your part of the universe. Can you feel it? How are you using it? Hopefully you are coming from a new sense of self-worth and surety. This week sees Mercury arrive in your asset driven and all powerful and sexy 8th. On the 8th, it will meet with Uranus in here for the first time in your adult lifetime. Provided you know what you want and you know you deep in your soul you are worth it, someone or something wants to say ‘Yes’ to you now. Look to any lingering fears you may have about having what you want. Sometimes the thing we desire most is what also scares us most. Ensure this is not the case. Be powerful enough to say ‘Yes’ back.

Ruler Venus in its ruling 7th and retro Jupiter in your 3rd, lend a helping hand with that affirmative as they align on the 10th. You could have been presented with this choice or decision before but now your answer (or their answer for that matter) is very different this time around. It could be that you have spent too much time thinking about stuff that is out of your hands….for example, how you are seen by others, what others may want from you etc. Setting goals and making plans will put your back into the driving seat of your life.

You don’t always need a detailed masterplan or a super-specific strategy. As the saying goes ‘the best laid plans go to waste’. If you are too rigid and pedantic, then you are not leaving room for intuition, unexpected change, or input from the divine. Another common mistake is to bite off more than you can chew and try to change every aspect of your life at once. We see this every year with New Year’s Resolution.

The guidance from Spirit is to keep it simple – maybe focus on just one life-aspect that you want to improve, and then after a few months move onto another. Start with some soft and fun exercises, to get clear on what you what to manifest – for example vision boarding or writing. Don’t ask for what you think you can get, ask for what you really want! Then expand this by writing down your intentions in the present tense, as if you are already experiencing it. So for example – what does your ideal working day look like? Very warm greetings to you all, I write this during a spell of lovely sunshine, and the local cockerel that lives over the road, is in fine singing voice.  He starts early by the way.

This week I feel brings the promise of  happy and positive outcomes, and that there has been a great energy shift.  Forwards is the only way. This is also the Week of Beltaine (pronounced beall-te-nye). Also known as May Day where there are many celebrations around the world, it is a day of honouring creation. Relating to the base chakra it calls to our primal urges, brings us together, gives couples who jumped the broom last year to consider if they want to carry out another handfasting ceremony this year or part company. A time of conception, creation and the new seeds of life. A time when we truly go from the darkness into the light.

Enjoy this mid-week celebration, get a bright coloured plant and give place of honour in your home, light a candle and give thanks for all you have, and look with anticipation at your prospects. Have a lovely week embrace your senses and look forward to your futures!

Taurus – The Sword

Powerful is your card this week Taureans, for those of you eating Birthday cake and considering your life.  What better card to get than the Sword! It relates to making changes, speaking your mind, perhaps not as pointedly as the Athame, it has a wider target area, and can cut through bigger obstacles. Don’t get me wrong the Athame is a pure concentration of energy, but the Sword, there’s no hiding it, people will it before they see you.  So, what you do with it, has to be seriously considered, for like the Athame, there are consequences from actions taken.

I don’t think you will have much trouble deciding where to direct your energy this week.  The knowledge you’ve been accruing until this point will help formulate a quick, but very cunning plan.  There is a gap however between your base idea and where you want to be, so you’ve really got to reach into your mind, and stretch out your  arms out to fully embrace what you have and where you want to take it.  It may require bravery, or facing a fear that lies somewhere inside you.  But you are a Taurean, and when you find your courage you become a bear.

It’s time to go for what you want, the big dream, the plan you had in your head for ages, but ‘it didn’t feel right’, it is right!  You are a funny sign, there is such an earthbound energy with you, so strong for others, a gentle ‘rock’, but when it comes to yourself, you sell yourself way too short.  But now you are going to wield that sword, say your words, speak your truth, and it’s about time!  Time to be celebrated in hour own right, and be seen and noticed.  A week of truths, facing fears, and realising that your own power can help you realise your dreams.

Cancerians warm wishes to all, this week I give you the Mirror.  And your focus comes from your 3rd eye, to tie this in with 6 senses you are asked to tune into your 6th sense.  There is a sense of clarity that comes with this period in your life, you’ll be able to know and find things out, by just, ‘knowing’.  Seeing things that appear as visual clues, you’ll be able to work out what may occur if a certain course of action is taken.

If you’ve had a tough time at all recently, you may find yourself at peace, or that bitter experiences are sweetened or old chapters are closed for good; in order that you are able to feel this love!  In fact, if you’ve had an argument with someone you hold dear, and things have just got stuck, when they move forwards you may just be taking the next step.  A friendship could turn to romance, a romance could turn to a longer-term commitment.

So, Easter is out the way, summer is coming maybe you’ve had a holiday on your mind, yep I’m talking about getting healthy and ditching bad habits, and reviewing your life style.  But you’ll do so with gusto, and not feel it is a labour of love.  If you want to join a gym, go for it, or you could just go for a walk every day make your environment your gym. But this week is about feeling good! And it being contagious, will attract people to you, who will want to be on whatever you’re on!

