RC (Recalcitrant Conformist) Hancock began his writing career with a story about a dead cat which his second grade teacher thought was brilliant. Convincing others of his literary genius has taken longer than expected, but along the road he has acquired a domestic goddess, four hairy gnomes (who, thankfully, look more like their mother), and a degree from BYU in Recreational Management & Youth Leadership (which gives him license to act like a child.) An Uncommon Blue is his first novel and the cause of most of his hair loss.

Thanks so much for the question. I remember your great review and appreciate your interest. Short answer is that book 2 is written and will get published one way or another. Lol. My current publisher is waiting on sales for book 1 to reach about 2500 before they invest in the sequel. Not sure how close (or far) I am from that number, but I'm working on a new series and trying to get an agent. So, I promise you will get it eventually (if I have to self publish) or maybe cedar fort will contact me soon and ask for #2) either way, I thank you for reading and caring. :)(less)

Teens that won’t read their scriptures?

This post has nothing to do with the Broadway musical. I just thought that logo was catchy.

Do you have teens that refuse to read the Book of Mormon or complain about it being too hard to understand? Take a look at my version and see if it helps. This is in Beta mode, so I’ve only uploaded the first chapter. I really am interested in feedback. Thanks!

My wife and some of my kids have this disorder.
I'm so glad to see a book that informs parents (and kids) about it.
This was well written and I loved the cartoony art.

Got a free copy for a review. I read it to my kids and they really liked it.
The scatological humor had them laughing out loud, and the concept was really cool.
Thanks for the copy! I'm sure my kids will steal my phone and read this again soon.

March book discussion: vote for the book you'd like to discuss. Page counts refer to Kindle editions.
NOTE: Poll is intended for people who want to read the book and discuss it, particularly those who have not yet read it or are willing to re-read if it's been a while.
