Never Having A Thing To Say

This has happened to me many,many times before.I get in front of a computer,log into myBlog,and I have nothing to say.Me.With nothing to say.The person who stills walks every nightand says hello to every complete stranger he meets.An observation first.It is funny how a lot of people I say hi to,do not respond at allor respond by making a face like,"Wow. Did you just start talking to me?"All it is,isCommon Courtesy.That is all.I am not trying trick you,rob you,or even molest you.I am just trying to be neighborly.And if you do not want to acknowledge someone who says hi to you,who is on the same sidewalk as you?Don't go acting like they are the jerk for talking to you.Just keep on going.TheWorldnow knows that you are the fool.You don't have to make that face to prove it.I find that people living outside the big metropolitan areas are much friendlier,but are just as wary of you until they get to know you.But at least they have"Common Courtesy." Did I just get carried away?It is,one of my pet peeves.Now where was I?Oh yeah.I was writing about how sometimes I have nothing to say.I know my kids won't believe it.They say,nine out of ten times,when we are out together, that I am embarrassing them by talking too much.And the things I am talking about.I am just the friendly sort.Besides.I grew up in a different era.I grew up when you had to actually talk to peopleFace To Face.We didn't have computersor cellphones.We hadSnail Mail,Land Lines,and the dreaded of all,Conversations.Ooh,scary.Well,that is me all over.I never have anything to say.This is,Sorry,I Had Nothing To Say,Jim Hauenstein,