Virgo – Holy Water

‘Splish, splash, I was taking a bath’, oh Virgo, jump in the water it’s fine.  O.k so Holy Water can be carried in any vessel.  A small bottle, a font in a church, or a great big pool for you to immerse yourself in. So, we don’t do things by half do we?!? Jump in your bath of Holy Water and let it wash away you aches, pains, from top to toe, inside, out, and deep within you.  It’s about purification, detoxing your body mind and soul.

Think Orange, think sacral chakra, your gut, the bit that tells you if what you are feeling is right.  If this area is wonky, how can you make sound decisions?  How can you transfer energy needed from your base chakra throughout your body?  By doing this holistic detox you will create free movement of energy around your body, and feel more grounded.  Therefore, more able to deal with whatever comes your way next.

Like a vacuum cleaner bag that needs emptying you need cleansing, so literally take a mineral salt bath, the least that will happen is your joints will thank you.  The other options are that you could find yourself doing a declutter of your life, but up until now you’ve been confused about what stays, or goes. Now you’ll know what to keep and what to change.  I hope it leaves  you feeling lighter and freer in yourself.  I know it will help you focus on the things you need to deal with and how to do so.

Let’s go old School with this interpretation of this card Libran folks, for this is what I am drawn to.  What or who is a Neophyte? It is a trainee student of magic, who is studying the old ways.  It is the first or primary level, and one below that of a priest or priestess.  Are you considering doing something different, that goes back in time, but fascinates you in order to enhance your skills and yourself?  I know that in my state of reflection, I am happy to become the student, and have already signed up for something.

It could be that you simply want to know, ‘more’, about someone, or something.  But you’re not doing it from a position of power or authority, but one of looking up to someone for their help. There will be a mentor involved, someone to keep you on the right path.  Like the Wizard it could be literal, or figurative.  A spirit guide, or actual human in your life now. You will know who they are. And know how to work with them.

By embracing this opportunity to put yourself in the role of pupil, you accept a humble role, one where you can take a back seat. I feel it comes at a time when you need to do this. You need to accumulate knowledge in order to grow and develop your potential. For you do have potential, and may have lost sight of that, or may not feel believed in.  Someone does believe in you, let them, and learn from them.  By being open to learn and invite new experiences into your life you will grow, and become the priest or priestess in your own right.

Scorpio – The Familiar

You Scorpions are going to be looking at your social life, and being really honest with yourself saying how healthy is it? Leo is branching out with a loving feeling; chances are they will connect to you.  Any Leo’s in your life will be alluring, and you will attract them.  Your friendship here will be particularly strong. But all friendships are starred. And you may be needed by a friend.

Whilst some connections are for your benefit, I hinted that you may be the friend in deed here for someone too, be prepared to listen to them, and if they need your advice however surprised, consider it and give it.  I feel you may have to tune into your softer side with one friend who brings out your tail a little, but do be kind.   Whatever happens regarding helping each other, it will reap benefits that will make you all happier.

I often allude to the animal link here, as I feel they are the Familiar, and if you aren’t pet-minded it matters not, there could be an animal around you that is important right now.  Or you could meet someone who has a pet that you are drawn to, and this could lead to a beautiful friendship.  The friends I have made by asking to pet a dog, or help find a lost cat are more than a few.  For those of you interested in meeting your spirit animal this will be a great time, to tune into yours and see what messages they have for you now. What you learn will take you further along your journey

Sagittarius – The Lady

A very good friend of mine used the word Archetype the other day, this is what this card is all about. What does this word mean to be exact? It is the example in something of absolute perfection. We are talking the best, or crème de la crème.  With this comes a sense of power, being, ‘in charge’. With it comes great responsibility. And the gap between ground and lofty heights must be bridged to remain compassionate if you are reaching the height of your own power.

Are you feeling re-energised? As if you had a blood transfusion and it had a Superman’s blood in it?  You are changing, gathering strength, confidence, conviction and courage. Your get up and go is here, for knowledge and energy are power.  So, if you have a dream, or had one that you left behind because you didn’t feel good enough to achieve it, it may be the time to try again, or to try it a different way.

The words that the lady whispers in your ear, ‘You can do that’, or ‘You will be happy’, will penetrate deep in your soul, and make you believe them.  Like a match igniting a fire, you will find a fire starts in your belly, making you happy to be alive and exploring your options.  You’ll have all you need around you in order to achieve your dreams and wishes, but you have to believe in yourself and have faith.

