For island are you going to be allowing ANY genre in the magazine, or just a few. For example, would you have a romance in there or a porn?

It’s really open to whatever the creators involved want to do. A lot of it (most) has been scifiery but that’s just the nature of the kind of stuff me and Emma tend to be into. 

Romance is cool. outright porn is harder with distribution being what it is– but there’s certainly some nudity and sex in the work. If we do a porn Island issue it would have to be an Adults only thing.

I just finished drawing a funny porn comic and am having a hard time finding publishers that'll print smut. Can you recommend any good smut publishers?

I used to do work with NBM (they’re ok but they were pretty slow on royalties)

Josh Lesnick runs. He is a really solid dude. He would be worth sending stuff too. 

Also it seems like Patrion and Kickstarter has been good for a lot of porn comics.

Even Image has done a few– with Black Kiss 2 and Stjepan Sejic’s Sunstone.

It took three years but I finally convinced myself to get an Empire Eye tattoo from Prophet. Prophet is one of the most inspiring comics I’ve read and collected in years - and after several fanart pieces, meeting Brandon Graham, Giannis Milonogiannis (and getting an original page from the latter), and a postcard from Simon Roy I thought it was time to top it all off!

Big thanks to excellent tattoo artist and old college pal dinky-ink (Keelin Corscadden) who was guesting at Colour Works Tattoo Studios in Dublin!
