A lifetime ago, T.R. Dailey was an animator. Then a mass layoff changed everything. Since then, in only three years, she and her boyfriend moved their entire home and forty-four pets from San Diego to Los Angeles, then to Louisiana where her boyfriend became her fiancé, and once again to New Jersey – all to follow her fiancé’s visual effects career. Finding it difficult to hold down a job between moves, T.R. Dailey spent her time writing. She finished and is now preparing her debut novel, a young adult psychological adventure about entrapment inside the crumbling world of dreams. The Writer's Conference in San Diego was wonderful, full of excellent information and plenty of opportunities to speak one-on-one with agents - whether to pitch, learn about the industry, or just to get to know them as people.
