Six Long Weeks
I would like to tell everyone one thing.I am not as young as I used to be.I am also not as old as that last statement sounds, but to be perfectly clear,I am not twenty years old anymore. That is the age where I could get into a motorcycle accident inNorthern Wisconsin, pick myself up,and ride for six hours home on a busted up bikeand a broken ankle.I had something going for me back then.It was rainingand cold.It keep the swelling in my foot to a minimum, but the throbbing pain was always there.
Why am I telling you this?Because I had sinus surgery on my head almost three weeks ago,and all I do is whineand complain about how I feel.I cannot write,I cannot drive,I can't do anything which I think is fun.I am nauseous all of the timeand have constant migraines.MyDoctorsays it will take six weeks to completely heal.SIX WEEKS?So,I am sorry that I haven't been writing lately, but I want to thank all of you,for coming backand reading some of my old materialand looking for something new that I may have written. My wife is so bored of me already, that maybe I could find a way for aHollywood Starletto helpNurseme back to health.

This Is A Little Tidbit

This is a little tidbit,
which has been bothering me for awhile now.I watch theTVshowStar Talkand also listen to theirPodcast. It starsNeil deGrasse Tysonand his comedic co-hostChuck Nice.On the television show they like to mix it up with different comedic co-hosts,but on thePodcast,Chuck is always their for the laughs. My question is,why do both of them constantly comment about how primitive man, beforeSciencecame along, always explained things away, that they did not understand,as an act ofGod?
Like they were fools? An example that Neil has used on more than one occasion is aboutEpilepsy.BeforeSciencediscovered that it was a neurological disorder, which causes epileptic seizures,Christiansused to believe that the person having the seizure was actually being possessed by theDevil.Hence, the common practice ofExorcismbeforeSciencediscovered the real truth. So,asSciencediscovers moreand more about ourPhysical Anatomy, theEarth, ourSolar System, and theCosmos, they claim that this will disprove the ignorance of early man religious beliefsand thatSciencewill be able to explain everything aboutOurselvesand theUniversearound us,in due time.I understand that they are bothAtheists, but that doesn't meanGodhad nothing to do with ourCreation. The more thatSciencediscovers,to me,shows thatGodwas involved.I am not saying that he is a hands-on type of deity, where he manipulates the comingand goings of theUniverse, ourSolar System, theEarthand it'sPopulace. That is forTheologiansto argue about. What I am saying is,from the chaos of theBig Bang,to the randomness ofLifeon this planet, from the smallestParticlesin existence,to the largestBlack Holesin the universe, the more we discover, the less we really know.God may not be theDeitythat religion would have us believe, but to discount his existence because you only believe inScience,is like still believing that anExorcismwill cureEpilepsy.Open mindedness is what believing inGodis all about, and what makes trueScientific Discovers.
This is,Well,I Am Glad I Got That Off My Chest,Jim Hauenstein,
And,
“Lest we forget, the birth of modern physics and cosmology was achieved by Galileo, Kepler and Newton. By breaking free from the close confining prison of faith. All three were believing Christians though. The scientific revolution of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries was not a revival of Hellenistic science, but of its defeat.”

