I was pretty lucky to have had my father present every day growing up, and he has been a blessing in my life. But if you haven’t had the same luck in that department don’t feel any less! Don’t feel your value as a woman or man is diminished because an imperfect man wasn’t knowledgeable in the importance of being a father. What I can also tell you is that your creator above made you, and he gave you life! That’s the source of your identity! Place your eyes on your creator first before any man! #LettersToTheMenIHaveLoved// There’s this thing called free-will & with it we create our path. We become a product of our choices. I’ve made some pretty bad decisions, but then again I’ve also made some great ones. But one thing I’ve learned is that whatever & whoever is meant to be part of your life if you’re open to them, the opportunities will arise. We simply have to make the jump. And that’s the part most people don’t do. They won’t jump and try to achieve their dreams, they won’t jump at a new love, because of fear. Fear of rejection, fear of not being good enough, fear of failing. It’s sad to see how many lives are crippled as a result of fear. #MMCM #SaturdayWisdom
