#Book Review: Hunted Angel by Alex Apostol 5/5 Stars

Overview: Continuing where we left off in Earth Angel, Kamlyn Paige has defeated the Lamia that killed her precious little son and has found a new love interest. As their relationship heated up, the threat of his boss increased and he was taken from Kamlyn. Now the search ensues as she requests the help of her only family left and a stray dog she found outside of a ghost ball. Traveling across the continent in the blink of an eye, three times, she finds Sari…but the worst is yet to come.

Opinion: Holy crap! Amazing sequel to an amazing first book. So many twists and turns you don’t see coming. If you think you have everything figured out, read the next page and you are blown away again. So many things packed into one 200 page book is incredible, but everything fits without feeling overly crowded. I can’t wait for the third installment!!!

Recommend: Yes

Weve got an incredible competition ahead of us today, with the Olympic gold medal on the line. Stakes are high and passions are higher, so lets jump right inpun intended. Jim?

Thanks, Steve. As all of you horse-heads know, weve got one of the most competitive line-ups scheduled this afternoon. Steve Guerdat, who of course won the 2012 Olympic gold in London, will be representing the Swiss, followed by last years silver medalist Greco Schroder, from the Netherlands. It goes without saying that we also have world-favorite, and teen heartthrob, Clan OConner of Ireland coming up in a few minutes time.

Thats right, Jim, the teens go crazy for him. Im not sure if its his hair

So, here is a scan of my brain and the Tumor is circled. Its bigger than first thought. On the 9th I have one more MRI w/ spectroscopy to determine the rate of growth and cell types. Then it gets really hairy.

Introducing…Zoe Ambler

Originally posted on Wasted Days And Wasted Nights:

A couple of months ago I met a blogger named Zoe Ambler. She has a new book out that she has published on her own. Independent writers have a tough job. They must do their own marketing and publicity and unless you have a huge online presence and following, thats a pretty tough job! It occured to me that I could help a tiny bit by introducing her to my readers here on this blog. It is my hope that YOU will share a link to this blog post with your friends and readers, as well as on Twitter if you have a Twitter account. Each one of us can help. I hope you will help Zoe by reading about her and pointing others here to read about her.

What Makes a Good Ebook?

What Makes a Good Ebook?

Ask anyone that question, and theyll probably give you an answer based onplot, characters, flow, grammar, or presentation. Each reader will expect to read, in their view, a perfect ebook, and this is where the problem of defining whether its good or not, lies. The book loving populationis huge. Eachreader is different from another, all of them unique, and everyone with their own distinct view of what makes a good book. I believe, the perceived quality of a book depends just as much on the perceptions of the reader as on the prowess of the author.

The Perceptions of the Reader

There are many things readers like or dislike about ebooks, and these tastes are also transient. What someone likes in one book, they may hate in another. What theyabhorred last year they may love now. Tastes are so varied they are impossible to pin

Groundhog Day!

Yay, today is the day to watch one of my favorite movies! It would suck to live the same day over and over and over again, but Bill Murray makes it fun. If you haven’t seen the movie you need to see it! Bill plays a TV journalist who has been selected by his station to cover Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction. Of course Bill is a bit of a jerk and not happy about covering an over-commercialized holiday, and ends up in a loop repeating GHD over and over until he gets it right. Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day actually comes from Candlemas Day, where the Catholics bless their candles and farmers begin to worry about making it through winter. There were old wives sayings that if it is a nice sunny day on February 2nd, then there is still more winter to come. However, if it is dark and dreary, spring is around the corner. Sounds a bit backwards to me, but then again people are looking to a groundhog to predict the weather.

You threw me to the wolves

It toke all my strength

Two years to recover

Now its your turn to be thrown to the wolves.

To prove to your self you can face and win against

The growling gleam

I can not step in

Its your battle to fight

When you recover Ill be there to kiss the scars scattering you

Then you will see what I do

One whom can stand up and fight for the truth

The right from wrong

Someone who sees he is worthy and ever so deserving

Its now up to you as I sit

Pain knowing your hurting
As I watch on you look back and know Im right
