Ben Carson says Islam is a ‘life organizational system’ not a religion
Mother Jones has an interesting article up in which Ben Carson said in a speech in Iowa that ISIS is dangerous because of what the Quran says and who Muhammad was. While parts of what he says are not wrong, the religion is not the religion of peace that many claim it to be, he does seem to miss the irony in that Christianity really is no different.

Atheists often, and rightfully, complain that we never have presidential candidates to vote for who do not spend day and night pandering to the religious at every chance they get and often groveling for the evangelical vote that is always owned by the most radical Republican candidate.
Richard Dawkins uninvited from skeptic conference after sharing sexist video
I only caught the tail of this today as I saw biologist Richard Dawkins apologizing for sharing a video that he did not notice called for violence against women.After Dawkins shared the now deleted tweet many people started tweeting to him shocked he would share such a horrible video and Dawkins seemed honestly shocked that he had done so. A case of sharing something he thought was likely innocent but didn't actually watch the video.
