Enjoyment goes hand-in-hand with reality this week. We have free flowing trines and sextiles dancing across the summer sky between planets in Cancer, Taurus and Saturn in Pisces. The appreciation of what we have at our disposal should not be tainted by unnecessary yearning for what we don’t. That simply dilutes the pleasure. And comparison is the joy killer. Do remember this.

However, this week sees Saturn slam on the brakes and head backwards in sensitive, intuitive and empathic Pisces. This is the start of a long, slow haul which will put us in touch with how things truly are – not how we would like them to be. Now, that doesn’t not mean Saturn is acting like a party pooper. The message with this full Moon for all signs is not to leave anything unfinished or undone if it is within our power to complete it. And then to embrace that feeling of satisfaction that can only come when we have pushed ourselves to do so. This full Moon is a call to find out just what we are capable of when we try.

June’s full Moon is known as the Strawberry Moon, Rose Moon, the Flower Moon or the Dyad Moon. It’s about the sweet taste or small of success. And emotional sweetness too. Coming up roses? You bet you can! Also taking time out to smell them and celebrate our milestones is an important emotional rite under it.

Capricorn is the sign of worldly success and attainment. Of establishment and the willingness to defer gratification for now in favour of longer term rewards later. So, if you’ve stuck to that path – even when obstacles were placed in front of you, this full Moon asks for one last concenrated effort to reach your goal. Do be aware of the emotional component of any success story. Which should be your idea of what success looks like. And not the traditional one peddled by the media and society at large. It’s your prize and your take out.

And then I discovered a great song on a very CANCER – like summer day in the company of a lovely VENUS, also CANCER. And so the birth of a Musical Realm called VENUS IN CANCER.

The transit of Venus through Cancer, sees the planet of relationships, beauty and creativity infused with heightened empathy and a desire to nurture. Venus in Cancer elevates our inner intuition and muse. We turn the simple acts of caring into an art form.

Robbie Basho (1940-1986), was an American composer, pianist and guitarist born with Venus in Cancer and who produced an album by the same name. You can listen to it on YouTube and it’s also available on Apple Music and Spotify. The quote above illustrates how Venus in Cancer can not only inspire us, but the link Robbie made to the transit – Venus in Cancer would have been his Venus return. Which would have enhanced his capabilities. Venus in this case became his muse.

The Gemini new Moon at 16 degrees of Gemini, is one of big new beginnings for every sign. Why? Because it is the first new Moon to coincide with Jupiter’s arrival in here which occurred last month on the 25th. So, it has been 12 years since this last happened.

This is a new Moon of big, fresh ideas. Nothing stale should be served. Just bigger visions and amazing results. All signs should run and check their charts for factors at 16 degrees in any house or sign within a one degree orb. This includes factors like your ascendant, IC, MC, descendant. As well as the nodes and asteroids. If you have them, this could be the start of something too big to miss.

Invest in those projects, plans and ideas. See how far they can take you. This new Moon will see these take flight. Especially for the air signs – birthday sign of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. And it will fan the flames of intention for the fire signs – the Aries, Leos and of course, the Sagittarians who are now in a year long major attraction cycle.
