Music Moves Me
Dear Readers,
I have been asked about my playlists.
Music inspires me when I'm writing. Sometimes I hear a song that helps me create a scene. Sometimes the lyrics and melody fit a situation I'm writing about perfectly.
Each of my stories has its own playlist. The songs and the artists are credited within the chapters.
The song below is a perfect example of my many selections. The book is THE CARTER CHRONICLES. It is the story of the lifetime dream of Rhys Carter, a man of vision, determination, intelligence, strength and sex appeal. It is the story of unexpected love and, against all odds, ultimate success.

A bit of Thanksgiving Dessert
Chapter Five
His eyes fluttered open. He smiled as the warmth and scent of her registered against his skin and in his nose. He (tightened his arms, squeezing her lightly), and pressed his lips against the tangled mass of dark curls glued to the side of her head before slowly unfurling his body from hers. (Lying) on his side, he propped his head up on his fist and gazed down at her in the early morning light. Still sleeping, she was lying on her back, her head turned away from him, her upper body exposed. He stared at her smooth, amber-colored skin in wonder as his brain filed away images of every angle and curve. He leaned down to kiss the tender flesh of her right breast. The dark brown nipple was relaxed and supple now that she lay in repose. He noted the gentle, sloping outline of the rest of her body beneath the covers. One arm was bent at the elbow while the other lay by her side. Her slightly parted legs stretched out long and straight.
