Runestones are a very old and simple way of seeking guidance.  They have a very powerful, organic energy about them, and don’t mince their words. You can ask yes or no questions, but open questions are best. They are very honest.

I drew 5 at random from my sack of stones, they can be read as a whole story message, or as you see fit.  Simply ask for guidance regarding a matter that is concerning you, or just say, ‘What do I need to know?

One – Gebo 

This is a lovely Runestone to get, its name Gebo (Gay-boo) literally means ‘Gift’. I feel its overall message is there will be a  healing of rifts. How does this process work, with a mutual exchange, sometimes of gifts, acknowledgement with appreciation and forgiveness?  It relates to good old-fashioned trade and thrashing out issues in partnerships.  Established or pending.  Any blocks or barriers can be dissolved by talking and exchanging positive energy.  Compromises will be reached.

So what partnerships am I talking about?  All of them.  Romantic, sexual, professional, social and familial. If you’re single expect yourself to feel more open to the idea of a relationship, or notice the attention you may be getting from a flirtatious connection that is hotting up. In a long-term relationship already, it will re-ignite, or deepen. Libidos may feel heightened.  Professionally speaking, a new job could be on the horizon or a troubled work relationship could improve for the better.

The main message here is to be flexible and willing to give, yet expect nothing in return. However, by doing so you will potentially reap a great harvest of positive energy.  Words like loyalty, sacrifice, and honesty in true connections add to this rune stones charm.  For you will see the best people for the best right now, but not with rose-tinted glasses. With a sense of remembering why you are with your partner, why you like your job, and how lucky you are to have your family and friends. This is a glass half full card!

Two – Fehu

If you were drawn to this card your earning opportunity or financial area has been spotlighted.  The word Fehu (‘Fay-who’) means ‘Cattle’, this relates to the cattle trading as a living.  On another level, it relates to things moving forward in your life.  This is an opportunity linked to money in particular.  Or the process of earning a living by being proactive and keeping the cycle of providing a service, taking money, going hand in hand.

This process has to be fluid, from the word go, and very often this rune relates to new business ideas.  It hints at whatever idea you have, whether old or new, it can work if you don’t give up this time.  Keep the motion going. Make a list of things you have to do, who you have to speak to? Who do you have to listen to?  Who owes you, who do you owe? I’d factor into this cycle some work-life balance otherwise; work is what you will become obsessed with. For self-nurture, (eating, drinking, playing, and resting), feed the machine that keeps this spiral going.

There is an element of luck linked to this rune, it could be a magnet if it weren’t an old stone.  It’s going to draw in energy, and give out energy at the same time.  A good crystal linked to this rune is magnetic haematite, the push and pull of balanced magnetic force is both protective yet attractive at the same time.  There is a chance this lucky financial cycle will also benefit those around you, for where there is flow, and attraction, anyone involved or helping you with your earning potential, will be part of the lucky process.

Three – Berkana/Berkano

This rune stood out to you because you perhaps seek a gentler way of doing things right now.  ‘Burr-can-oh’, is Icelandic for ‘Birch Goddess’, and speaks of retreat, and rebirth.  There is the answer to a question that, up until this time could not find the answer to. You’ve been looking in all of the wrong places, for this answer lies deep within you. Once you’ve found out what this news is, big or small, it will ensure your own personal growth and offer fresh starts.  The sense of achievement and success is entrenched in this rune.

Why? Because you will be connecting your inner self with your outer self. Have you reached a milestone birthday? Or are you feeling your age?  It’s not a time to look back at what you feel you should have done, but realise what you have done, and what you can still do.  Your inner self, the child in your soul, will blend in with your adult form right now, and you’ll feel the stronger for it. The best union you can have right now is that of ‘you’.

Body, mind and soul parties result in a new sense of security, maturity and age-old wisdom.  Its female side relates to that of a mothering type of energy, the ability to raise small beings into mature versions of themselves.  This could relate to your own family, or your work life, and any other areas of your life where there are seedlings or small things starting to grow.  Be aware of the quieter energy with this rune, it speaks of a need for discretion, protection and shelter. For such deep thinking requires quiet private time. It’s ok to ask for space, and not give away too much to anyone right now.  You will be ready to emerge as the whole version of yourself when you are ready!

Four – Raido

‘Ride-ho’, is what it sounds like and what it is! Travel! It means ‘Ride’, or ‘wagon’, an olden day means of travel.  You’re going on a journey. This a literal and metaphorical message.  Expect more travel, local to international, and from such travel expect to feel enlightened, and confident. Such a trip could result in stories to tell others when you get back, or you could have great news. A very old friend has just had a little trip because her business plan needed tweaking, but she needed to breathe.  Back from her adventure, she’s all fired up

This is not a dreamy card, it’s about getting out in the world, grounded and exploring, even at a spiritual level it relates to your practical side.  Learning to work with your sacral chakra, to tune into your sense of knowing would be a good thing for you this week. Common sense will prevail here, where perhaps you’ve been a little emotional or again slightly ‘rose-tinted’ in your outlook.  Seeing things as they really are, people, places, and situations bring you down from the stars to the place where you should be. This is time to let go of the past, aim for the future, and embrace courage.

