F-250 Wheelbarrows
We're not fans of the swollen mega-truck genre (talk about a crisis in masculinity!) but when they are organized as real work trucks, with utility boxes and an absence of chrome festooning, we can think of them as, sorta, wheelbarrows. Or, Toolchest Trucks.

Mercury Grand Marquis
From somewhere in the mid-90s. The Ford LTD posted last week was one FoMoCo generation earlier. AL caught this car in Cambridge, where 4-door, rear-wheel-drive old-time family haulers are rare specimens. Have a thing for Mercurys---by the time I was 9 my father was consulting me on which car to buy, and I went for the 1965 Mercury Montclair, with a 'Breezeway' rear window. Best family car we ever had. The 1965 Montclair below went shockingly cheap on BaT, a few years ago.In Canada, there were Mercury trucks, like this 1948 M-47, and the 1951 M-3 we caught in Nova Scotia a while back. This Mercury Monarch was another Canada-only model. And we have posted a 1966 Mercury 100 from...Saskatchewan.

Chevy to the levée
It is still a beautiful country, and it is on us all to take care of it. And the boat down there?

1938 Cherolet coupe, Banff.
From Alex Emond, in Banff: " I was surprised to see this out in the "Industrial Compound" today. Don't know who owns it, or any details. Have to assume that there's some horsepower under the hood. Beautiful design– cramped interior, though, basically a two-seater. A treat."AL: Compare to a Ford coupe of the same era. And a--spectacular–'38 Ford coupe. A 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe. And this '48 Ford coupe in Waldo County, Maine.

Land Rover, 1966.
Restored, yes. Ford V-8 and Ford 4-speed. Our favorite L-R is Grizzly Torque. Interesting that this model was marketed as a 'station wagon' in the US, a phrase that would have meant very little in the UK. But mid-Sixties was peak of suburban wagon-fest in North America.

1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria
From Reid Cunningham: "I've passed this very nice LTD in Exeter, NH and finally had a chance to stop while there was still daylight. Seems like a great price for a reliable daily driver & vintage driver, all in one. The naming convention–this is the Crown Victoria model of the LTD–reminded me that model names used to drip upwards to the top-line trim model over time, often requiring even higher-level names. The LTD was the fancier version of the basic full-sized Ford. Then all the full-sized Fords became LTD's, and the top line was the Crown Victoria (with that lovely half landau roof and trim). Eventually, all full sized Fords were Crown Victorias. Same happened with the full sized Chevrolets. In the 50's the Bel Air was the top line, by the early 70's it had migrated all the way to the bottom (AL: or maybe 1 step up from the plainjane Biscayne) and the Caprice was the top line. Eventually all full sized Chevrolets were Caprices. Same for the Chevy II becoming the top-line Nova, etc."AL: we posted a '56 Crown Vic from Sedgwick, Maine a couple of weeks ago

Hot Pony
A lot of the first-gen Mustangs were sedate little cars: Ford Falcons with a hot body. We're guessing this is a 1966 Mustang, and it looks like it maybe ain't no Falcon.
