World of Jinn: A Wish…and a Kiss by Margaret St. George (+Giveaway) #bookworm

wishkiss

“Your Wish is My Command.”
He appeared to her – brooding, smoldering, with silky black hair and sinewy strength. And when he turned his penetrating eyes on her, she was helpless against his magnetism. In an instant, Chelsey Mallon knew this was no ordinary man.
“I am Your Genie.”
But no genie ever looked like Alexander Duport. Genies were fairy tales, not flesh-and-blood male. Genies served their masters, they didn’t ignite sexual fantasies.

“I am Your Destiny.”
Alex offered her a night to rememb...

Day 5: 31 Days of Free Book Marketing #ebook

On day 2, we talked about the importance of having promo images. The task that day was making or finding images to mix up your social network posts a little.

Today is a similar task, but to create “teaser” images. You will need to pick interesting snippets from your book and put them on a snazzy background. If it’s safer for everyone’s eyeballs if you stay away from Photoshop (it is for me, believeyoume), and if you can’t bribe anyone with ice cream to make some teaser images for you, there’s...

World of Jinn: I Dream Of You by Judi McCoy (+Giveaway) #giveaway

dream

Maddy Winston has had it. Her no-good fiance has walked out, her computer company is being sabotaged, and now somebody is playing a practical joke on her — with the help of a dingy old bottle and a disturbingly sexy magician who keeps appearing out of nowhere! “Ben” — short for Abben ben Abdullah — is a card-carrying genie who’s determined to grant her every wish. And Maddy soon realizes the only thing she really wants is…him.

This post is part of my World of Jinn blog feature, which highligh...

Day 4: 31 Days of Free Book Marketing #amwriting

You will need to set aside a little time to do today’s task properly, so you might not complete it today. You can at least get it started, though.

Today’s task is to write a guest post. A lot of times when I say this, people slap together some insider info about their book and start hitting up bloggers to share it. That’s not a “proper” guest post, though. For this task, I challenge you to write something informative or, at the very least, entertaining. This can range from ten writing tips you...

World of Jinn: Slave to Passion (Firebrand #2) by Elisabeth Naughton (+Giveaway) #amreading

passion
Kill them all…

Enslaved by his enemies and forced to fight in the pits of Jahannam for their depraved entertainment, Nasir, the once-proud Marid warrior and djinn prince, has become a killer. One celebrated and feared at the same time. Even he doesn’t remember who he used to be, nor does he care, until hope enters his cell in the form of an alluring woman who may be the key to his salvation.

This is not my life…

Sold into slavery, Kavin must prove her worth. If she can survive one night in the...

Day 3: 31 Days of Free Book Marketing #indiepromo

Google Plus is often overlooked by authors, but it can be a great way to expand your audience. Contrary to what you might have heard on Facebook and Twitter, people actually do use Google Plus. And they tend to be pretty friendly.

So today, post your book link over on Google Plus. You can use your nifty image from yesterday’s task.

You can also ask your followers to +1 and share the post. Consider giving away a copy of your book to everyone who +1 and shares, or to the first five people who doe...

World of Jinn: Possessed By Desire (Firebrand #3) by Elisabeth Naughton (+Giveaway) #bookworm

possessed
Imprisonment has taught Ashur, the youngest djinn prince enslaved by a power-hungry sorceress, one thing: life as a pleasure slave has its rewards…if you play by the rules. He’s been tortured. He’s nearly died protecting a tribe that’s forsaken him. But he’s also seen life on the other side as an obedient slave. For a shot at revenge against the brothers who abandoned him, he’s willing to serve his master, even if it means using passion to corrupt the souls she needs to fuel her immortality....

World of Jinn: Jinni’s Wish by Marie Hall (+Giveaway) #giveaway

jinnis wish

A long, long time ago there lived a man. A Jinni, who had one wish. To know love. But the woman he thought he knew betrayed him and the love he thought they shared. Tortured for his crimes, he was cast out of Kingdom, stripped of all his powers, left to langour in pain and solitude, until eventually he becomes nothing but a ghost…

Paz Lopez is an artist with a dream. To buy a ridiculously large penthouse in the swankiest section of Chicago. But there’s just one hitch, she has no man to share...

Day 2: 31 Days of Free Book Marketing #bookpromo

Today’s free book marketing task requires a little creativity, but that’s what you’re in the business of, aren’t you?

Today you will need to create a marketing image for social networks. The purpose is to make your Tweets stand out since the Twitter timeline view now shows images. It also works for Facebook and Google Plus so your default image isn’t always your book cover. Mixes things up, catches people’s attention as they fall into the scrolling-daze.

Here’s an example of one I use for SUM...