The Man From Mars - Episode Forty One
The three Filipina women, the Filipino man, and myself, all look to Tiny for guidance.
I had just gotten out of the restroom of this so called safe house, when the Filipino guy came running into our room stating, "They're here."
With the three women now looking around and holding butcher knives, Tiny gives orders in Tagalog.
"Ladies, tapusin na sa paglilinis ng silid at sa iyo, kumuha ng sasakyan ko handa."
(Ladies, finish cleaning up the room, and you get my car ready.)
The newcomer, who had given Tiny the information, jackrabbits out of the room, once he hears his orders. The three ladies go back to finishing up their cleaning and bagging up the dead body.
Then, Tiny tightly grabs me by my upper arm, and starts dragging me out of the bedroom, down a flight of stairs, through the enfilade, and finally into the garage with a waiting, running, Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG inside.
The whole time I am yelling through the pain, "I can walk you know."
The Filipino man was inside the garage, holding the driver's door open, so Tiny could get in as quickly as possible.
He did this, after tossing me to the passenger side of the car, like a rag doll, saying with gritted teeth, "Hurry up and get in."
His demeanor showed me that the situation must be dire, so I did as he said.
Before I had my seat-belt on, and with the garage door swiftly going up, we were off. Almost clipping the top of the Mercedes with the bottom of the door as it went upwards.
Because Tiny, was not about to waste any precious time.
No sooner did the front of the car peak it's nose past the front of the garage, did a hail of bullets start pounding every inch of the vehicle.
The end of the driveway was blocked off by two huge black SUVs, and I could clearly see through bullet proof glass that, that was where the machine gun fire was coming from.
Before we got halfway down the drive, and with Tiny never taking his foot off the accelerator, he veers to our right, through a line of huge Mesquite trees. With the lower outlining branches already trimmed for a tunnel effect, I would guess, for just such an occasion. So no branches would be in our way.
I look to my left and see a line of five men, now on the other side of the two vehicles, rapid firing in our direction. I didn't see any bullets ricocheting off the windows, so my best guess is, they were trying to shoot out the tires.
But we just kept rolling speedily away. Bouncing up and down, as we rode over roots, which were sticking slightly up out of the ground.
Tiny veers to his right once more, aiming for an open area past these prearranged planted line of trees.
We were about to reach a crest of a small hill, where I couldn't see what is on the other side, so I yelled, "Tiny!" With all the trepidation and fear I could muster in my voice.
I should have known Tiny knew what he was doing, though. Maybe practicing this escape rout on more than one occasion.
After jumping the small hill, where as, we maybe only got off the ground an inch or two, we land on the far end of a small airport's runway. Again, with Tiny never taking his foot off the accelerator.
"Not another puking helicopter ride?" I ask anxiously.
He never had time to answer my question, because, by the time I was finished asking it, we are already sliding up, next to a Global 8000 Bombardier Aircraft. With the jet engines already running of course.
I knew what type of craft it was, because of the big letters telling me so, painted up and down the rudder.
We hop out of the car, run up the lowered staircase, with Tiny barking orders for me to strap myself in, while he goes forward to the cockpit.
Moving slowly forward, to angle the plane straight down the runway, the G forces then hit me hard, as we start to takeoff.
I do have enough strength in my neck and enough time to look out my passenger side window.
Before we get too far away from the Mercedes, I see the same Filipino man hopping inside the driver's seat, and driving off in the opposite direction.
To no one in particular, I say to myself, "He has to be a twin brother!"
To Be Continued.....
Hopefully Next Week.

By Jove
ByJove,I think theScience Communityhas finally got it.What am I talking about?I am talking aboutDark MatterandDark Energy.
I wrote the short storyA-L-I-Vback in the middle of2015,but didn'tPostthe story on thisBloguntilMay 29th, 2016.It quickly became my most read story that I have ever written, and continues to average over35 Viewsper day. What is interesting about my story is the fact that I use the analogy ofPiano Strings, which are side by side,to describe my version ofString Theory.WhereGravitational Forcesfrom oneMeta-Universeeffects its neighboringUniverses. With eachUniverseaffecting theMulti-Verse on either side of it.TheNew Theory, recently proposed,is describingDark MatterandDark Energyas possiblyGravatonsoverlapping ourUniversefrom otherMulti-Verseson either side of us.As inString Theory. I really need to update that part of my story so it sounds little more accurate with the newTheoryof today. But if you have read it,you will see how my story proposed the theoryThree Years Ago.Talking about getting lucky!
This is,Feeling Lucky!Maybe I Should Go To A Casino?Naaahhhhh.Jim Hauenstein,
And,
“String theory makes sense to me because the universe is a symphony that creates harmony with the vibration of our strings.”

