#Best #Rumor EVER!

They are thinking of bring back the X-Files!!!!!! OMG I’m doing the happy dance of awesomeness! I love the X-Files, and would love to see it brought back…on the condition that David Duchovny, and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles. Even if they are supposed to be mentors to new agents taking over, they need to be in the show as Mulder and Scully or else it wouldn’t be right. Here is more info. http://www.youvegotredonyou.com/#!news/c1ocy

#DayOffTomorrow

Every once in awhile, I enjoy taking a day off from electronics. I turn off my computer, iPod, and block my Xbox just to enjoy the day. I read (a lot) and do some physical writing take in the local scenery, just to clear out the cobwebs in my head. I don’t know why, but I always feel better after a day off from the internet. So I will see you all on the 29th…I do have a post scheduled for the 28th and it should pop up without me here, so don’t worry there will still be a post to read. Here is a song from a favorite movie of mine to help pass the time.

Then the fun begins. Clyde suddenly gets cocky. He moves his big fluffy body up near the entrance to the building and assumes his sentry position, carefully picking his victims as they run toward the door.

It is a scene out of a Stephen King film. Dozens of women and men, stealthily advancing toward the building, while the king of birds sits waiting patiently, ready to strike with his weapon of wings. He has a

When Grandma read Fifty Shades – A poem by Granddad.

Cancer, illness, treatments doesnt take a snow day. The appreciation of others staying at AstraZeneca Hope Lodge because dinner was delivered before the storm, priceless! Thankful for the many volunteers that make these nights possible for many deserving people!

Current of Time among the Waves

Grief takes time but, just maybe time brings out clarity. As an ocean flows with the current and tide, it sustains a rhythm centered by outside forces. Grief has a flow that is sustained differently by each person, a wave in a sense that is centered amongst a current, a very unique current due to many outside factors.Grief, I always thought was the same for everyone until I was caught in the current. Trust your ability to swim against the uncontrollable tide and ride the waves. Remember, you know yourself and your grief the best. Have faith in yourself

Update on my friend Patrick McBroom

In my Original Post about Patrick McBroom, he had been sent home for hospice care and was wanting pictures for his walls. I was informed today, (1/26/15), that he has passed away. I would like to thank those of you who read and shared my post, and a special thanks to those who sent him a picture or a poster or words of encouragement. They meant a great deal to him and his family. Here is the link to his guest book if you would like to sign it and offer your condolences. Again thank you very much for your help.

New “It” Movie

I love Stephen King, one of my favorite authors, and his movies are great adaptations. So when I heard about the new “It” movie coming out I was ecstatic…at first. Then I got thinking about how it is one of my favorite movies by him, quite possibly the first film of his that I ever saw. Am I ready for someone else other than the great Tim Curry to play Pennywise? What about John Ritter? He was a great actor and played his part well in the first movie. I just don’t take remakes that well, the new director usually screws up somewhere. Or do we think they screw up because we love the originals so much? I’m sure it’s going to come out awesome but it probably won’t touch the masterpiece that is the original.

#CLTBRCHALLENGE15 Book Review: Earth Angel by Alex Apostol 5/5 Stars

Overview: Kamlyn Paige is a young mother of a sweet little boy. Even after she lost her parents in a car accident, her life is getting better. Until one night when someone breaks into her home and steals her son away from her. Now there is hell to pay as she spends a year hunting down the person who took him. It takes her a little over a year, hard training and meeting a guardian angel to do so but she finds the one she is looking for and the fight begins.

Opinion: Earth Angel is amazing! A heart wrenching, suspense filled novel. It made me laugh with the main character, and cry when she was put through all those horrible events. I couldnt put it down and read it in one setting. Supernatural meets Buffy, I cant wait to start the next one.

Recommend: Yes!
