My Secret Love (2022)

 My Secret Love was the classical college romance, nice male leads, enemies to lovers thrope, separation and reunion and HEA. Nice side characters, even if it was a little bit strange that three apparently straight guys, friends between them, all fell in love with men. Indeed my preferred couple, even more than Kim and Mek, were Lee and Park: I would have not minded to see more about them, probably a series centered around them would have been more interesting than Kim and Mek. Pit Babe (2023)

 I wanted to like Pit Babe more than I actually did. The first episode was perfect, Babe was so sexy and Charlie had the right amount of goofiness to make him adorable but not irritating. I was really enjoying it, and also the Alpha/Omega hints were nice. But sincerely I got sort of bored after that, and instead of feeling for the characters, when they were unhappy (like Babe after the supposed death of Charlie), everything seemed forced. I think this was a good plot with right actors, but it was probably the adaptation from the novel (which I read) that didn't work. HEA. You can see it on iQIYI. Heat Level: 5/6.

Love Stage!! (2022)

 I have seen the Japanese movie and anime of Love Stage!! and they differ a bit from the Thai series, but the concept is more or less the same. In the Japanese version, Ryo is a little less "cool", he is also coming out like being older than Anda, and therefore there is a stark contrast between them. In the series Ryo and Anda are basically same age, and both inexperienced. Therefore the dynamics between them are sweeter. Indeed, in the series Anda is more aware of his potential as Ryo's partner, and I think he is teasing Ryo a little bit. I like this side of Anda, he appears less overwhelmed by the events and more decisive. HEA. Heat Level: 4/6.

Love Class (2022)

 I really liked Love Class, not sure why it's not rated higher. Cha Ji Woo and Lee Ro Ah are cute together, the appointments they go to complete their class project are sweet, and Lee Ro Ah is exactly the male lead I prefer, attentive and sexy, but not imposing, not hiding or crushing his partner with his persona. Really liked also the evolution of Cha Ji Woo, it was not immediate, but gradually he fell in love with a man, something that he wasn't expecting. But it's not like he is shocked or in denial, and I like that in him. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala, Viki and WeTV. Heat Level: 3/6.

La Cuisine (2022)

 At first I was really liking La Cuisine. The couple Ram and Lukchup was cute and sweet, I love when the seme, Ram, is this handsome guy who is kind and sweet, even if he could well be arrogant, he is instead down to heart. Lukchup was maybe a little bit too much sweet and cute, edging irritation sometime, but they managed to not fall into it. But then they decided to give the series a nasty turn with the wanna-be girlfriend of Ram... that side of the story was so bad, that it ruined basically all the series. True, you can ignore it, but it's a sour point. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala. Heat Level: 2/6.