Stepping Further
This is my complimentary
Post
to yesterday's

Dated

called
One Step Further.
*****
In my previous
Post,I mentioned how people who can afford to pay for items should.Yes,
I do live by this policy.Let me clarify something first.I no longer have the urge to own everything I see!Example;
So far this year,
I have only bought one
Hard Cover Book. And that was a present to some really good friends of mine.Today,
I go to the
Library
to check out
the books I'm interested in
or download a
Magazine,
Comic Book,
Audio Book,
or other reading material on my
"Nook."I have bought only one
CD
this year.
Because I can select the kind of music I want to listen to on programs like
"Pandora"
or
"I Heart Radio."(There are dozens of free programs out there.)But,
for
Movies,
I believe the
"Theater Experience"
brings a certain kind of entertainment all its own.I saw
"The Avengers; Age of Altron,"
in 3D.I enjoy the sight
and sounds of a movie in the theater. I still rent
DVDs
from
"Red Box."Because of the experience of sitting with my whole family
and watching a movie together.I pay for
Netflix,
Hulu Plus,
and
Amazon Instant Video
so my family can watch movies
and
TV Shows
when they want to.Not only the newest shows,
but shows from years gone by that we can experience again together.I record sporting events on my
HD DVR Recorder,
so I can pause,
rewind,
fast forward,
and finish watching a two to three hour event in three to four sittings.Of course,
I could use a
"Torrent"
and get everything for free,
but then I would be missing out on all these
Sensory Experiences,
with my family,
on all these different types of formats.
Which the new technologies bring to my
Reading Materials.
Listening to
Music.
Watching
TV Shows.
And the
Movie Experience.If I couldn't afford it,
I wouldn't be doing it.What is money for?
It's to help make your
Life Easier,
Happier,
and
Healthier.Other than that,
I see no use for it.So as long as I can afford to do these things which make my life more enjoyable,
I'll keep on doing them.
This is,
My Actions Speak Louder Than My Words,
Jim Hauenstein,
And,

I Still Believe
I still believe in my

One Small Step For Man, And A Giant Leap For Mankind
*****
In the past,
I have stated my dislike for
"Copyright Laws."I believe it infringes on the needs of the
Lower Income Populace
of this
World.
They don't have the same freedoms,
or choices,
to better themselves as the
Rich
have.So I am here to tell you that there are a lot of good websites out in this
World
where anyone can use
Free Open Source Programs,
get
Free Schematics On Hardware,
and even get help,
Monetarily,
to
Start A Business,
Produce Music,
Publish A Book,
or do just about anything that is a legitimate idea for people to rally around.
That is not a scam.Spike Lee
has used the website
"Kickstarter"
to fund his projects,
and the 2014 movie,
Veronica Mars,
was completely funded by crowd sourcing this way.A really beautiful story is about,
what happened to the Washington area
Girl Scouts
when they received a $100,000.00 donation earlier this year. After the jubilation died down
and they read the fine print from the donor,
the
Girl Scouts
gave the money back. The donor stipulated that if they couldn't guarantee that the money would not be used to support transgender girls,
they had to give it back.Which they did.Instead of wallowing in self pity,
the
Washington Girl Scouts
told their story on the
Crowd-Source Funding Platform,
"Indiegogo."
To try
and raise back that $100,000.00 dollars.I haven't followed the story the past couple of weeks,
but checking the
Indiegogo
website today,
the
Girl Scouts
have raised over
$332,237.00 Dollars.See how good people can be,
especially when fighting against
Stupid Prejudice People.I started out talking about
Copyright Laws
and was side tracked by what good people can do,
and have done,
for each other on the internet. If you are interested in helping others
or have a project needing funding,
on any search engine,
type in:
Websites Like Indiegogo,
or
Kickstarter.
You will find that there are over fifty such websites where people will donate money for a good cause. The reason I brought up the
Copyright Law
in the first place is because of the good news about the founders of
"Pirate Bay."One of the largest
Torrent
sites of all time.Copyright Lawyers
have gone after the
Founders
of this site for years,
but as of today,
they have been cleared of all
Criminal Infringement
and abuse of
Electronic Communications Charges
in a
Belgian Court.TorrentFreak
reported this story,
and is one of my favorite websites for all my
Torrent News.I recommend them. This is great news for
Torrent Users
and bad news for
Corporate Greed.
People have asked me,
"Jim, you want to publish your book, how do you expect to make any money if our current Copyright Laws don't protect you?"My answer is,
"Morally, if a person can afford to pay for my book, he should. The rich don't need to get my book for free, they can afford it. And it certainly won't hurt their pocket book either. But, I believe, the poor should have the same right to enjoy whatever I've written."That is one of the reasons I sell my book
No Return Address
for only 99 cents.
So everyone has the chance to read it,
if they want to.
In the future,
God
willing,
if my books are good enough to end up in the
Public Libraries,
I will be very pleased.
Because,
everyone will have a chance to read them for free. That is my goal.
This is,
If My Book Does Make Any Money,
All The Proceeds Will Go To Publishing My Next Book,
Jim Hauenstein,
And,
“My problem isn’t piracy, it’s obscurity.”

