National Poetry Month recommended reading
For National Poetry Month, I'm going to post some of the poetry collections I've read recently and over many years, as well as links to authors worth exploring as a whole. If nothing else, I hope readers will explore at least some of these recommendations; you never know where one of them might lead.
Rick Mullin's book length poem about the painter Chaim Soutine is a tour-de-force of formal narrative verse, and a powerful exploration of art, biography, and the poet's own personal history.

Rabbit Ears: Poems About TV
I'm delighted to have a poem appearing in the forthcoming anthology Rabbit Ears: Poems About TV, edited by Joel Allegretti and published by Poets Wear Prada early next year.
The poem is titled "Test," and here's a link to the Rabbit Ears blog, which contains write-ups by a number of the contributors to the anthology:

Old Flame: 32 Poems anthology
The terrific journal 32 Poems has just released an anthology, selecting poems from its first ten years. Bruce Bond, Lisa Spaar, Billy Collins, William Logan, A. E. Stallings, Kevin Prufer, Amit Majmudar, Lydia Davis, and many more poets are represented. I'm delighted to be included in Old Flame, which is published by WordFarm Books, and urge readers to at least click on this link, where samples of the book are posted:

New poems published in Kin
Kin magazine is a new poetry journal, beautifully designed and thoughtfully edited; I'm pleased to have two poems just published there, both from a finished manuscript now seeking a publisher:
