New Podcast (and new book bubble and complete Chapter 3 of Hire Lernin’)

I’ve been having fun in between real work creating some YouTube videos of my fiction, poetry and non-fiction readings that I’ve posted to my YouTube channel and sometimes link here and more recently working on creating “book bubbles” through Bublish that provide writing samples from some of my books along with some background that readers will not find elsewhere in any of my writings. Today I began experimenting with creating my first podcast and posted a complete reading of the first two chapte...

Two of the “book bubbles” I posted today are from my first book of poems, Of Pain and Ecstasy: Collected Poems. Central Park and The Subway were both written around the same time by me when in m...

Posting some book bubbles to Bublish

I started posting some of my books to Bublish as I like the idea of their “book bubbles” as a way to introduce snippets from my books with some commentary to new readers. I don’t know if it will be worth the time it takes to prepare these, but it was a fun way to whittle away a good chunk of Monday rather than doing more meaningful work. *SIGH*

You can see my tentative efforts here https://bublish.com/author/victorlopez

A Reading of Two Poems: Unsung Heroes #5 – Felipe and Unsung Heroes #6 – Lita

The link below will take you to a YouTube video of my reading the two longest poems in my newly released book of poetry, Echoes of Dawn at Dusk: Collected Poems (Volume 2). The poems are about my mom and dad from childhood to their deaths. Both were written within days of their passing.
