Billy Go’s Beginner Korean Course | #23: The Verb 하다

In this lesson you'll learn how to use the verb 하다, and learn when it can be used with other nouns to create new verbs. I'll also cover how to use the object marker together with 하다.

Remember that this series goes in order, so if this is your first time I recommend starting from the very first episode.

Picking the best Korean dictionary | Korean FAQ

I won't go into specific brands of dictionaries (there are too many), but I wanted to discuss the pros and cons to each type of dictionary.

This video will compare online dictionaries, electronic dictionaries, and paper dictionaries.

For me, I use an online dictionary exclusively - and nothing else.

Which do you use and why?

Billy Go’s Beginner Korean Course | #22: Going Places

In this episode you'll learn how to use the particle 에.

에 can be used in a variety of situations, mainly to show the direction that motion is going - such as saying that you're going "to" somewhere.

It can also be used to show the location that something is at - such as with the verb 있다.

With this lesson begins a new feature - native audio files.

Along with each conversation (or practice) you'll now also be getting audio files of native speakers, in addition to my regular explanations.

Also in this episode Keykat speaks again....

It's time we finally learn how to conjugate the 요 form, and this lesson is going to be a bit long.

Let's cover all of the main conjugation rules for making the 요 form, so we can use any verb we want to make simple present tense sentences.
