To see our flag flying abroad always gives me a sense of pride but makes me wonder why the same flag is often ignored and abused back home. Our flag presently flies in Spain together with the flags of the Ibero-American nations who share our historic links with the 1812 Cadiz Constitution.

After 3 flights and almost 24 hours of air travel and airport lay-overs I'm finally in Cadiz, Spain to attend the 200th anniversary of the Cadiz Constitution of 1812 a.k.a "La Pepa." Senator Edgardo Angara could not attend due to the ongoing impeachment trial and was thoughtful enough to send me as his representative. Will post pix soon.
