The Venus/Jupiter Conjunction. Your Horoscope for Venus in Taurus
Hooray! Venus enters its ruling sign of Taurus on April 29, 2024. With the Sun, new Moon (8th), Jupiter, and Uranus all present, this hands us all a lush, sensual Taurus weather front. Think of this as a luxury emotional vacation—a five-star resort where only the best is served. Of course, due to Uranus in here, the weather can change suddenly—just when we get comfortable and think: Another day in paradise.
But thanks to Jupiter’s presence in Taurus, that’s probably what we’ll experience. A pleasure or paradise peak experience thanks to the meeting between Venus and Jupiter on May 23. There are abundant and soul-expanding ways to love, create abundance and security in a new way, or simply be in the world.
Whatever this Venus transit sends you – understand that it is to see how well you receive as well as how you attract. Be the still waters which run deep. The dark horse. The mystery others want to unlock with the full Pink Moon in resonant, empowered Scorpio.
This is the first full Moon after the Spring (Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere), Equinox. Due to the eclipse at the time of the new Moon in Aries earlier this month, this full Moon symbolizes fresh growth and renewal. Fitting as Scorpio is the sign of rebirth. The term ‘Pink’ Moon comes from the wild phlox which blooms on the plains of North America at this time. Other names for this Moon include the Hare, Sap and Egg Moon. All are associated with spring.
Scorpio is a sign that is often misunderstood. Mainly because there’s so much going on below the surface. Or waiting for them to hatch in that egg! Emotions run deep with Scorpio. But they may not give this away as a private, secretive sign. They keep things under wraps until they know the other party can be trusted. Being granted access to a Scorpio’s vault is a privilege that has to be earned. But it is often this very private quality that boosts their magnetism and allure.
Full disclosure: there is a tricky T-Square. It might feel deeply uncomfortable. We are having what is comfortable split to release ourselves from the cocoon. Either way, there’s a sense of rebirth. And of looking at your circumstances through a radically different lens.

Jupiter meets Uranus in Taurus on April 21st, 2024. At 2.27 am UT time and at 21 degrees of Taurus. Boom or doom? Astrologers are divided on this. Taurus being the sign of money and markets (as in ‘Bull’ market). And the land of milk and honey to quote from the Steely Dan song above.
Jupiter rules opportunity, booms and of course, speculations and wins. Uranus – well, as I am fond of quoting Liz Green: If you can predict it – it’s not Uranus. Uranus rules amongst other things technology, think ‘current’ as it is associated with electricity. So in Taurus, ‘currency’ is an obvious association with the money markets. The wheels of commerce turning ‘round and ‘round. Taurus is also the sign of values, Jupiter rules global trade. Big business. Mass media and transport. Uranus rules Silicon Valley, tech billionaires, your X (formally known as Twitter) feed, your streaming service (look at the glyph for Uranus – it looks as if it has an old fashioned TV antenna on the top!). Elon Musk’s Starlink – totally Uranus. As are electric cars.
Jupiter and Uranus only meet up approximately once every 14 years. Jupiter bigs up everything. So, when it meets another planet, the conjunction massively increases that planets influence. Uranus revolutionises and awakens us from a dreaming state if that’s what we’ve fallen into in our land of milk and honey. You only have to look back at past Jupiter/Uranus conjunctions to see how this played out. From the fall of the Roman Empire to the American and French Revolutions. All kick-started by these two.
Jupiter/Uranus conjunctions don’t just bring us political revolutions but cultural ones as well. The conjunction of 1968 saw mass demonstrations against the war in Vietnam, the civil rights movement and feminism. This also marks the very beginning of the gay pride movements. Both planets are concerned with freedom.
Rock and Roll to Free My Soul
The 1954-55 conjunction gave us Elvis Presley and Bill Haley’s Rock Around the Clock. The 1968/69 conjunction Woodstock and Jimmy Hendrick’s rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
Comedy took a divisive turn then with the broadcast of the first Monty Python episode. David Bowie’s debut album launched. Got a message you want to take to the masses? Your Eclipse in Aries Moonscope April 8th 2024 – Life changing reveals
April 8 2024 brings the new Moon in self-determined, confident Aries. And a total eclipse of the Sun. This eclipse which occurs at 19o 24’ of Aries will be visible from the United States, Canada and Mexico. It will last for 4 minutes and 27 seconds which is unusually long – double that of the last eclipse to be visible from America on August 21, 2017.
If you are one of the lucky ones able to view this eclipse, ensure that you wear the proper eye protection. This is extremely important. You can suffer permanent damage to your vision without realising it. Do keep this in mind.
Total eclipses are total cover-ups. A complete blind spot. We are in the dark. And the dark can be where we can recharge and reclaim our power. Which is why we need to be mindful of an eclipse. But not necessarily fear them.
In the collective, we may see what was ‘covered up’ by the last American eclipse re-emerge. As the Sun and Moon align, take time to align our light and our shadows within. In their duality lies all our unlived power and potential, waiting to emerge.

The eclipse will be visible from the United States, Canada and Mexico and is one of the most powerful eclipses we have experienced so far this century. Added to this, Mercury which rules this house in your chart is retrograde. This is more than the usual eclipse cover-up. This is total confusion. Hence my advice to be clear and direct. And to keep in mind that whatever you are told may not be the big picture. And that picture is subject to change.
