National Poetry Month recommended reading

For National Poetry Month, I'm going to post some of the poetry collections I've read recently and over many years, as well as links to authors worth exploring as a whole. If nothing else, I hope readers will explore at least some of these recommendations; you never know where one of them might lead.

Rick Mullin's book length poem about the painter Chaim Soutine is a tour-de-force of formal narrative verse, and a powerful exploration of art, biography, and the poet's own personal history.

Rabbit Ears: Poems About TV

I'm delighted to have a poem appearing in the forthcoming anthology Rabbit Ears: Poems About TV, edited by Joel Allegretti and published by Poets Wear Prada early next year.
