Give Well

I have talked about giving to your favoriteCharitymany times on thisBlog.Like Giving To My Favorite Charity This Season,Expanding Our Little Charity To Other Holidays,Happy Thanksgiving To A Giving Aaron Rodgers, and so on.There are many more articlesbut these are the first ones that came to mind.If you didn't know this before,"All Charities Are Not Created Equal!" I would name a few which actually have high cost of running their organization, that at least a quarter of the money collected goes to pay for executive bonusesand expenditures. You might not think that is muchbut when the highest grossing charity has over$3.919 Billionin revenue, bonuses for executives are in the millions!I wonder if they are giving back?I don't want to name any because if you are giving to theseCharitiesand you don't care what happens to your money,at least you are still giving. Otherwise,I have a solution for you.GiveWell.org"GiveWell is an American non-profit charity assessment and effective altruism-focused organization. GiveWell focuses primarily on the cost-effectiveness of the organizations that it evaluates, rather than traditional metrics such as the percentage of the organization's budget that is spent on overhead."- Wikipedia -I figured getting a little help fromWikipediamight convince you on the authenticity ofGiveWell.Don't take my word for it.Check out their website for yourself. Then maybe the next time you give, your hard earned dollars will go that much further.See the source image  This is,Giving As MuchAnd As Well As I CanJim Hauenstein,

Happy Valentine's Day

Well it'sValentine's Day."Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. It originated as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus. Valentine's Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country." - Wikipedia -

Nothing Exists Until It Is Measured

“From Imagination comes Reality my friend.”
- James Hauenstein -These
Fantasies
are from myPosttitled Quantum Physics: "Nothing exists until it is measured." DatedDecember 3rd, 2015.*****
I wanted to tell a tale today, about one of my many adventures across the globe of our planet Earth. How I sailed the  Seven Seas in my
Gemini Legacy Catamaran. At a time when modern
Pirates
out gun the
Maritime Sailor. How I fought off  Pygmy Headhunters on the
Isles Of The Comoros. Found, a never discovered  Fourteenth Mayan Crystal Skull, in the mountain hills north of the
City Of LambogliaPuerto Rico. Danced with  Princess StephanieCountess Of Polignac, while we waited for
Y2K
to begin. Backed up theMagic ManDon Majkowski
in 1989, for the
Green Bay Packers. Played on the same stage as
Jimmy Hendricks & Cheap Trick played on at a club called The Stone Toadin
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I can't possibly relay what an exciting adventure I'm on today because that would ruin all future tales I've yet to write. But I can tell you one thing. Characters in tales do come to life, and are as real as your imagination lets them become. And as long as my daughter's  Imaginary Friend John treats her well, I too believe that he is alive and kicking. Just like she does!

Movie Review

Yesterday I did a review of a book I just read.Today I would like to do a review of a movie my familyand I enjoyed the other night onFamily Movie Night.MyGrandsonpicked the movieand actually, this was the second time we saw the movie.Yes,it is that good. The movie is called;Train To Busan. It is onNetflix. It was made inKoreaand beforeAmerican Movie Studiosmake their version of the flick,I suggest you see the original first. The little girl starring as the daughter is fantastic in this film.I don't like a lot of killing in my movies nowadaysbut this flick did a good job of not over doingand keeping with the plot. This is,Getting Ready For The Zombie ApocalypseJim Hauenstein,

A Book Review

If you have ever gone to myTwitterfeed;@JimTwoBuck,you will see that I do book reviews on the websiteGoodreads.I am thinking of putting my reviews directly here on myBlogthe same day I do them onGoodreads. The latest book I did a review on is called; All Systems Red.Subtitle; The Murderbot Diaries #1,byMartha Wells.MyGoodreadsreview reads like this."It has an original idea for the story and the plot was pretty good for the first installment of the series. I finally found a Sci-Fi book I enjoy."I know.It is shortand to the point.Recently,I have been going through a series ofScience Fictionbooks that haven't captured my imagination. No,I am not going to name the authors.I am not a believer in the"Dark Future"a lot ofSci-Fiwriters of today predict for humanity.I am a believer in theGene Roddenberry outlook.Where humanity is not all bleak but has an optimistic future."All Systems Red"doesn't proclaim a future where it is the havesand the haves not,but a future where manand machine work side by side.Man is not being replaced by technology. So,by bypassing the bleakness of a devastating future,Martha Wellscan get right into her story.Coming up with a protagonistand an adversary without taking a lot of time explaining how her future world came about.See the source image  This is,Jim Hauenstein,Reading The Second Installment Of The Series Called"Artificial Condition,"
And,

“I have never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or gorillas. When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room.”

