#TeaserTuesday – 1/24/2017 –Tow Trucks & New Year’s Kisses
Since I’m gearing up to the next book in the series, here’s a little tease of Tow Trucks & New Year’s Kisses. Enjoy!
The rumble of an engine brought him back to his cold predicament. He adjusted his fedora and covered his mouth with his scarf as he moved closer to his brother’s Jag to signal the newcomer. It had been thirty-nine minutes. At least they had arrived before he froze his balls off. The truck lights illuminated the area, making Patrick cover his eyes. It took him a moment to readj...

Trucking
Steven reached across the car’s middle console for another kiss, but he had to cut it short. No way he’d be late for his first day at work. More like pre-dawn, but he was excited nevertheless.
“Good luck,” Jim said, adding a quick peck to their good-bye.
“Thanks, babe. See you in a couple of hours. Well, if I don’t crash one of the trucks first.”
“Stop fidgeting. Trucking is in your blood. Go ahead, people need their alcohol, and you’re just stalling.”
“Fine.” Steven exited his boyf...

2017 #ROW80 Round 1:Check-In #6 |10 Minute Novelist: Update #3
This year, I’m taking a different approach to marketing. I’m trying to be more proactive. My holiday short story did well, but I don’t think it reached beyond a handful of professional readers and reviewers. The majority of the reviews it received were through an ARC management service I contacted.
I had a release day blitz, but I didn’t get to do a blog tour due to some communication issues. I can’t complain about the end result....

#RainbowSnippets *~* January 21-22, 2017 *~*
I’m ready to find out if Elliott’s daddy is as evil as he looks like. I think he isn’t but will see. I love finding out, every week, just like the rest of you.
Week 9 of 52: Elliott’s POV[story continues right after the last entry]
Hello, son. Missed me?”
Elliott tilted his head, amused by his father’s entrance. Only to have him mimic all his movements. “You know this aren’t the Dark Ages? You don’t have to make a production every time you show up.”
“Is that how you greet your father?”
Ellio...

[Fridays with Favorites] Came Upon a Midnight Clear by Katie Porter
[image error]This is not the first time I talk about CameUpon a Midnight Clear. The last time it was back in September 2015. In my post, I mentioned wanting to re-read this book, and I did in December 2016. Make that two times for someone who doesn’t re-read. I wanted to read it last Christmas for the third time but got other pretties in the way. I did buy a paper copy, though. The only MM printed book I own. I don’t even have any of my stories in print. Sad, I know… lol

30 Weeks of Kink: Week #3 – 1/19/2017
Week 3:How did you discover you were kinky?
I discovered BDSM through reading. The first storyI read was Lorcan’s Desireby S.J.D. Peterson back in 2013 and haven’t stopped since. The more I read, the more interested I was in knowing more. That’s when I joined the BDSM group on Goodreads.
A couple of days later, I received their newsletter with the announcement of their first writing event, and the rest is history. I wrote two stories for the 2015 Kink on Ink series, Binding Jax’s Heart, which...

2017 #ROW80 Round 1: Update #5
With the kids out of school on Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the last three days had flown by. On top of that, my ten-year-old science fair project was due today. Yes, last night she went to bed on time and Iended up gluing the last data slides on the project board. But that’s because I’m way too much of a helicopter mom.
This same kid decided to take violin classes after school. Therefore, two days a week I have to go pick her up after her y...

Summoned
The dashboard clock had moved only a handful of minutes from the last time Dimitri checked it. He gazed down at his cellphone just to see it shutdown—out of battery. He jumped. Startled by the wind hitting the side of the car. The layers of snow on the windshield thickening faster than he thought possible.
Taking a deep breath, he released it before opening the passenger door. He adjusted his glasses and saw a figure coming toward him. As if summoned, Sasha had returned. Hopefully,...