The mixed benefit of this is that you’ll come back excited, restless and bursting to go.  You will not be able to stop yourself from just doing it! But. Whilst you are away, can you ensure you do a plan, and you just don’t fire off on a tangent?  The balance of your own energy, and that of the world you connect to during your trip, real or emotional, will result in the perfect blend that should give you the drive you need, but the calmness and logic required in order to deliver it.

 

Five – Jerba

Hello, has your life ground to a halt here, and are you now feeling a little annoyed because you’ve so much to do and so little time? You may have just been through the journey phase, and now you are back. Slow down! But don’t grind to a halt. This rune ‘Yehr-ah’, means ‘Year’ and relates to a time when crops were harvested.  Imagine your crops are ready to be reaped, you’ve been watching and waiting so long, and they are ready. Go gather them in.  Your crops could be of any nature, work, love, life, or personal development.  Something has matured and is now ready.

Take your mind back to simpler times, where we were learning about crops and nature. We knew when to plant seeds, what type to sow, what weather or climate we needed, and how to nurture them until they were ready.  This applies to all areas of our lives, and your life right now may be out of sync. Use nature’s time clock, to get your own rhythm back.  Yes, something is ready, but something else needs sowing, and another needs nurturing.  Get your planner out and look at your time schedule, make some notes in it, like the agricultural farmer would for each crop.

The rewards you reap now are those you started last winter, what did you start back then? Take a look at it, I think it may be ready. Whilst there are periods of hyperbolic activity at the time of sowing and harvesting that lovely lull in between should be enjoyed. But find your own organic flow, look at your planner, factor in for the odd surprise or emergency, but if you know when you should be doing something and when you can put your feet up and take a rest, all good! Any changes you want to make now, make them at the right time, so yes, this means being aware of the need to change something, but not upsetting the cycle.

Hello Wiccascopians,

How are ye all?

I have decided to start a new hobby, ‘upcycling’, I’ve ordered all the bits. How hard can it be? I haven’t told my partner Johnny yet, it’s a ‘surprise’.

So, folks what surprises do you have in mind for the people in your life? What new challenges are you taking on? Who are you going to share them with? I think its great fun to just lay there in bed and plan out these things, then go out shopping the next day to get sorted.

So, think of something you want to do, plot it, get what you need for it, and just do it. Oh, and don’t tell anyone, cover it in a sheet, then say surprise when it’s finished!

On a serious note, this about being creative and letting out your arty side!

Taurus – Holy Water

Taurus fancy a swim, there’s water, water everywhere, so tell me what you think!  Or should I say feel? Yes, because Holy Water is more about feeling. It’s an emotional sense or energy that requires your attention when you draw this card.  It may be a sign that you are not reacting to things from a rational point of view. It’s time to refocus, cleanse your sacral chakra and get back on track.

Think about where you can actually use water, drink it, cook with it, bathe in it, shower in it, and clean with it.  Every time you take a drink of good clean water, you are cleansing your body flushing out toxins and waste, every time you bathe or shower, you are cleansing your body on the outside. When it comes to cleansing your mind and soul, you have to use your imagination, and also take practical steps as well. I shall explain.

Firstly, find yourself somewhere nice a quiet to be by yourself, undisturbed, a bath is a good place, and as you soak in the bath, having washed just say, ‘I release the old and let in the new’.  Then when you’ve dressed and sat down, remain relaxed and do a proper pro’s and cons list, what stays? What remains? What are you going to add?    Also, on the practical side, have a declutter, it’s amazing how this process kickstarts your mind and gut into just knowing what you have to do next.

Gemini – Cone of Power

Gemini hello, this week I am going to start with a question.  Do you feel a little stuck?  Has something or someone unsettled you? If the reply is yes Violet, help me!  Fear not, come with me to the Cone Room, take a seat on the sofa with me and let’s see which cone finds its way to you.

I can offer you a cone of power, the most basic cone, it comprises of all the cones that heal the chakras.  A very vibrant cone that will provide you with general healing.  Great, perhaps use this as your foundation cone. But what if you have something you really need help with? You need a particular cone for that, think on that issue, and take your bespoke cone.  Remember I said there are other cones here? Well, you can take a bonus cone for another issue you may want to deal with and so on.  It’s your time here. You choose how you spend it.

What happens then?  You will find once you’ve taken your cone(s) and held it(them), you may feel a little different.  Energized, ready for what happens next. With bells on.  What was difficult to deal with before, is now resolvable.  Where there was pain or panic, there is a sense of calm and clarity.  In the real world, you can create this feeling by taking a moment to imagine the event I’ve just described as a meditation or mindfulness exercise. You can do this.

