Ben Powell - Rise
This video beautifully demonstrates the links between dance and music.
Violinist Ben Powell and composer Thomas Pansch make subtle use of classical composition techniques to create an evocative soundscape. The musical impressionism is complemented perfectly here by the visual direction of Joshua Lipton.

Originality on display at the group class May 5th, 2014
We had a great group class on Monday evening. Four bright young women surprised me, and possibly themselves, with their varied and imaginative interpretations of Palm Beach as seen from West Head.

Check out the amazing variations created by Marion, Tina, Danielle and Katrina. This proves to me yet again that "originality" is not something that has to be strived for, we are all original. Each person has their own way of seeing the world, their own preferences, sensitivities and tastes. Painting is a great way to explore your relationship with the world through colour, light and form. Thank you ladies, it is a privilege to be involved in facilitating these creative processes

An Aussie abroad
It's great when an Aussie gets up on the world stage. Car Orr has been up there for a while now, and his creative energies seem to grow each year. Check out his latest project (featuring drum legend Billy Cobham) and get involved:
