Into the Abyss 2nd Edition
Hi,
So Demons of Astlan Volume I: Into the Abyss, Second Edition is making its way through the forests of Amazon and CreateSpace.
The Dead Tree Edition is available now on Create Space: Create Space
If you want a physical copy, you can use the code: 8XT94MM9 and get $5.00 off. This coupon only works at CreateSpace (which is not Amazon even though it is owned by them, so Prime shipping doesn't apply)
The e-book version should show up magically on the various Amazon sites over the next few days.
If you own the e-book already and have updates turned on for your e-books, then your various Kindle libraries will auto update.
What's different:
1) New Cover
2) Professionally edited
3) Larger appendices moved to end of book rather than being between chapters (small ones are still inline)
Same story, nothing new added. So you aren't missing anything if you don't update...other than some typos and wrong word choices.

When to expect the Heavenly Host to descend.
Hi,
The Heavenly Host are finding themselves delayed by an alignment of outside forces.
One, I have to finish and then we have the beta session and more time delaying:
Waiting for Cover Art (2nd half June) and the Editor's Schedule (July).
Thus the current timeline is that the Host shall depart Tierhallon on or about August 1st and most likely reach Astlan and Amazon sometime around August 7th or so.
(I.e. I need to review Editor changes/suggestions and then format/publish)

Year End Clearance on Demons!
Hi,
The year is coming to a close, and my demons need a home for the Holidays.
They don't celebrate Christmas much (being demons and such), but they love a good Fruitcake! They've got the teeth to actually eat the stuff, and a digestive tract to handle it as well.
Demons are also the perfect holiday gift. It's very easy to "give a kindle book" just click the "Gift this book" link on the book's page.
In order to help you with your last minute shopping with a virtual stocking stuffer, and to give my demons some place to party during the darkest days of the year, I'm doing a year end Kindle Countdown Sale!
The sale will start midday on Christmas Eve, and I'm going to keep the price at $0.99 through the end of Christmas Day, before it goes up to $1.99.
The sale ends fairly early in the day on New Years Eve.
So plan now to give the gift of a demon this holiday!

Great news for demon lovers in the UK, not only does the U(nited) still exist in the UK, but as of today there's an extra KU in the UK.
That's right, Amazon has announced Kindle Unlimited in the UK and Demos of Astlan: Into the Abyss is available for free downloading by KU-UK members!

Just wanted to remind everyone that www.astlan.net is the official website for the book.
On the site you will find more information from the Council Library, Maps of Astlan Book I and II.
Tizzy hosts an active discussion forum, where Lenamare, Wylan (of Oorstemoth) and I all stop in from time to time.
Tizzy is more than happy to take questions on how things work in the book (or how he thinks they work) and give cryptic remarks about Book II.
Beware: He also likes to torment forum participants and has threatened to enslave them as demons...but he's really nice about it.

Servers returned from Oorstemoth
www.astlan.net Site has been returned to normal for the last several hours, and should be good and stable. We don't think the Oorstemothian's had the technology, or technical skills to extract any data (let alone private data) from the server. So no one has to be worried about an Oorstemothian subpoena.

www.astlan.net is temporarily down due to an issue at its hosting provider. Apparently, Oorstemothian agents have raided the data center with search warrant looking for information about a party of demons and their henchmen who sunk one of their ships.