Cancer – Cloak

I’ve a new analogy for this card Cancer. 007 superspy James Bond!  He’s discreet, always thinking ahead, outwitting the baddies, and loves the reveal enjoying the limelight a little.  This is you this week. So, go and see M, have a chat about your mission, pop in on Q get tooled up and I’ll see you in the next paragraph.

So, M gave you your mission, Q gave you your gadgets, or in real-world speak, you’ve had a think and know what you need to face up to and deal with. Yes! You’re a free agent asuch, and trusted to do what you will freely. But you do need to make your own secret plan.  So, take yourself to a quiet place, hold back from telling anyone that you are now a spy with a secret.  And get out a notebook and pen and get jotting.

Make your calls, have your meetings, do your research, if this is business linked.  Again, tell no-one who doesn’t need to know yet.  However excited you are! If this is linked to your personal life, the same principle applies, think, talk, but only to those it involves directly and whom you can trust.  Then when you’ve done this, reveal your truth, like a very proud 007 emerge ready for your next challenge.

Leo – Queen of Elphame

Leo, she’s here again, the gracious Queen invites you to take a mini-break in her underworld of the Fae.  Sometimes in order to carry on being great, we need to retreat and have a little fun.  Cancer drew the Cloak card, also a card of retreat, but yours is different, it’s more a sense of forgetting the mundane, no pens or paper here! It’s all about learning by enjoying yourself.

My old school friend is currently setting up a new business, it’s been all go, studying, working out finances and adapting her home for it.  She recently went on a Yoga Retreat, because in order to deliver her new-found talents, she had to have the energy to do so.  Does this sound familiar?  Whether your issue is professional or personal what has left you burned out or feeling ill even?

What lies in the Underworld of the Fae, are beds made of chamomile flowers, waterfalls and healing bathing pools.  Little faeries and animals dance around you as you walk, talk, and enjoy meals with the Queen of Elphame. Of course, such worlds are hard to find, if they really exist at all, so create your own, or like my very good friend of 40 years, go to a yoga retreat?

Virgo – The Horned God

Oh Virgo, this card is so you! It’s natural, earthy and also quietly driven. He wants you to tune into your base chakra.  Can we do it now?  Hold your hand about 6” above your hips and upper thigh area.  Be honest now, what do you feel. There will be an emotion or energy that resonates from you. Please do not worry if you can’t feel anything.  Whilst you are focussing on that area, now imagine the colour red, ruby red! You are wearing ruby red underpants… feel the heat, say out loud, ‘I let out the old and negative, and welcome the new and positive!’ How do you feel now? Do this a few times.

After you have done this, and really given in to the new energy in you, stand up, feel the ground under your feet, your floor, walk around it. Forget the stars, moon and sun, feel that energy through your feet to your hips, going upwards until it shoots out your head.  You are grounded.  Now put some shoes on, (and clothes if you are not dressed right now), and go for a walk in woodlands near you.  Find a tree, sit under it, and make a few plans.  When you come back you’ll know just what you have to do next in your life. Oh… expect your libido to fire up too. Enjoy!!

Libra – Crystal Ball

Hi Libra, this is weird, I am currently ordering new glasses as we speak, (Well roughly around the same time), then I drew this card.   Vision is heavily featured in this card’s meaning; the Crystal Ball is an eyeglass for your 3rd eye.  If there is a question on your mind, very close in proximity to your 5th chakra, you may just find the answers you seek in clairvoyant skills. Whether they are new to your or established.

There’s such liberty and release in knowledge that until now has been hidden from you.  Has someone’s behaviour towards you made your question your place in their life, and theirs in yours? The things you see in your world around you, out of the corner of your eye or in plain sight will prompt you to have light bulb moments. We’re talking inspiration and clarity.

Please don’t be afraid, for at a time of revelations you may dig up old fears and feelings that perhaps are the blockages on your future progress.  You will get enough information about your future that has you running headfirst into it.  And it’s sent with a lot of love, from people who love you unconditionally, there will be no expectation on you.  You have your own free will and will do just fine.  The changes that come your way now are so positive and for the best.

Scorpio – Bat

Scorpio we’re leaving on a jet bat, yes The Bat flutters in, and perches on your window ledge, bleeping his or her invitation for you to join them on this evenings flight.  Luckily I am a witch and transform you into a bat. Good. Off you go and see what the night has to offer. For in the night what was hidden by day, emerges.  Lit up by the moon and stars. Ordinarily, the Bat would be hunting for food, but now you seek out knowledge.

What do you believe in? Think it about it for a moment. Spiritually, emotionally, Scorpio think what makes you tick in your heart and soul.  You’ll feel more deeply connected to yourself and the world you live in as a result of delving into the place I call, ‘more than’.  Embrace changes that come your way with insight and warmth. That fire in your belly will be burning brighter, enabling you to forge ahead!

As the Bat hails you to go and explore your options and gain your insight, you will spot in your everyday life little signs that tell you which way you need to go.  You may come to some dead ends, or get lost but you’ll find your way again.  New beginnings wait for you, or positive changes made to a current situation will make something feel refreshed and new.  Enjoy.

