It's 200 pages of magical goodness and it doesn't stop there. The series is (tentively) a seven book series, but you never know. There's so much going on, it could quite possible turn into 8 books. (we'll see. ;) ) Next up is Max Hamby and the Amethyst Guardian. There are alot of characters and creatures, but the story is about Max and what and who he encounters. He's 12, but that doesn't mean the series is only for 12 & under. It's great for adults, too. Give an indie a try.

I think Spring is finally here. The weather has warmed slightly, the robins are out to play and there is a different feel in the air. I love Spring. It is my favorite time of year.

I think Spring is finally here. The weather has warmed slightly, the robins are out to play and there is a different feel in the air. I love Spring. It is my favorite time of year.

There's a huge giveaway for the month of April that includes alot of self published authors and I am one of them. My book is set to be given away on April 7th. It's the ebook version, but it includes books 1 through 3 of the Max Hamby series. If you click the link below and scroll down, you'll see it. Book 6 is coming along. I went back over the chapters I had previously written and realized I had squished ALOT of info into the 3 that were done. I became stuck and couldn't figure out why. Well, I've pulled them apart and all is good again. There are 5 chapters now. From here on out, it's a matter of putting all the puzzle pieces together, so to speak. There's so much that happens between this book and the last one. It will be really exciting and I can't wait to share it with you.
I want to give a big shout out to all my readers/supporters. You all are so appreciated and I couldn't be happier that you're enjoying the series so far. I do have to say, the UK is awesome. The Max Hamby series is getting so much love from across the "pond" and I can't thank you enough.

Shadowlands
FUN FACT:
The Shadowlands is not a place to gather socially.
It's a place where only the most despicable are sent (and sometimes innocents).
There is no sense of time or direction. All inhabitants are surrounded by a thick, white fog. There is no shelter or food. There is merely existence, until there isn't.
Eventually, one of three things happen.
He or she escapes, which is impossible. He or she turns into shadowshifters or shifters for short. There a handful who have been smart enough to use the transformation to their advantage. ie: Trinnean and Gerrick Ravensadale.
Many just remain within the confines of the Shadowlands as dark, howling forms within the white mist.
Finally, for those that don't turn into shifters and or escape, the Shadowlands slowly eats away at their existence, until there is nothing left and they simply fade away.
