The Absolute Proof

God is the source of all life. He is eternal, omnipresent, and omniscient. He dwells everywhere and sees everything. As the life that motivates our bodies is invisible (and will leave at death), so God cannot be seen with the human eye. The Bible likens Him to the invisible wind (see John 3:8).
He is nothing like man, but man (even in his "fallen" state) was made in the "likeness" of his Creator--he is separate from the animal king...

Welcome to Atheist church

"And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; John answered, saying to them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff h...

Spitting Image

Light travels 93 million miles to the earth from the surface of a massive and exploding* star. Although there are gravity and electromagnetic influences, it is generally believed that light travels in a straight line. An atheist ...

Christianity is Unfair...

Let's leave the extreme case of Hitler for a moment and look at the case of Joe Average. He is a normal re-blooded male. He lusts incessantly--at women on the street, at work, on billboards, in movies and on TV. However, every time he looks at a woman in such a way, he is committing adultery (see Matthew 5:27-28).
It wouldn't be a...

The Sales Pitch

If you and I had dinner together, I wouldn't bring up the subject of God, unless you did. That's because you have heard it all before, and because I am capable of carrying on a conversation about other things....

Welcome once again to Atheist church.

Today's sermon is from Luke 3:
"And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? He answered and said to them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has meat, let him do likewise. Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said to him, Master, what shall we do? And he said to...

Proselytizing Moslems

It seems that this question is important to you because you have asked this about as many times as you have asked how old I considered the earth to be. So I will try to give you an answer.
I never preach outside of Mosques, Kingdom Halls, Indian Temples, etc., in an attempt to proselytize. However, if I saw a crowd of people who happened to be sitting around outside...

Great Book!

He was the son of a war hero, who became rich but made a mess of his life after committing adultery. He inherited his father's wealth and became even richer than him. That's when he began writing about good investments, ...
