A former Ohio seminary student was arrested by federal agents in San Diego, California for trying to have sex with infants in Mexico, accordint to authorities.

A judge in Oregon has ruled that Ammon Bundy and his ragtag group of terrorist friends are a threat the society and were denied bail after prosecutors successfully argued that they used threatening language during the recent armed takeover of a wildlife sanctuary.

Bill Maher says Republicans aren’t even lying anymore, they are just making stuff up
We are all rather used to the idea of Republican's lying about the issues facing our nation for votes. They tell us that legalized same-sex marriage would ruin the country, they tell us tornados are God's way of punishing us for abortion. Yet, according to Bill Maher, those days of "zombie lies" are behind us, and the GOP is now just making stuff up as they go.

Ben Carson says Islam is a ‘life organizational system,’ not a religion
Mother Jones has an interesting article up in which Ben Carson said in a speech in Iowa that ISIS is dangerous because of what the Quran says and who Muhammad was. While parts of what he says are not wrong, the religion is not the religion of peace that many claim it to be, he does seem to miss the irony in that Christianity really is no different.
