I Need A Glam Squad Each and Every Day of My Life.
Like most of the world I was glued to my television when the Duchess of Cambridge, Katherine Middleton appeared on the steps of St. Mary’s church with Princess Charlotte. The only words that came out of my mouth were “Simply Gorgeous”. Katherine of Cambridge had given birth less than 10 hours earlier and she looked incredible. Her chestnut brown hair was flawless, her hands were absolutely beautiful and the glow on her face was perfection. It was at that moment I realized what was missing from my life “A Glam Squad”.
I need a whole team to make me look that beautiful and I am not even having a baby. I need hair, makeup and clothes each and every day I step out my front door just as if the world is watching.

The other day I was cleaning out my closet and I found a watch, an umbrella, galoshes and a picture of the moon.  

The Watch
The purple and gold watch was a flight of fancy that hit me last year. For some crazy reason I bought a watch. I have never been one to wear watches although I admire them on the arms of others and in catalogs. The watch was still in the box and had never been opened. Rather than open it and disturb it I put it on the top shelf with a note for my daughter.
Dear, Shelby,
I found this watch on April 23, 2015. It’s new and has never been worn. I kinda, sorta remember purchasing it last year. I am putting it on the top shelf of my closet so that after I am gone you can find it and remember what a nut job your mom was.
Always Mom
The Umbrella
I love umbrellas and I love to lose umbrellas. It’s not unusual for me to buy two or three umbrellas at once only to find on rainy days I have no umbrella to speak of.  The umbrella I found in my closet was bout about two years ago because it reminded me of singing in the rain.
 Galoshes
Like umbrellas I love galoshes. They always make me smile and think of singing in the rain. I remember buying the galoshes at a rummage sale for 25cent about five years ago. They haven't gotten much use but I still love them.
 The Moon

I always wanted to be an astronaut. If not for a lack of aptitude in math and science I could have conquered space. I feed my love of the moon with random pictures of the moon that allow me to dream.
 I live random unconnected things.

I love tuna. It’s a private indulgence that often has me up at the crack of dawn indulging in my favorite treat.  Over the past year I have perfect my tuna palate by adding lot of different ingredients. Walnuts, apples, grapes, pecans, raisins  are just a few.

Give me a tuna on whole wheat and I'll consider you a friend for life!

I love the Hallmark Channel. I can always count on the Hallmark to feed my need for happily ever after. I love the fact that romance is alive and well cased on the Hallmark Channel movies. I often spend my Sundays in bed with a good book and the Hallmark Channel.

The world would have you believe that good old fashioned romance is dead. Not the Hallmark Channel. Every week a woman or a man finds the desire of their heart, love. If you have ever been in love then the Hallmark Channel is for you. Each movie makes you yearn for happily ever after.  then you must indulge in the Hallmark Channel.

I have fallen head over heels in love with the color orange. In the words of a poet “it moves me”.
