New website goes live!

Sevenwaters in French

A French edition of Daughter of the Forest will be published in October by L'Atalante. I'm delighted to announce that this publisher has also acquired the rights to Son of the Shadows.

Future of the Bridei Series

Oh, and how much I want to write a fourth book in the Bridei Chronicles! However, my American publisher is not so keen, and this is still just a possibility for the future.

Future of the Wildwood Series

I've been asked by readers to provide an update about the projected third book in the Wildwood series. Before my cancer diagnosis (see News) I was intending to write the following: 2009: Song of the Island (sequel to Heir to Sevenwaters); 2010: Wildwood book 3; 2011: sequel to Song of the Island. Obviously, the fact that I've had an operation and am now in the middle of many weeks of cancer treatment has had a major impact on my ability to complete Song of the Island by the end of 2009, and I...

Sevenwaters Novella in 2010

The fantasy anthology Dreamtime: Australian Legends of Fantasy, for which I contributed a Sevenwaters novella, is still on track. It seems publication by HarperCollins Australia will be in 2010. Look out for this, as my novella, 'Twixt Firelight and Water, is a 'missing link' in the Sevenwaters story.
