If you have ever gone to myTwitterfeed;@JimTwoBuck,you will see that I do book reviews on the websiteGoodreads.I am thinking of putting my reviews directly here on myBlogthe same day I do them onGoodreads.The latest book I did a review on is called;All Systems Red.Subtitle;The Murderbot Diaries #1,byMartha Wells.MyGoodreadsreview reads like this."It has an original idea for the story and the plot was pretty good for the first installment of the series. I finally found a Sci-Fi book I enjoy."I know.It is shortand to the point.Recently,I have been going through a series ofScience Fictionbooks that haven't captured my imagination.No,I am not going to name the authors.I am not a believer in the"Dark Future"a lot ofSci-Fiwriters of today predict for humanity.I am a believer in theGene Roddenberry outlook.Where humanity is not all bleak but has an optimistic future."All Systems Red"doesn't proclaim a future where it is the havesand the haves not,but a future where manand machine work side by side.Man is not being replaced by technology.So,by bypassing the bleakness of a devastating future,Martha Wellscan get right into her story.Coming up with a protagonistand an adversary without taking a lot of time explaining how her future world came about.  This is,Jim Hauenstein,Reading The Second Installment Of The Series Called"Artificial Condition,"
