With the arrival of summer, the abundance of strawberries are everywhere--from my local store to the farmer's market. I slice and stuff them into scones, over ice cream...

Welcome to tea time in the Tavern on Friday Feast! The month of May is zipping by and it's been a long week. I'm struggling with a continued knee injury. Moving slowly is not in my DNA, but if I'm going to heal, I'm must learn to be patient.

A daily ritual in the afternoon is my cup of tea. It's time to pause while writing, doing edits, or creating a blog post for all the lovely readers. I've solved plot issues, character battles, and researched valuable information over a pot of tea. It's soo...

Friday Feast | Horses, Kentucky, and Pie

If you've read my stories, then you know I always have a horse (or two, or three) woven into the tale. I adore and love these majestic animals. Usually, they'd announce their viewpoint in a scene—often disagreeing with a loud snort to what the other characters are saying.