and is one of my favorite websites for all my
Torrent News.I recommend them.

Parallel World Series Collectable Cards
I have been saving collectable cards since I can remember.
I was at a Catholic Grade School in my youth and during recess, I would be flipping cards, calling out heads or tails to win more of those collectables from my fellow grade schoolers.
You see, two people would flip at the same time. With the winner of the previous contest, or the owner of the most cards, which usually meant me, yelling out if the cards needed to flip up heads together, tails together, or land opposite of each other.
Of course the side, of one of these cards, with a face on it, was heads. And all of the stats and accomplishments of the player on that card would be considered tails.
So, instead of waiting for my monthly allowance of five-dollars, where I could go to the local Candy Store and purchase a pack of five cards with a large stick of gum inside for only fifty cents, I became a catholic school boy hustler.
I wanted them all. These collectable cards represented to me, the finest human beings this world had to offer. All Heroes in the Major Leagues. The best of the best.
That school yard hustle couldn't last forever though. I got older.
I started using the duplicates I collected of the years to swap out for cards I didn't own. Because, even though I had over a thousand cards by the time I was fifteen years old, the games of the Major Leagues never stopped being played.
There was always more games to be won, by new players all the time.
The cards I collected as a kid were worth a lot today, especially to a rich collector. Because, just like in all walks of life, some players died young, some were released because of a scandal, and the lucky ones got old enough to retire. So, once you are out of the Major Leagues, they no longer print up any more cards with your face on it.
And everyone likes to collect players from the past over today's players, who still need to prove their greatness to us.
Oh, sure. Once in awhile, one of the big printing companies will come out with an anniversary pack, of some of the major players, of a historical event. But, having an original card, of any of those players being repackaged, in today's market, could be worth millions of dollars if you were lucky enough to have the right one.
As it turns out, that by my mid twenties, I had a few lucky ones. Duplicates. Nothing in the million dollar range. Just appraised high enough, that I was able to have extra cash and go to a few Collector Conventions. Haggling my way into swapping or buying, at a discount, a few cards not in my personal collection.
When I became a businessman, making my fortune in real estate by the time I was fifty years old, buying the most hard to find cards became my obsession.
But that leads me to today. Why we are all gathered here.
I am announcing, that I will be donating my entire collection to the Smithsonian Institution. All one hundred thousands cards in my collection.
Even the last remaining card of Sargent Alvin York from World War One. One of the three remaining cards of First Lieutenant Audie Murphy from World War Two. Cards of General John Joseph Pershing, General Douglas MacArthur, General William Westmoreland, General H Norman Schwarzkopf, and so on.
Cards of every President running our Major League Clubs to victory and the only President to lose a War to a Minor League Club. President Nixon and Vietnam.
I hope generations of children will come to the Smithsonian, to be witness, to some of the greatest players to play in our five major league clubs. The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and the Coast Guard!

