Celebrate with me. Book 6 of the Max Hamby series is complete and now on to editing to get ready for you and the rest of the world. Woo-Hoo!!! I started book 7, Max Hamby and the Ember Moon yesterday, as well.

I hope you're weekend was a great one. I think I told you about the clay gnomes I was working on?? If not, yes, I was working on several clay gnomes. Love to sculpt. Never made a gnome before and thought I'd give it a shot. I think they came out pretty good and will post pics soon.
I also finished a fun clay figurine of a little red haired girl. Super colorful and cute. I'll share pics of her, too.

I am up way too early and will regret later, but with ALOT of coffee, that just means more #amwriting time. I finished chapter 30 of book 6 yesterday and realized that was not the end of the story, so working on chapter 31 today.

LOL. I haven't done it in a long time, but I used to do more than squat. I didn't care who was around me or what section I was in, especially in Borders Books & Music. Man, I miss that store. They had every book you could imagine and I used to be in the reference section on my hands and needs, crawling along the floor just to get to the very bottom shelf. LOL. Good times. :P

Happy 4th of July!

Good Morning!

Happy 4th everyone and Happy Tuesday to those that don't celebrate.
I hope it's a wonderful day for all of you.
LOL, I try to go to bed at a decent hour. I'm not one to be up late, but if the book I'm reading is that good, then I'm usually a little zombie-ish the next day. Last night was one of those nights I used my "quitter strip" late.

​Oh, speaking of bookmarks, books, etc. I was (kind of) oblivious to the HP 20th anniversary. I know, I know. Can you believe it? Anyway, I found some really good quotes from the books (or movies) and thought I'd share. Luna Lovegood. She is one of my favorite characters. I loved the way Evanna Lynch really made her come alive in the movies.


Okay, enough of that for the moment, my friends. It's time to get down to work. The ending of book 6 is soooo close. I finished 27 and 28 between yesterday and the day before, but Max and the other characters keep giving me more to write, so maybe it will end at chapter 29 or 30.
