c. 1952 Plymouth DeLuxe, etc.

From Alex Emond: "The Plymouth Special DeLuxe is sitting outside a garage in Lafleche, Saskatchewan, along with a c.1950 Chevy. An autobody experience...yet another funky Plymouth, up for grabs. I didn't talk to anyone about the price, but it can't be much. The interior is shot; the glass is toast, but I have seen vehicles starting like this and ending up amazing . All you need is hundreds of hours, thousands of dollars, tools, and...skills. I am lacking at least three of those assets. Still , I love these early 50's cars, the pre- fin zone."

Alex caught another Plymouth DeLuxe a few years back.  And we remember the 1950 Chevy  aka Suite 50 in Banff.

1979 Jeep Cherokee

Markus Anstadt caught the Cherokee in Denver. It's always been in one family. Here's a 1977 Cherokee that was up on BaT a while ago. And then there was James McGurk's road trip in a Cherokee...

1965 Chrysler 300L

From Alex Emond: "Sitting in front of a house in Fife Lake, Saskatchewan. A tiny place down close to the Montana border. Aggressive lines ... I like the way the rear fender skirts carry that straight line through. Big V8. Two door.  This car has something to say, like "CULATER!"

We posted another 1965 Chrysler 300 from Denver a while back. And here's a '66 Chry;er 300.

Daihatsu Atrai, Vermont.

From Jonathan Welsh: "These tiny (by U.S. standards) 1980s and '90s vehicles are quite hip these days, especially among younger drivers. Now that they are old enough to be imported without a whole lot of red tape, these "kei"-category micro vans, including the Honda Acty, Suzuki Every and Subaru Sambar, have formed enthusiast communities in the States.  I kinda love them. They are to Gen-Z as '57 Chevys are to Boomers."

AL: We have posted several of these imports, like this Honda Acty in Colorado, and another Acty also from JW, in NJ. Then there was s Mitsubishi 4wd van in St Louis, with links in that post to several more Japanese vans that first appeared in North America on the west coast of Canada.

1966 Mercedes-Benz 230SL

We're a bit late posting these photos from Markus Anstadt: "Thought I would get this to you before someone else submits a Halloween themed car. Actually appears to be an unrestored 230SL with the hardtop."

AL: last 230SL we posted was a 1968, out on the Naskeag Road. And  perhaps you recall this 1954 Mercedes Benz 220 Cabriolet. We have posted a lot on the medium-sized Benzi, including this vegan Mercedes-Benz 300CD