Four Hair Raising Stories While I Am On Vacation
You might be wondering where I have been for the last few days.Well,I knew my daughter was coming fromSan Antonio, TexastoTemecula, CaliforniaonSaturday, bringing my grandson with her.I figured it would take her about two days to get here. What I didn't know was, that she was going to drive straight through, nonstop! It took herNineteen Hoursof driving. With stops along the way, only to get gas, eat, bathroom breaks, and take power naps. So,unfortunately for my readers, but fortunately for me,I will be on vacation the rest of this week to be with my family.I do have four stories to tell you before I go.Four stories that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.Four hair raising stories of being aLift Driver!Da da da!
The first is,I never want to be put in this kind of situation ever again!I get a call one day, for a ride, from Temecula to Menifee. Which is about a 25 minute ride in heavy traffic. The ride had two stops. One at Carl's Jr. in Menifee, and then a return ride home to Temecula. I figured that was a long way for a burger, since there are about four of the burger joints on the way. But it was his money, so, what the hey. We get to the parking lot and the guy says, "Just wait hear." A couple of minutes later, a black Cadillac pulls up and the guy says, "I'll be right back." He gets out of my car, then jumps into the front of the Cadillac and starts talking to the driver. He takes about five minutes and then he is back in my car. Even I know this is a DRUG DEAL and I never want to be put into that situation again!
Did I just help someone'sTV Show?I get this call, to stop at a house in Temecula. When I get there, this guy comes running out with a Teleprompter and says, "My brother needs this right away." I asked, "Who is the passenger?" And he says, "Just the teleprompter." So, I'm all by myself, driving a teleprompter from Temecula, California to Carlsbad, California which is a hour drive in light traffic. When I get to this secluded gated community, I call the guy I am supposed to drop off the teleprompter to. He lets me in, and when I arrive, he is outside his house waiting for me. I tell him, "He wasn't much of a conversationalist." The guy starts laughing and says, "I bet he is a good tipper though." You can guess the rest.
Another story of theInanimate.I get a call one Sunday, to go out to Wine Country for a ride. I get to this guy's house, where upon, he calls me up on his cellphone and asks me to come up to his front door. It is an unusual request, except for people who have some kind of handicap. I am always willing to help, so I go to his front door. When I get there, he opens it up, and I can see people lying on chairs, couches, and the floor. He says, "Can you drive to the nearest store, that sells plungers, and pick one up for me? Here is twenty dollars. Buy anykind you want and keep the change." I asked, "What about the ride? Is somebody coming with me?" He says, "No. Just come back with the plunger and you can have the fare and the change from the twenty dollars." So I go to a store, buy the cheapest $4 dollar plunger I can find, and with the fare, made $35 bucks for my troubles.
Well,I thought it was funny. One morning I get a call from someone who lives on the Pechanga Indian Reservation. Out here, in California, Pechanga is one of the richest Indian Reservation around because of how well its Casino is doing. Nowadays, you just can't drive onto the reservation grounds without stopping at a Guard Shack to get a pass. I arrive at the guard shack and the officer on duty asks for my driver's license. Without looking, I pull out, what I think is my license and hand it over to him. He looks at me and asks, "What's this?" I had just handed over my Credit Card to him. So I say, while smiling, "I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to bribe you or anything." He didn't think it was very funny but still gave me the pass to get on the Reservation. No sense of humor I guess?

Listening Courageously
I was listening toRudyard Kipling'sCaptains Courageousin my car today, while I was waiting for my son to get out of school.I have this new app calledOverdrive which is associated with theCounty of Riverside Library System. It's a great app for taking outeBooksandMP3 Recordingsfrom your favoriteLibrary. And,just like taking out a regular book from yourLibrary, you can get theseeBooksandMP3sfor a two week period. My only problem is,most of theeBooksandMP3sare geared forYoung Adults.Stuff like theTwilightandThe Hunger Gamesseries of books. So I went to my localLibraryto ask,"What I can do?"The lady behind the help desk told me to get aLibrary Cardfrom all the surroundingCountiesand your selection will quadruple! So that is my goal.Of course, there are many apps out there that offer audio-books,but all the free books are dated. If you want anything new,you have to pay for them. And if you know me,I only likeFree Stuff.Case in point.I am listening toCaptains Courageous.