Capricorn – The Cloak

Capricorns greetings to you all, I bring you magic, I bring you a magical cloak. It’s yours and yours alone to use as you will. Have you heard of Build a Bear Workshops, you choose the bears outer body, the type of filling, it’s scent, it’s heart and voice?  Your cloak is the same for you, so take a moment to imagine the fabric, the colours, and how if you could programme you would. What secret power does it have? Where are you going to wear it, and what are your superpowers now you have it?

There’s a double bonus here, it also hides you. From top to toe. Perfect if you are you are needing to step back from your life, yet still keep an eye on things from a safe distance.  Perhaps you’ve got a decision to make, and unusually you find yourself in a dithering state of mind.  Whatever you discover now by watching and waiting will finalise any details before you commit to anything.  It may be the case that you’ve been asked to do something that takes you out of your comfort zone, or you want to make big changes and know they could be resisted.  By taking a little longer to think about this you will come up with the right answer.

Psst can I just get you to watch who is watching you, and be careful what you say, and to whom.  For someone is interested in you, or your ideas, and may pass them off as their own.  If you are in any doubt hold your tongue when your gut tingles or stirs, you will know.  This is a time to progress even further along in your life, by being able to see what you need to see at the right time. Any confusion you’ve will lift like a fog, and reveal the road you need to take.

Aquarius – Black Cat

Meowww our feline friend has come to see you Aquarius.  Your 3rd eye will also be a tingling, set your visionary skills to divinate! This is a time when you’ll be seeing the light in the dark, what is not clear to you by day, may be best considered by night.  A cat just chills by day, and nurtures itself with food, water and the odd cuddle.  By night it sneaks off, hunting, looking for things, exploring its territory, and ensuring its boundaries are still in place.

The Black Cat worked with its witch, protecting her from those who might mean her harm, your Black Cat says watch those in your circle, someone isn’t telling you something, or is perhaps not being genuine with you.  If you get information in your dreams, take notice of it, and if you relax you will find out the meaning easily and it will help you work out what you need to do.  Do not panic if you are concerned about making a tough decision, there is strength in this card and it doesn’t mean the things you find out mean endings, just a different way of dealing with them.  A cat is creative and adaptive in its thinking.

If you are a quick fix kind of a person, and I politely suggest that normally you take a more determined approach to problem solving normally, then perhaps you will find this next bit of advice a bit tough.  Patience! Sure, you can do the slow burn as good as the next one, but once you set a course, you are stubbornly set on it, and don’t want to be told how to do something or wait.  You may have to again think like the cat.  It studies its prey for hours, assesses the competition if there is any, and quietly, ever so slowly approaches. Then attacks. Work with the cat’s energy and you are assured a confident, insightful week.

Pisces – Cauldron

This card is really enjoying a run at the moment Pisces and it’s offering it’s services up to you. Another Sacral Chakra card, the ideas centre of your chakra system. Is your Sacral Chakra feeling a little empty? Has its fire gone out? I think it’s time you fed and nurtured it, to ground yourself and energise you from within.  The ideas or seeds you sow at this time stand a very good chance of becoming very successful if you work with the Cauldron, and go back to basics.

Look at the bigger picture of your world, or imagine this empty cauldron as a globe, your globe waiting for your hopes, dreams, wishes and plans to be dropped in.  With a dollop of success, confidence, commitment and potential, you can be assured when this spell is mixed up, and applied you will feel more positive about your future.  This really in modern speak is about manifestation or cosmic ordering.

If you don’t have access to a cauldron, get a pot. Get a piece of paper and write down one word prompts of inspiration. Write them down, tear them off and drop them in the pot, or a jar, keep the words positive. If you have any orange crystals i.e. carnelian drop one in the pot too, along with a pound coin. Put this jar somewhere you can see it, I put mine on my altar, but if you have a shelf or practice Feng Shui, then establish where the wealth corner is in your home and pop the jar there.  For you have great potential about you right now, sow your seeds and dream of your future success.

Aries – Cave

Aries it’s really time to find your sacred space, and go to it. If you need to retreat then don’t fight it, do it.  You will still be able to study, think and do what you need to, but more quietly and privately.  It’s also a time to pause, and not make any hasty decisions. A little like Capricorn it’s about patience, patience with yourself, patience with others, and know that less is more.

The cave like the cauldron is symbolic of the womb, a place of creation, ideas, and new projects emerging from the depths of the dark caves into the light.  You have so many ideas and so many good ones at that.  Why not use this time have a really creative power storming session. Take one note pad, one pen, get scribbling.  By the end of the week you’ll have a plan, a super idea that you know in gut is the answer.

By taking your time, to allow your ideas to grow and build up in you they will be all the stronger and better for it.  A human dynamo, you are the best person to have in a team who will forge ahead, but before you can do this, you have to be on strong solid ground, and the mission you are on has to be valid and worth your energy.  Think of Batman, he does all his creating in his cave, then when he goes out to save Gotham, he’s mighty, strong and brave.  This is you Aries. So be like Batman, go and have a think in your cave.