Sagittarius – 6 Rayed Star

Sagittarius how balanced are you feeling? I used to work in the mental health sector, and we proudly promoted the person-centred care approach.  This is where clients or patient’s treatment was led by their needs and requirements. You need to put yourself at the centre of your own care plan.  If you don’t how can you care for anyone else as part of theirs?

You then look at the areas of your life that require your attention, and the areas where you need attention. They have to be in sync in order for you to be able to function properly.  Yes, you have to have money to put that roof over your head, buy your food and pay your bills. And yes, you need to have a social life and support your friends and family.  But you also need to remember to sleep well and look after your health.

Of course, goals are important but not the cost of your true spiritual soul, remember the more you reach for the stars and the moon, your feet gradually come away from the ground.  If there were a balloon of ambition attached to this, you’d eventually float away.  So, keep your feet on the ground too. For as the Pentacle has 5 elemental areas, so you could argue does the Six-Rayed Star, it’s great to have fire in your belly, but you also need some earth as well. Get this sorted and you’ll be the best version of yourself.

Capricorn – Cauldron

Hello!  You may find yourself having concern for people in your life, taking on a nurturing, parental role within your circle.  This softer, more sensitive depth of feeling you feel may catch you off guard.  Normally you are in control, and quite independent but you may be finding yourself feeling a little ‘needy’, but unlike water signs who know who to deal with this, you won’t at first.

Worry not! Because when you get the Cauldron card, it says, you’ll have the perfect place to manifest the perfect approach or plan that will enable you to deal with this. One approach you’ll find that comes easily to you now, is that of putting others first, just be careful you don’t sacrifice too much of yourself.  Remember to save some energy for yourself.

In my cauldron, or pot, when I make a resin or potion, I carefully consider the matter from all angles before even reaching for a herb, or crystal. I also make sure I have the right candle and the right words for the right spell.  In other words, what happens when I spell cast with my potion brewed in my pot, depends on the process.  This applies to you at the moment. Whether you are Wiccan or have your own interpretation of this, you’ll be doing it because you care and that is love.

Aquarius – Book of Shadows

Oh, good grief Aquarius, I’ve an old book of Magyck winging its way to me. I love old books, and you’ve one too in the Book of Shadows.  You are wise, and will become all the wiser for getting this book. Turn the pages to find where the blank pages start. This is where you take over the book.  There’s a posh pen to that goes with it.  Okay, write a spell.

Oh, you don’t know how?  I beg to differ. What is your wish to manifest, or in plain English, ‘make happen’?  Great. Give it a title. But before you do that, ask yourself, who does this serve, and is it the right to do? And yes, I know I sound boring, but will it hurt anyone else?  If hand on heart none are harmed. Write out your intentions, wishes and make a plan. You then have a spell. This book is a diary packed full of spells, and you will add to them as you manifest.

When you record your spells, or in modern day speak, thoughts and words, you’ll find you spell out your intentions to the universe and hence find that you have more focus, and much stronger intention. The words that others use will also mean something to you, for the universe finds a way of using other people as messengers. Inspiration could come from reading books, or on-line articles.  But there is power in words for you this week, that chapter by chapter will tell your own story.

Pisces – Owl

Pisces we’ve had Bats taking people on night flights, why not become an owl and go hunting as well. The night is bright, your vision is good, and with these new lovely tawny or white wings, (you can choose), you have speed, agility and confidence. Whilst you may not in reality be an owl, you can apply these skills into your earthly everyday life.  But what are you going hunting for?

Well that is up to you! I imagine somehow you’ll know though. It could be healing, inspiration, closure, success, romance or just simple clarification. I feel you’ll find it, glide down, swoop and pick it up.  Nature’s torch Sister Moon has a canny habit of guiding you to where you need to be.

Owl calls us back to nature, where you can sit and think. If you are at peace, you can create space in your body, mind and soul in order to let the answers come to you.   Whatever is you discover by spending time with the Owl, could change your life in a big way.  On a cautionary note, you will really have to trust your gut when you get this card, you may be guided by your 3rd eye, but your gut is still vital in decision making. The Owl will ask you ‘Right is that what you want to do?’ You’ll reply, ‘Yes’, and before you know it you’re both off in the air carrying out that plan. The Owl prides itself on instinctive action, and confident intention.  Show should you.

Aries – The Lady

Aries, I feel there is an element of the Phoenix reborn here.  And as a fire sign, that is so apt for you. Where you felt as is life was managing you, and you were not managing it, you may now find yourself back in the driving seat. Relief eh? An already confident sign you appreciate it when things are flowing well for you and will welcome the return of your ‘mojo’. (p.s I love that word).

The Lady tells you that you should believe in yourself, and have every right to feel happy. So why would you not believe it? Is what you are trying to do apparently out of reach, does it have to be so perfect?  What Aries if it already is, and just needs a little love to be included.  And that means loving yourself as well as others. In kindness and compassion, you create a link that joins you to both air and ground.

