NOA (again!)
Having seen diagrams of my work in the NOA magazine #491, I’m amazed to be featured again in #493 – this time it’s a double page spread of photos of my work and what I assume is a short bio underneath. I’m deeply honoured….

“Intriguing” available in English
“Intriguing Origami“, the collection of my designs published in Italian and French is finally available in English, well, American. They re-titled it, inappropriately, despite my protests. I also had to refold and re-shoot many of the images, since my original choice of papers was deemed unsuitable….

Meet the Maker
I had a great time demonstrating to the public at Sheffield Millenium Gallery over the weekend. A stream of visitors of all ages had a go and I met some really interesting people, including Cora from Takara Crafts who is running a similar session further down the line. Delighted to see fellow muso Peter Challoner and his family, who had driven up from Nottingham to see me.

You spin me round (like a record baby)
My mate Paul Hanson recently asked if I had a simple model he could teach at the London mini-meeting, so I sent him diagram for this, a spinner on a stand. I was delighted to receive a short video of the results!

More photos from my class at Watercliffe Meadow School. I’ve just been asked to return for a second year, which is a real honour.

Rhombic Unit in miniature
My freind Lee Armstrong alerted me to
a blog out there called Oka Origami, maintained by a guy called Alec, who I don’t think I know.
Anyway, he recently posted a series of shots showing how to assemble 60 of my rhombic units into a Rhombic Hexecontahedron!
He’s seems to be a fan of modular designs and folds/photographs them very well.
