“There's a fine line between a superpower and a chronic medical condition.”
Austin Grossman, Soon I Will Be Invincible

“When your laboratory explodes, lacing your body with a supercharged elixir, what do you do? You don't just lie there. You crawl out of the rubble, hideously scarred, and swear vengeance on the world. You keep going. You keep trying to take over the world.”
Austin Grossman, Soon I Will Be Invincible

“When you can't bear something but it goes on anyway, the person who survives isn't you anymore; you've changed and become someone else, a new person, the one who did bear it after all.”
Austin Grossman

Polls

March book discussion: vote for the book you'd like to discuss. Page counts refer to Kindle editions.
NOTE: Poll is intended for people who want to read the book and discuss it, particularly those who have not yet read it or are willing to re-read if it's been a while. Do not vote unless you will follow up if your book wins. No recruiting by authors please (likewise voting to "Like" a book skews the results). Thanks, and happy voting!

Vin How's the movie coming along?

Sandi Soon I Will Be Invincible was an incredibly fun read. My daughter lent me her copy of the "Doctor Horrible's Sing-along Blog" DVD and I kept thinking, "This is so much like 'Soon I Will Be Invincible". I suspect Joss Whedon was very much influenced by your book.