You may already be a leader, or feel like you should be, if you are seeking a promotion, it’s long overdue, go for it!  If you have a dream or something that you want so badly to happen, use this new found energy and courage to get you there. This card could be your totem card, or profile card. This reading above all asks you to be kind to yourself.

Making sure your answer is both accurate AND targeted.

A good psychic does not need to be fed information – but if your dilemma is really complex, don’t be afraid to lay it out in the question. But if you are feeling rattled or a bit vulnerable, then it might not be the best time to ask a closed question.

TOP TIP #1: Create your own reality. This might surprise you, but Spirit are not that interested in telling the client what they can or cannot have. Instead they want to give you insights about how to get the most out of your situation, how you can influence outcomes and how you can simply feel better about everything. If getting a ‘no’ is going to disappoint you or mess with your vibe, then take a different approach to the question. Ask a question that is going to help you clarify your request to the Universe.

Lets be honest, time is how we make sense of life. Night and day. Monday to Friday. The four seasons. These routines and rhythms give our lives meaning and structure. But when people ask me for calendar time frames, they are often asking about the mindset and intentions of other people. Whereas when we set goals, we are influencing time frames ourselves.  Time frame questions are usually about something which is interchangeable and therefore hard to predict. So for example – ‘when will my lover reach out to me?’ This is based on the mindset of your lover and the clarity of their intention. It is their emotional journey and – here is a big rule of thumb –  emotional journeys are hard to measure in calendar time. It’s the same reason I wouldn’t say to someone: it will take three and a half months for you to grieve a death. Also, if your lover doesn’t have clarity of intention then it’s hard for a reader to see how and when they are likely to take action.

If I am looking at when someone is inspired to reach out to you – yes of course I can sense the difference between 3 days and 3 months. I can give a sense of time, but it’s important to not get too ‘micro’ with time frames – and here is the reason why….

Although it is perfectly natural to want things to happen soon, if we approach it with tension and anxiety – it can actually block the manifesting process. It can push the experience further away. So watching the clock, watching the calendar, or paying too much attention to calendar time….can block the flow of energy. It can affect the energy you have with another person. If they feel that ‘pull’ on their energy in some way, it can stop communication from happening. Therefore it’s not always helpful for a psychic to pin your focus to a really specific time frame. It stops you from going with the flow, getting out of your own way and manifesting the outcome for yourself.

What you really need to know is how to get into your power and make time feel like it’s going more quickly. Time flies when you’re having fun. But if you’re not finding ways to have fun, what you want will always seem like it’s always ‘over there’.

So, if there is anything wrong at each of the 7 stations it will throw the whole spiral off kilter. You are being asked to accept an overhaul of your inner spiral, that will set you back on course, and help you move in the right direction. Take a look at healing your chakra’s, there are some very good guided meditations you can watch that will help realign them.

By doing so you will notice that you are more focused and geared up to embrace the opportunities this change will bring. For this spiral brings to you, or brings you to, the issues you need to address. Where there is a need, there will be the solution. Fantastic. But you may not want to admit what the spiral’s pin point accuracy has, and you may be tempted to say, ‘Oh no, that’s ok, I won’t be changing that!’ When in your heart of hearts, head and gut, you’ll know. So, it’s partially a cruel to be kind message here. You’ll get what you ‘Need’, not what you want. But getting your head around it and taking a deep breath will help you process that to achieve the best outcome.

Remember that a spiral spins hopefully clockwise to maintain positive momentum. But sometimes there is a spec of something unwelcome that acts like a spanner and jams up the motion, or even sends it spinning back the other way. It’s very import to keep aiming forwards to stay on a true course. The only time you manually override this is when you need to release something, and ‘You’, switch the handle to set the spiral to first pause. You think about what you are releasing, then set the handle to reverse, and the spec of dirt that was there is spat out and removed from your spiral. Things return to normal, if not a better version of it. But be conscious of things that make you feel stuck, or blocked, and address them. If all the stations in your spiral get stuck, you could find yourself feeling completely at a standstill. Go with the flow, address the issues, and enjoy the positive results.

Gemini – Raven

Hello to you all! The lovely Raven is back and the message is when this creature comes into your life, it isn’t done quietly, it announces itself, ‘Cawing’, it tells you to stop listen and contemplate. For Raven has something to say. In many cultures, Raven symbolises endings and new beginnings. Don’t worry such energies for rebirth are good, and a fantastic opportunity to embrace a fresh start. And, so, Raven can steer you safely through your journey. An interesting fact I looked up about the lifestyle of the Raven, is that is a carnivorous scavenger, seen in some cultures the cleanser of bodies before they move on into their next life. With this in mind, there is a sense of cleansing and purging for you.

