The Sins of the Fathers

There are many theories as to what caused Adolf Hitler to subject millions to the horrors of Nazi Germany. Experts have closely profiled many mass murderers to see if there was something in their past that triggered their own particular path of evil. Some had bad childhoods, but others didn't. Take the case of Jeffery Dahmer:

He was born to two parents who loved him. He was wanted, loved and cherished. How did this great start in life turn into the beginning of a story of one of America's most...

The Evolution of Stupidity

"Ray, humans are all primates... We're not stupid, despite what you may think." Blu

I have to be blunt; I do think that those who believe in evolution aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Here's what evolutionists believe (oops! I have to remember--they don't "believe" anything). Okay, here's then what evolution folks think. They think that evolution has no intelligence. It is responsible for the making (oops! I blew it again, by using the word "making," when evolution doesn't make anythin...

Welcome to Atheist church

Today's sermon is a little unusual in that it's nothing but the genealogy of Jesus. While modern man traces himself back to apes, the Bible traces us all back to Adam, and this was the case of Jesus of Nazareth:

23And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
24Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph,
25Which...

Good News and Bad News

Good news for atheists. Australia has a new prime minister, and she doesn't believe in the existence of God. Finally atheists can say that not all politicians need to pay lip-service to God to bring in votes. That's how it's been done from Hitler to Clinton to Bush to Obama.

There's something particularly nauseating about hearing a political candidate mouth off a well-placed "God bless you," and seeing him clutch a shrink-wrapped Bible as he goes in to church. But that all changed with this n...

Trying to Slow Down Science...

"I completely agree we will never change Ray's mind. Nevertheless, he is dangerous, putting silly fears in weak minds and trying to slow (even more) the scientific education in the USA (and other parts of the world)." Albert

I often have people step into my crowd when I am preaching, as the intellectual savior of the poor unthinking masses. As far as he is concerned they don't have the brains to know if what I am saying makes sense. He thinks that he is there to do them a favor, not realizing...

Let's face it...

"Let's face it, God has never had a whole, consistent, set of instructions that He's enforced from the start of time up to present day." Darkknight56

I'm sure you have heard of the Ten Commandments. They were originally written in stone about 3,000 years ago, and they are still around today in other forms so that you can see what God requires of you. It's His whole, consistent set of instructions so that you would have an idea of what you are in for on Judgment day. The Law was given as a mir...

Ants and Atheists

Ray, Why are so many of the things you speak (write) of, unspeakable? Craig

Think of a colony of ants. By some miracle you are able to go down and speak to them. Your job is to tell them that there's a universe out there, and that life is more than just what they see as their little colony.

Your first hurdle is their concept of the word "big." To them, a tennis ball is massive, so how are you going to communicate what you know about the universe? I would say that all you can do it draw on any ...

Welcome to atheist church.

I hope you had a great week.

Today's thought-provoking and fascinating video is extremely unique. I have carefully watched it three times. When you look at each person, even the young boys holding onto the back of the car, ask yourself, "Where are they all now?"

Today's sermons is once again from the Gospel of Luke:

"But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done...

Could You Change Your Mind?

"If I witnessed a miracle, or was party to a supernatural event that defied rational explanation (i.e water into wine, a bush burning that was never consumed, etc.) I am intellectually honest enough to say that I am wrong and reconsider my worldview. Can you say likewise? Are you honest enough to say that something could change your mind? Or are you utterly blinded by your faith?" T

We have a problem that you don't seem to be able to understand. A Christian is someone who knows God (see John 1...
