FREE today only (1/3/2021)–the Kindle version of my first book of poems (all world regions)

I very recently published my second book of poems, Echoes of Dawn at Dusk, Collected Poems (Volume 2). I’m still working on a smaller Spanish version of the book with some original poems written in Spanish and others in translation from my English originals (Ecos del Alba en Tinieblas) that I’ll complete at some point as time allows since I’m now busy porting my lectures to an online format for the coming spring semester. So I decided to make my first book of poems, Of Pain and Ecstasy: Collecte...

FREE today only (1/2/2021): End of Days

This is one of my novella-length short stories about the unfolding series of events that will result in the end of the world and, eventually, of our corner of the multiverse. The end is very near, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Download it free on Amazon by clicking here.

This is one of the 13 short stories in my Echoes of the Mind’s Eye collection. You can preview that new release on Amazon or your favorite book retailer. The book is available on eBook and paperback ...

Two of my Kindle books FREE this weekend only . . .

Saturday, January 2: End of Days (science fiction short story): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0099AQL0K/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i21

This short story poses a novel theory as to the role of black holes in both the creation and destruction of an endless number of universes that coexist in an incomprehensibly complex multiverse. It is a cautionary tale about the arrogance of scientists who are the cosmic equivalent of amoebas attempting to discern the secrets of the universe by thor...

Do you want to know exactly how the world will soon end? Read on . . .

I generally dislike disaster movies and especially end-of-the-world narratives, be they in print or film, in no small part because they tend to be predictable and follow similar plot lines regardless of the nature of the disaster central to their themes. Ironically, two of the 13 short stories in my Echoes of the Mind’s Eye collection center on two plausible end-of-the-world scenarios. Mars: Genesis 2.0 involves a massive meteor that will strike Earth and cause an extinction event nearly two yea...

To all my WordPress friends: I have several books and short stories (English and Spanish versions) free today and tomorrow only on Amazon. Unlike prior years, my free books are available on Amazon in different countries across select platforms as I’ve had a few downloads this morning from Mexico and Spain in addition to the U.S. I don’t advertise my books as a rule, so only word of mouth and my silly posts on Twitter ignored by most all of my 2200+ followers there and here are what I use. SIGH