The Raven is also an excellent teacher, mentor and guide, they make a great familiar in magical and mystical studies. This wise old bird asks you to manifest your intentions at this time. So, if you are prone to procrastination, it’s time to avoid such behaviour. For you will find yourself in the right space for you at the moment. It’s another one of those ‘go with the flow’, cards. The ancient Greeks believed the Raven carried messages from the Divine, Apollo in particular. The teaching behind this is that yes the Raven is very much associated with the night but the link to Apollo means there are solar qualities too. From this I feel that the messages we receive at night steer us into the light of day, i.e. the light at the end of a tunnel.

Work with the Raven to boost your 3rd eye chakra, your psychic vision, and regular observation powers, in order reveal everything that needs to be seen. The Raven’s call is distinctive, with a variety of words, by communing with the nature of Raven your own communication skills could improve. Cancer hello! Oh, I’ve a great list of buzzwords you need to let float into your mind this week and process. For they will help you in life. Skills, vision, power, signs, foresight, déjà vu, and clarity. All powered by your 3rd eye, (The fifth chakra that sits slightly above the gap between your eyebrows), focus your energy on it now, or hover your hand over it, feel it tingle. It’s a very special part of you. It aids your normal vision, boosts it. Think telescope into the beyond, the future, or the hidden.

Once you have processed these buzzwords, you will find odd things happening. Your intuition will sound alerts, you’ll see things in your sleep, and perhaps have waking dreams too. Meditate to facilitate both of these! Relaxation is the best gateway to receiving messages, visually and via all the other senses. You’ll also find that although this is a 3rd eye chakra energy, it will vibrate to other chakra’s and there will be some synchronisation involved. This sense of knowing totally will overwhelm you potentially, but because you will find your base chakra receiving some of the energy too, you’ll be grounded and therefore able to withstand it.

So, in summary Cancerians apply this time and energy into your life. How is it going? How do you feel? What does the horizon look like? You can afford to be discerning, fussy even, and don’t be afraid to say no to things that really don’t make the grade with you. Your standards will be higher, in all areas of your life. Your social life may be trimmed back to make room for fresh blood, that meets your new standards. Maybe you’ll base this on someone’s long-standing treatment of you that you no longer find acceptable. You may surprise a colleague or boss who could be taking advantage of you, by saying ‘actually, no I feel it could be done this way’, or and this is a brave one to a colleague, ‘I’m can’t help you with that, I have my own work to do’. Because I feel especially as a Cancerian, people may treat you as a soft target, and you’ll be able to politely stand up for yourself. For the Crystal ball will also reveal a stronger version of yourself to them.

Leo – Chalice

Hello lovelies so I start your reading with a question. Is your cup half full or half empty? Normally you would say full to the brim, but what has thrown you off course? Whilst you consider where you are now, let’s explore the options of the scenarios.

Half-Full, we’re starting in a good place, and a very balanced one at that. It means you are giving what you can give, but also not losing too much of yourself in the process, which could leave you depleted or jaded. But there’s still a little fine tuning you can do with the contents of your half-fullness. Is the liquid content of your cup clear, and calm? Or has there been a build up sludge that is stopping it flow around the cup freely. Take a closer look into it, what is that dark patch, or that little nick of dirt that’s been bugging you? Take a bit of time to hook it out, and top it up with clear healing water to freshen up the cup.

This is your life, the chalice is your sacral chakra, (2 inches below your belly button and the colour orange), it processes information, is the liquid base for your feelings and creative side. When you have an idea in your head, or in your heart, you have to call a meeting with your sacral chakra to be sure that you are on the right track. Look, it’s ok to be a logical person, it’s ok to be hearty person, but the warmth and sense of knowing, comes from your sacral chakra. It’s the cauldron of your body, where creation takes place. Where you ideas are put together, and become a reality for you. It brings about change as a result of simply, ‘knowing’, a gentle flowing knowing.

If your chalice is considered half empty, especially for you, this is a flat feeling to have. I feel you have to follow the same process, as if it were half full, but perhaps this time look for the positive thing in the chalice as well. The chinks of silver and gold, the healing oils, the glimpses of the sea these are all lovely things. In other words, count your blessings, what is going well for you, sure get rid of the things that are not working, but don’t throw out the things that are. You have talents, skills, a lovely soul either way you view your chalice. There is so much that you can offer, and share with the world. So, consider everything you have that is great, and refresh everything that is tired, and remove everything that is not good for you. Balance will be yours, as will success.

Virgo – Bat

The Bat swoops into your life Virgo and there are a lot of keywords here for you to think about. Communication, journeys, change, rebirth, inner depth, grief, joy, love, pollination, initiation and ego. That’s a lot of words, which ones pop out at you? How do they make you feel? All of them add up to change, and transformation. And the speed at which the bat zooms in is the speed at which the changes could happen in your life. These changes are the seeds for your future, they are delivered quickly but need your methodical approach in life Virgo will soon see you planning and designing how to get the best out of the seeds.

Pay attention to signals, sonar bat signals that will alert you to where opportunity knocks. In this case, these clues could be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Like the Raven, Bat symbolises endings, and some part of your life doesn’t serve your higher calling. New ideas, inspired hunches and emotions may occur that seem unfamiliar to you. Some aspect of this period could feel extra tough on you if you put off dealing with it. Let the good change happen. The presence of the Bat means these changes are quick, to the point, and you will be enjoying the new chapters in your very quickly.