Raining In Southern California

It was raining inSouthern Californiatoday. Not much, but for us it's great. It has rained more this year then recent years so I am doing a tribute to what most of theNationtakes for granted. TheStateofCaliforniareceives about 23 inches per year. The four day storm we had last week dumped about 1.5 inches.
We are called theLand Of Perpetual Drought.Well,at least I don't have to worry about the rain turning into snow.Image result for blizzard in wisconsinThis is,Thankful For Every Drop,Jim Hauenstein,

Throwing My Voice Over Here

I always liked this
Post.
I even sent a copy of it to the
Celebrity
I mention on the bottom.
From
November 27th, 2015
a
Post
called
εγγαστριμυθία

 *****
Ever since men and women began using their vocal cords for naming people, places, and things, instead of only grunting at one another, there has been a growing religious Cult that exists to this very day. The religious prophets of this Cult are said to be able to speak to the dead, as well as foretell the future. One of the earliest recorded Prophets to utilize a technique called,
Gastromancing,
was the Pythia.
See the source image A
Priestess
at the temple of Apollo in Delphi. She acted as the conduit for the Delphic Oracle. During this time in History, they became known in Greece as the Gastromancers. One of the most successful early Gastromancers was Eurykles or Eurycles of Athens. (Depending on which website you are doing your research from, the spelling of his name differs.)
Eurykles became so popular during his lifetime, that his followers were called, Euryklides, Eurycleides, or Engastrimanteis. The “Belly Prophets!" In the middle ages the practice of Gastromancy was thought to be Witchcraft, hence the reason the Cult went underground. To protect their Believers from persecution. But now, a few have chosen to rise above the Catacombs of the religious underworld. To brandish their Secret Cult Ways by means of the Entertainment World! You might recognize their leader. he uses the Latin terms for his craft. Venter, meaning belly, and Loqui, meaning to speak. The "Belly Prophets" have arisen once again and go by the name, "Ventriloquists!"
(εγγαστριμυθία)  And Jeff Dunham is there Spiritual Leader!
See the source image This is, Throwing My Voice Over Here, Jim Hauenstein,
And,
“I am the Love Ventriloquist. And if you say I’m not, I’ll say it so it sounds like you said I am.” - Jarod Kintz -

IC3.gov

I would like to let everyone know about a littleGovernmentwebsite run by theFBIcalledIC3.gov.IC3is an abbreviation forInternet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).Get it?The letterIand thenThree Csin a row.The reason I am telling you this because back around 2005 I had my identity stolenand my credit was ruined.Even though the police caught the perpetratorand sent him away for only five years,I was told by the threeCredit Reporting Agenciesthat I would have to write letters on each one of my outstanding debts explaining my situationor wait about five to ten years for my credit rating to go up.I did the second option since I was making good money back thenand I could pay cash for everything I needed. In my situation,I wasn't ripped off by someone on the internet, but by someone who worked for a loan company. But knowing about the websiteIC3.govjust might help you out in the future. Why do I care?Because I believe in the old adage;Pay It Forward. If I help someone out, then that person might help someone outand we will have a better world for it.See the source imagehttps://pdf.ic3.gov/2017_IC3Report.pdf

And,
“If repairing one's credit is as easy as sending some dispute letters to the credit bureaus then why doesn't everyone have good credit?”

In the 1990s I had three kids in diapers after they were born almost to the day, three years apart. The oldest one of the three was about four years old when I came home from work one dayand she said;"Daddy I fell down and hurt my bottom. Will you kiss it and make it feel better?"
I started complaining about this pain I was having to my doctor, she said, "We've run every test we can think of and the results show you're out of money." Okay,we have all been there. We have all in our lifetime have wanted to"Stick It To The Man!"Get away with some kind of act of defiance. So I ripped off the tag"Do Not Remove Under Penalty Of LawSee the source image   See the source image
