A lifetime ago, T.R. Dailey was an animator. A mass layoff changed everything. Since then, she and her boyfriend moved their entire home and forty-four pets from San Diego to Los Angeles, then to Louisiana where her boyfriend became her fiancé, and once again to New Jersey – all to follow her fiancé’s visual effects career. (It continued to New York, and back to New Jersey, never by choice.) Finding it difficult to hold down a job between moves, T.R. Dailey spent her time writing. In 2014 she published “Another Lid to a Potless Existence: Collected Poetry 2006-2012” which is about sloshing through the muck and hopefulness during the transition from young adulthood to being a new adult. She is currently revising her second manuscript.

A lovely little historical jaunt into children's books filled with murder and misogyny. Not really for kids tbh. Anyone that would read it today would likely be triggered by its themes - particularly how Mr. Crow treats his wife. Published posthumous ...more

Conceptually, I loved this. All the ideas, from the individual scenes to the grand idea in the end, were fantastic. I loved the crazy randomness of it. The fact that the kids, tucked away from the world for years and used to going around in robes or ...more