How is your spiritual growth? Pursue this more, there is more to be learned, when you start to learn it you find yourself easily flying towards an understanding. What is new about your thinking, don’t fight it, embrace it! You’ll perhaps have a new passion or interest that is taking your higher and deeper on a certain path. Once identified you’ll know just what to do with the learning you acquire, and feel more enlightened and this will migrate to your everyday life, giving you a sense of perspective. So, by seeing and sensing more your whole self will benefit.

Libra – Pentacle

Oh, my stars here is the Pentacle Libra. To be very accurate, the pentacle is a pentagram a star shaped symbol encased in a circle. The circle is especially important, it acts as a ring of protection. What is it protecting? The wearer and its connection to the spiritual aspects of life, that in equal balance are very important and aid magical exploration. Each of the five points of the star represent north, south, east and west with the fifth point and uppermost point being spirit.

I want to look in greater detail this week at the elemental side if the pentacle and their message to you, Earth is the right lower point, and is linked to fire, it gives you courage Libra. Then water in the upper right area, which is of course this is all about emotions and intuition. The element of earth, represents physical stability and endurance, it lives in lower left point. Air equals intelligence, and can be found upper left. Spirit is the top point of the star and represents the divine, spirit, which is about connecting and balancing the spirit and earth planes.

When you look at these points, think about what they mean to you and the areas in your life that fit into each triangle. Are you more emotional at the moment, or more physical? The key is to try and keep all of these areas equally nurtured, and topped up, and that the activities in your life also reflect this. For example, all work and play and burning out? Or feeling lazy and all emotional? Just read those points again, and perhaps make a list or pentacle diagram to establish a visual idea of how you can restore balance, and proceed confidently, making your own magic in your life.

Scorpio – Aradia

Hello Scorpio, why has the beautiful Aradia appeared after such a long absence to see you? Because she wants you to really look at your belief systems, and do so objectively. She was highly revered in Italy, her wisdom and guidance sought out by many. She offered spiritual counsel to anyone who needed it. So much so a holy order was established in her name. She wants to free you up from any outmoded ideas you have. Perhaps you need to explore another option, or deepen a connection you already have in your spiritual life. How we think and live is based on that old debate of nature v nurture.

At the centre of it all is you, then there’s your family who bring you up, the friends you make in your life and greater world. All these people in your life had some influence on you. Then as you grew you became more and more familiar with the world, adopting some of its culture, and ideas. I also will add spirit to this, for if you believe in connections to the past and those who come from that to help us, we have the full picture of ourselves. This all looks very supportive and cosy, and it would be if all of those elements were healthy and had a positive influence on you. More importantly so if they still allowed you free will and free thinking. What if somewhere in your life there are locks on you that halt your free thinking, well they can slow you down.

Scorpio you are being given the key to a special door which takes you into a corridor, where there are so many options behind so many other doors, with no nasty surprises, just great learning opportunities. Believe here that you are not just of earth, that you are also connected to spirit, and there’s so much for you to learn, and experience as a result of learning. Such experience could enhance your progress in your life and help you achieve your goals.

Sagittarius – Owl

Hello all, your lovely card this week is the Owl, this your 3rd visit by the Owl, it flies in once again to take you into the twilight hours, and commune with the moon. This hooting messenger has something to say to you, and wants you to say something in turn to the world. A thoughtful, and at first appearance serious one, this bird may appear grumpy. It’s not, but being a scholar and one who would rather fly, its wisdom comes in swoops, and sweeps.

In order to teach you Owl wants you go find a natural space, or at least a quiet space where you can take some time out to have good old think. For what is revealed to you right now, or whatever you come to suddenly understand, will be potentially life changing. You may even surprise yourself at your reaction to what you discover. For the Owl has little time to rue or regret things, they almost scorch a line in the sand where, ‘that was then, and this is now’, with the force and speed of their message.

Try to go somewhere where you can feel the ground underneath feet, whilst your knowledge gives wings, you cannot fly, so even though the Owl does, it will circle you, chatting away. You will be walking, resting, eating and drinking as you travel the woodland path. By the time you come to the woodland clearing, a weight would have been lifted from your shoulders, and your step will be lighter and easier. As you sit in the clearing, the canopy of trees lets in such sunlight and illumination, you will know exactly which path to take home.

Capricorn – Spider

Hello Capricorn you have a lovely spider with you this week, in the spirit animal kingdom the spider represents the feminine aspects of energy, as well as patience, and creativity. Spiders possess great design skills, creating something beautiful in nature that doubles up as a practical tool to ensnare their supper. The spider coming along now, guides you as you attune to your life’s journey, and help you ‘weave’ your own path.

The Spider also speaks of patience, it tirelessly weaves it web, if a bit breaks off it fixes it, if it blows away or a human knocks it down, it rebuilds it. Then when for a moment it’s built the spider hides, and waits, and waits. Then supper finally comes to visit. You will have period of building and crafting out your plans, but Spider also speaks of the need not to rush the process of achieving your dreams, or goals at some speed. You’ll get there, plans and dreams in intact if you wait.

So, Capricorn if you pay attention to the events going on around you, and the information that you glean, then you will spot a really great chance which you must take advantage of. If anything has been puzzling you until now, as the spider jumps and navigates their world so you will find things much easier to negotiate. Think about your problem from many different angles, be open in your thinking, for in doing so you’ll find more than one answer.

Spider also speaks about your destiny, have you lost your way and forgotten where you were headed? You once had a very good idea about what you wanted, and you wanted it so badly. It is still there for the taking, so remember the passion you had for it, and take this chance to have another go. Perhaps now that you are older and wiser, the pattern you wove then, can be woven again, and this time you’ll really enjoy reaping the benefits.

Aquarius – Crone

Aquarians hello all, I have for you one of my favourite characters in Wicca, The Crone Goddess, she is also known as the Dark Mother. With the Maiden and Mother, she is symbolic of the circle of life. Being the eldest of the three Goddesses she puts a little fear into a reading, she represents the ending and aging of things. However, I see her as so much more than that. She is wise, experienced, and she can share so much of her knowledge with you. After she dies she is reincarnated as the maiden crone again, continuing life’s story. Another lesson here this week of rebirth.

For you Aquarius there are two meanings with this card, one is that there is a lesson you need to learn from a wise one. The other is the lesson could be that a phase in your life is coming to an end, or you are maturing and leaving something behind. And combining these two aspects as one, you have a gift here to set you on the course of your future. A lovely grandmother figure with all her warmth and wisdom is offering you the key to the future, if you wish to take it.

You do have a choice here, your own free will. It’s like getting any advice from anyone who takes the time to say their piece, and it leave it with you to digest and consider. What do you do now? Well it’s up to you Aquarius, but you do have options. Your options are to make a note of the wise words spoken and consider how you will use them. Then you have to look at the area(s) of your life where you need to make changes. So wise is the Crone that she will not tell where you need amend your actions or which problems you need to address, she knows, but also knows it’s up to you to join up the dots. But when you do, your outcome will be a successful one, taking you a happier path.

Pisces – High Priest

Pisces greetings, you too have a wise old one who visits to impart their words of wisdom. He is an honest man, and his key message is, have some self-belief and the world could be your oyster. He reminds you that you are brave and full of potential. Now the knowledge you have, by the end of your time with the High Priest can be applied to what you already know. Basically, he is a kind of a cheerleader, supporting you at a very important time.

What is important to you? What do you value? Do you feel valued? If the answer to any of these questions is ‘No’, then address why not. Got a problem at work, then take a step back, look at your role, where you want to be and start talking to the right people. Relationships gone awry the same, now is the time to get both of you back on the same page, or at least talking about being on the same page. You may discover you’re on a completely different bookshelf to some people in your life, and have to remind them of who you are and your true value.

This card like the crone speaks of an older figure, or someone that is to be respected. Their presences in your life, real or spiritually real, is important right now. They know a lot of useful things that in the Wiccan world aid with magical rituals, so in modern life terms they will know something that they can apply to your life. It will seem as if the advice they have, tor the order of things they set out to you, assure you of some respite in a problematic area, or onto success. Whatever they tell you, whatever you learn, this week and going forward you will find yourself humbly taking the advice of this person, and thanking them for it one day.

Aries – Broomstick

Aries hello again, this week the presence of the Broomstick says you will if you want to be, cleaning with attitude. It’s one of those dual aspect cards as well. Where you may find yourself rearranging rooms, even your whole home, dusting and throwing out rubbish you’ve previously thought of as useful things. The Broomstick, is something a witch’s home is not without. They are strewn around their homes, large and small, ornamentally on altars, and hung on the wall. They represent a need for cleansing negative energy away from a space. It’s always about healthy and positive energy with witchs and spiritual people, for this is where abundance and prosperity thrive.

As the broom sweeps, so does it move things along; expect movement by freeing up the space cleared, a dirty floor, a clogged-up room trips up it’s resident magical crone, so she has to make space. You too may have to make space in your life, room for things that are being suppressed or obscured, and room for new things to be placed. You may even be considering where you live at the moment, have you outgrown your living space, or work space? It is suggested you may hop on the Broomstick and find a new home.

On an energy level I’ll take you to your sacral chakra, the orange one again! Sunshine, and salads with orange peppers and grated carrots are just the ticket for you here Aries. That’ll set you right on your path again. With a spring in your step. As orange is a bold colour, and not a subtle one, it has almost as much oomph as red, and you could be hopping not walking. Such energy is also good in your relationship connections, romantic ones, social and work ones alike, there will be a return of humour, shared enthusiasm and joint passions. So, grab your broom get sweeping and get moving Aries.
