First; The Devil Made Me Do It. Then; Society Made Me Do It. Now It Is; My Genes Made Me Do It.
"Are some people BORN killers? Biggest ever brain imaging study of mass murderers reveals they are wired differently"
By "According to the largest forensic neuroscience library in the world, there are surprising similarities between the abnormal brains structures of mass murderers. What's more, the differences are 'at least 50 percent caused by genetics', raising the disturbing possibility that people can be born killers. The discovery follows research that claims there are certain genetic triggers than can create a murderer. One of them is a variant of cadherin 13 (CDH13), which is involved in neural connectivity, and has been linked to impulse control in extremely violent offenders. Previous studies have linked other genes to violent crime, including a gene called monoamine oxidase A (MAOA) that contributes to less recycling of the neurotransmitter, dopamine."

His estranged wife and her friend, Leslie Bradshaw, had just pulled up to drop off the Waldroups’ four children. Waldroup began arguing with his wife and Bradshaw, who was unloading the car. Drawing his gun, Waldroup shot Bradshaw eight times, killing her. He used a knife to cut her head open.To save his life, his legal team took an unusual approach, never before admitted in a capital-murder case. They sent a sample of Waldroup’s blood to the molecular genetics lab at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Lab techs there were told to look at a specific gene. Just by the way someone speaks, we can pick up on social cues and emotional intelligence that give us certain impressions about them. Communications researchers have taken this hunch to another level. They interviewed convicted murderers whose self-reported tests reveal them to be psychopaths and analyzed the specific language usage of their speech patterns. The research was led by Jeffrey Hancock, a communications professor at Cornell University, whose work focuses on two types of language phenomenon in particular: verbal irony and deception. Hancock and his team observed multiple specific abnormal speech patterns in the psychopaths they interviewed. Defined by psychologists, a psychopath is someone who does not forge the emotional bonds that normal people do and do not empathize with others. They tend to see people as means to their own ends, rather than as individuals. These emotional abnormalities manifest in their speech patterns in a few interesting ways. When it came out I sent Mr. Hancock an email with all the words, including uh and umm, as bullet points on why I thought his work was hogwash. He never did respond to me. It Was Lewis Hamilton's Fault For Racing Incident

It was declared a"Racing Incident"by theStewards.
"The stewards of the Spanish Grand Prix opted not to apportion blame for the first lap collision between Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, calling it a racing incident.
The pair collided at Turn 4 after Hamilton got a run on his teammate coming out of Turn 3 and attempted to pass on the inside. Rosberg moved across on Hamilton, resulting in Hamilton taking to the grass and losing control of his car. The spinning No.44 Mercedes then took out the sister No.6 car, leaving both drivers in the gravel and out of the race. It later emerged that Rosberg's car had been harvesting power for its energy recovery system on the exit of Turn 3, allowing Hamilton to close up. When Rosberg realized Hamilton coming up behind he changed his engine setting and made the defensive move. Hamilton by that stage was fully committed and was unable to back out, resulting in the collision."

Needed A Vacation, Am On Vacation, Will Vacation Until Saturday
Feeling like Hemmingway,
as I became "The Old Man And The Sea" today.
Fishing off a boat in a wide open range of water,
where it is a fight between a Man and a Fish.
A territory I try to understand.
Where, if a Man falls in,
freezes with the icy currents,
pulling out all his body heat and pulling him under.
Hours was my fight,
as the Fish fought for the supremacy of his domain I invaded.
But I persevered,
bringing in the 1 & 1/2 pounds of Lake Trout to feed myself.
OK, the Old Man in Hemmingway's Novel maybe fought with a larger tuna than my trout,
but for me, it was my first fish in twenty years!

The Adventure Of A Lifetime That Almost Ended A Life Or Two
On Mother's Day,which is always on a Sunday,became alife and deathsituation for two of my daughtersand one of my grandchildren.Sunday is the day my second oldest daughter,her son,and I go to a differentSouthern California Trailto go hiking.This time my youngest daughter decided she would accompany us.Looking on theAll Trails website,we decided to try theTenaja Falls Trail.
It has everything you want.The website says it'sKid Friendly,has aRiver,Views,Waterfall,andWildlife.
The website states;"Tenaja Falls Trail is a 4.5 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Lake Elsinore, CA that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round." It also states that the elevation isup and down416 feet.
It is very pretty,very rugged,very up and down,only saw one rattlesnake,no mountain lions,but we didn't understand the"Out and Back"portion of the description!It is 4.5 miles in,4.5 miles out,on the same mountainous trail.You would be surprised how far 416 feet is when you have to climb itup and downseven or ten times!

Kingfisher - A Flash Fiction Story
I was on my usual evening constitution, of walking three miles per day in the birch forest behind my estate, when I happened to come across the strangest sight.Now I am not one who easily falls prey to the fantastical, whimsical, or exaggerated oracles of the retched common folk.
I'm Reginald Lionel Kingfisher the third. Heir to the Kingfisher Gin Corporation. The Duke of Canterbury. Earl of Bunford. Marquess of Kintyre. And fourteenth in line, to his Majesty Johnathan Oswald, to be the next King of England.
So you can see my lineage has prepared me well for the occasional crisis.
Yet, I was startled as a young girl playing Gin Rummy with a group of my mates at the Player's Club. Of course women are not allowed at the Club, but my point being is, how this impish scene playing out before me, was utterly absurd.
It was two young females, which I can only describe as wearing Halloween costumes of Fairy wings, going at each other like a couple of wild ill-bred hounds in heat.
Without hesitating, I knew I had to put a stop to this vulgar display of animal instinct. This is his Majesty's Royal Forest and I alone have his permission to hike these woods unescorted.
I took out my revolver from my overcoat pocket and fired a warning shot over their heads to show them I meant business. Then I yelled, "You two retched wenches, get off the King's property before I call his Majesty's Royal Guard and have you hung for treason."
Astonishingly, they laughed at my orders and pranced around as if music was playing. Yet I heard nothing.
I took another warning shot above their heads. Then, the once beautiful complexions on these dancing maiden's faces turned into the most frightening sight one could imagine.
I assumed it was a ruse so this time I fired at their feet. They immediately twirled in place so fast, it looked like a couple of those American Midwestern tornadoes.
I felt the need for action. So I aimed my pistol at the closes twirl and popped two rounds into it.
The imp I shot stopped twitching, smiled devilishly at me, and jumped me with such vigor that I didn't have a moment to move.
Trapped by both now, either one holding onto one of my two arms, they ran so fast in a circle that I was screwed down into the ground up to my neck.
I could not move nor turn around, but I knew of their departure by the dancing of their feet and the fading of their laughter.
Good Sir, I see in your eyes, disbelief of what I'm telling you. I know my features look like a tree. With many branches instead of arms, leaves where I once had hair, and a large knot in my trunk that I use as a mouth for speaking, but man, this is the Nineteenth Century and King Oswald must know how to fix me into being a man again?
Can you not hear me good sir?
Please Sir?
Oh, it's you two again.
A joke is a joke.
Can you turn me human again?
Please?
Don't go.

Observers in eastern North America will be able to see the whole transit, while the transit will already have begun as the sun rises in the western half of the continent.
