HWA Specialty Press Award 2017

StokerCon 2018/Providence (Stati Uniti): Sono onorato di aver ricevuto ieri sera, durante la cerimonia dei Bram Stoker Awards, il premio Specialty Press Award 2017 per la mia casa editrice Independent Legions. Michael Bailey, dello Staff di Editing , ha accettato il premio per me, non avendo potuto intervenire personalmente alla cerimonia. Sotto trovare un video del momento della consegna del premio.
Questo risultato straordinario, ancor più per una casa editrice Italiana, lo condivido con tutto lo Staff Independent Legions che sta lavorando con grande passione e professionalità.

Preordinabile sullo store dell'editore Independent Legions 'Il Giardino delle Delizie - Killer Version', prima edizione Italiana della mia raccolta di racconti 'The Garden of Delight', opera che ha recentemente ricevuto una nomination allo Splatterpunk Awards 2018 per la categoria 'Best Collection'. Dalla recensione: (...) 5 racconti sanguinosi, perversi e disturbanti sull'osceno circo delle meraviglie, il Suprême, dove si esibiscono freak di ogni tipo: dalla classica donna barbuta al clown a due teste, da mutazioni raccapriccianti come bambini lombrico agli spettacoli porno-cannibalici di Vivien Duemila Chili. A chiudere il romanzo il racconto extra "Midnight Baby - Horror Lolita", dove una bambina vittima di abusi da parte del padre e dei suoi amici depravanti diventerà, una volta cresciuta, una spietata omicida. (...) Battiago riesce a disgustarsi, scioccarci, farci sentire profondamente a disagio. Supreme è una portata ricca e sanguinosa che solo i palati estremi possono apprezzare, un'opera senz'altro coraggiosa che lascia il segno. (...)
