My new audiobook is coming along great, based upon my just-launched, riveting novel, "Palette Knife: A Novel of Love, Intrigue, and Nazi Terror". It's 1937 Berlin, and pacifist and Expressionist painter Max Bauer--war hero-- gets a gig from the artistic-minded and twisted Adolf Hitler, and he and his half-Jewish, physician wife Frieda are in for very rough times indeed. So are their foes--the Nazi brass and their star henchman, General Siegfried Hock. Freedom of expression crashes into oppression and terror--which resonates today. Max and his artist friends and family are in the middle. Does violence come to the rescue? Enjoy this new, action-packed historical novel that has strong romance and right-angle conflicts, and is based upon true i ...more

Also, people sense some rot in our societies, and the metaphor of a vampire or strange, dark force is apt. Also, the main character can have even more enthralling tags than a "normal" person; paranormal for me means anything beyond the usual five human senses, although there is disagreement here? What does "paranormal" mean to you?(less)

Palette Knife: A Novel of Love, Intrigue, and Nazi Terror

My new historical novel--set in 1937 Berlin--has just been released on Kindle and Amazon paperback with five-star reviews. Max Bauer, Expressionist painter and war hero, with his half-Jewish physician wife Frieda--take on the Third Reich and a sadistic yet refined Gestapo henchman.

Read about the modern imagination colliding with Nazi Terror, and Max's struggle to save his art--then far more--wres Read more of this blog post »
