City States
Here, on this date, which is believed to be by the old calendar, October 11th, 2049, I, Rebecca May, Historian for the City State of Duluth, hereby declare this record to be the truth of the events I am obligated to scribe.
Our esteem leader, Francine Elder, wishes that all important events henceforth be written down so future generations will know and understand the history of their great City.
First, why we have City States today.
On April 12th, 2036, the day before, of the second coming of the Apophis Meteor, some say by word of mouth, that a religious fanatic group sent into the atmosphere a series of EM Field weapons to destroy all man made satellites and electronics on the Earth. To assure their predictions of the end of the World.
Others, by word of mouth, have said that the Sun itself was the cause of the week long solar flare activity which produced such enormous EM Fields, that it knock out all electronics in Earth's atmosphere and on the ground.
Either way, civilization started anew once the apocalypse of the old civilization was complete.
Bands of roving looters swept through the lands afterwards.
Precious commodities are now food, water, weapons, and intelligence.
People who knew techniques such as masonry, farming, construction, and the sciences became important figures in our knew City State.
The looters fought among themselves in the countryside. Some say there are bands of female barbarians killing any man they find. For they blame the man for the suffering we all feel in the World today.
Other City States turned to Religious Leaders to save their way of life and quickly crumbled into chaos. In these cases, anyone, such as educators, mechanics, or anyone with technical skills was automatically blamed for the plight of their City and executed. Which further hindered their capacity to sustain themselves.
Quickly, the largest Cities broke down into chaotic behavior and some even say, by word of mouth, that cannibalism permeated throughout.
The City State of Duluth has survived these calamities and has prospered because of our understanding for the need of basic technologies.
It has long been understood, that more female babies are born each year than males. The ratio has become three to one according to our most learned midwives. So the male is no longer the farmer, hunter, or gatherer from the tales of old. Males are now domesticated. Livestock to keep the growth of the City State growing.
We do not imprison our males but share them among all who has need of them.
In a way, you can say they have become a commodity.
We have fought off would be conquerors and barbarians.
We have welcomed good, honest women, their mates, and their children if they swear allegiance to the City State of Duluth and abide by all its laws.
We have grown. By word of mouth, we hear most Cities have not.
Our leader, Francine Elder, has boldly proclaim that emissaries will one day be sent out to other Cities which have survived, and their could be an exchange of philosophy, trade, and information.
Her plan is to teach others why our system has been so effective. Why we should move on from blame. And why the future can once again be something we can all look forward to.

on my cell phone,
to my
Sister-in-Law
on
May 1st,
while on my morning walk.So please excuse sentence structure,
spelling,
and all around grammar.
Hi,
I'm on my walk right now so excuse any mis-spellings.
I was walking past a kid's corner lemonade stand and it reminded me of a time when Jamie set up a lemonade stand on her own. She did the whole thing on her own. Making the stand herself and mixing up the lemonade. She was around 9 years old at the time I believe.
When I came home from work, I saw the sign she had made and it read "Lemonade, One Glass $10.
I asked Jamie, "How do you think you'll be able to sell lemonade at that price?"
She told me, "I only need to sell one. That's it."
So I bought a glass for $10 and she ran off to her friends, smiling the biggest smile.
After she had left, I noticed that I had just paid $10 for lemonade I already owned and that she had left everything in the front yard for me to clean up!
Now that's Business Savvy!
At least I know one of my kids understands what the value of money is
and how to manipulate her
Dad!She can still do it to this day!

Gloomy Sunday
“Gloomy Sunday”was written in1933by twoHungarians.Rezso Seress
wrote the musicand
Laszlo Javor
penned the lyrics.The song drew little attention until 1936,when it began to be connected with a rash of suicides inHungaryand was allegedly banned afterwards.Up toSeventeen Suicideswere reportedly linked in some way to the song.This included people who reportedly killed themselves after listening to the song.Either from a recordingor performed live by a band.Some were said to have been found dead with references to the song's lyrics in their suicide notes.With others holding the sheet music in their hands when they died.It was also banned inGreat Britainfor sixty-six years. American MusiciansandSingerssoon jumped at the chance to record translated versions of the“Hungarian Suicide Song.”By the end of1936several recordings were made available to theAmerican Public.TheBillie Holidayversion,recorded several years later,is the most popularEnglish Languageversion of the song.

Director Major Centauri
Director Major Centaurispeaking at a symposium,on the subject of animals being used for therapeutic treatment inMedical Facilities. "Our Scientists are now digging up evidence that animals can help improve mental health, even for beings with challenging disorders. Though the studies we have conducted are small, the benefits are impressive enough that clinical settings are opening their doors to animal-assisted interventions. We are calling it, pet therapy. In other words, we use pet therapy alongside conventional medicine to heal our patients. It used to be one of the great no-no’s to think of an animal in our Medical Facilities.” Says Major Centauri, the director of the Center for the Being & Animal Bonding.
"Now, I don’t know of any Medical Facility that does not have at least one kind of animal program in use at this very moment. Our studies show, there is no need to be afraid of these animals causing infection to our patients.” The director says confidently.
"The rise of animal therapy is backed by increasingly serious science showing that social support–a proven antidote to anxiety and loneliness–can come from Canine and Feline participants. These different types of animals can help calm stress, fear and anxiety in young children, the elderly and everyone in between."
Centauri claims.
"More research is needed before scientists know exactly why it works and how much animal interaction is needed for the best results. But published studies show that animals have a place in medicine and in mental well-being. The data is strong,” Centauri proclaims. “If you look at what animals do for us and how we interact with them, it’s not surprising at all!”
"Any questions?"
"Yes," says Minor Player from the Weekly Planet. A communication service. "You called them Canine and Feline. Where did you get those names for these creatures?"
"From their home planet." Replies Centauri. "Our explores believe this is what the Male and the Female of the species were called on their home planet."
"Does the species have a general name or descriptive name besides?" Ask Minor Player. "And a name for this planet they came from?"
"Yes, as a whole, we believe they called themselves, Homo Sapiens. And the planet they lived on was called Earth."

It has been shown that both rats and monkeys learn from making errors, yet we have not. Our history proves this. All creatures on earth have the capacity to love and grieve the same way we do. No life on the planet is more deserving than another. Those who think so, are the true savages.”

Halloween Is Coming!
Halloween is coming up quickly.Do you have your scary decorations up yet?I have some of mine up.Well,I still have a few decorations up from last year.I have aSnow Globe Pumpkinwhich lights up at night sitting on top of my television.
I have two femaleSkull & Cross Boneswith pink bows on their cranium,hanging on the front door to my house.
And of course,how could I ever take it down?The Bio Hazard Zombie Police Tape,strapped around my front door,just under the girls with the bows. 
I have my fakeTombstonesready to go.
Now all I need is the fakeSpider Websto hang from the garage side of my building,and I will be all set.
Stop!Do not do it!
I am warning you! Wait until the last minute before you buy yourHalloween Candy!Because you know that you will eat it all up ahead of time!

Never Having A Thing To Say
This has happened to me many,many times before.I get in front of a computer,log into myBlog,and I have nothing to say.Me.With nothing to say.The person who stills walks every nightand says hello to every complete stranger he meets.An observation first.It is funny how a lot of people I say hi to,do not respond at allor respond by making a face like,"Wow. Did you just start talking to me?"All it is,isCommon Courtesy.That is all.I am not trying trick you,rob you,or even molest you.I am just trying to be neighborly.And if you do not want to acknowledge someone who says hi to you,who is on the same sidewalk as you?Don't go acting like they are the jerk for talking to you.Just keep on going.TheWorldnow knows that you are the fool.You don't have to make that face to prove it.I find that people living outside the big metropolitan areas are much friendlier,but are just as wary of you until they get to know you.But at least they have"Common Courtesy."

The Third Best Post Of The Month Is;The First Year A wonderful story about one of my Granddaughters living in Louisiana and being part of the first group of girls joining the Boy Scouts in that state. I am all for it.

Long Boards Or Short This Post is actually the retelling of my Post called Hey Dude, Are You A Long Boarder Or Short Boarder When Riding Those Gravitational Waves? Which is about an Albert Einstein theory which happened to be proven back in 2015.

Customer Complaint This Post is about a story I found on the Internet which shows a tablet from around 1750 BC which has Babylonian Cuneiform written on it. It is of a customer complaining about the quality of goods he received. Even back then, customer service was important.

The Optimistic Street Preacher
We have all heard about theseStreet Preachers,holding up a signs,telling us to"Repent, The End Is Near!"
You might have seen these guys,if you live in a big city,hanging out at street corners,outside grocery stores,or in city parks.The one thing you never see,is them hanging outside of aChurchpreaching their doom.Talking aboutDoom.How manyClergyhave gone off their rocker over the yearsand predicted the end of the world? Right,too numerous to count.Well,the end of the world has been predicted ever since ancient times.I don't have a legit website where I can show you proof,but one of myTeacherswhen I was young,
told her class,
that their wereHieroglyphicspredicting the end of the world. And if you can't believe aTeacher,who can you believe?The internet? Today I saw a really optimisticStreet Preacherand I have to really commend his style.While most of his colleagues like to predict theDoom & Gloom, this guy's message was pretty upbeat.His prediction?"Praise the Lord!"On November 9th 2018no one will die!The Lord has ordain no one dieon this day!So,I had to ask him.No one will die in a car accident?"No!"Soldiers fighting in a war?"No!"A person with terminal cancer?"Not until the next day!"Murder?"Not one killing will happen!"
If that truly happens onNovember 9thI will be the first one down on my kneesPraising The Lord!

Recently,I was notified that I use fillers,
as some of stories,
