HER MAN...
As she turned to make her way back into the Great Room, to her surprise, she discovered that only a part of her was perturbed about Moira and the lust that Brie had read in her eyes. Hey, she married a hot man and having other women wanting him was part of the deal. And, although it might bother her now and again, she could live with that.
Matthew closed the massive front doors. His eyes immediately zeroed in on her. “Brie?”
God, his voice was like liquid gold. She stopped and turned to meet his gaze. And once he had her in his sights...to put it simply, she was done for. Her body instantly responded. “Yes? You wanted me?” she answered, trying to sound matter-of-fact.
His eyes said it all as they raked over her body. He knew the effect he was having on her. He started toward her, a wide smile overtaking his expression. She watched the way he moved as his long legs quickly closed the distance between them.
A quiet sigh escaped her. Yes, it appeared that women were always going to be attracted to her husband. On the other hand, if he ever even thought about looking at another woman...she’d break his dick off, she thought, returning his smile with one of her own.
Matthew wrapped one arm around her and pulled her against him. Dipping his head, he kissed her. His kiss was gentle. Sensual. With a hint of hunger.
“Everything alright?” he asked, pulling back to examine her face for any signs of distress.
His scent. His touch. The taste of him. She took a moment to catch her breath. She could feel the heat of desire pooling between her thighs. Slipping her arms around his waist, her voice dropped so that only he could hear her answer. “Yes,” she said emphatically. “Everything is absolutely perfect.”
