Nuevo Libro de Poesía en Proceso

Comencé a trabajar en mi primer libro de poesía en español que va a contener mi poesía escrita originalmente en español, así como muestras de mi poesía clásica y nueva en inglés traducidas por mí al español. Aunque el español es mi lengua madre, mis libros y artículos académicos son casi exclusivamente en inglés, que es mi lengua primaria hoy día. Esto es algo que he comenzado a abordar desde que fallecieron mis padres, ya que no puedo ahora practicar mi español a diario.

Although I stand on the shoulders of giants,
I fail to see much farther than the bridge of my nose.
The fault in mine. The shame is mine.

Victims’ Rights

We take every precaution,
To protect the right of folks,
Accused of committing crimes.





The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Fourteenth,
Amendments safeguard those rights,
In our Constitution.





But the Bill of Rights does not,
Apply to victims who are,
Made no promise of justice.
